"I think we're spending too much time fighting each other's thoughts of school instead of focusing on the target at hand - getting rid of the government and the hierarchy system. "

Well, the problem is I'm all for getting rid of the government, but you guys seem to think once the government is gone, you get to control me and my property (if I owned any). So really, you just want to be the government, but you call yourselves anarchists.

Mmm... Thank you for the video, you just converted someone else since I did strongly believe in individuality and free-will co-op strongly before I knew what anarchy really was. :)

The video isn't just a couple of words saying, "Chaos". It actually has a long definition, and an example, and video.

PS: You're trolling.

A long definition does not make it any more true than a short one. I don't see how you could have possibly perceived what Oblisk said as trolling, either. he merely pointed out that you're argument was flawed.

Old school anarchy = screw authority, I and the rest of humanity can think for ourselves.

Not so much the idea of rebellion for no reason other than not liking the idea of being governed.

Imo.

As stated elsewhere:

a)Anarchy is a means to an end. And is literally disorder, lawlessness; anarchist is he who causes and promotes the disorder.

b)Anarchism is an end and is a political ideology as defined by the premises of whatever -isms inside this movement and Anarchist is a member of one of these movements.

(1)All political ideologues(commies, capitalists, socialists) can engage in anarchy to effect their ends, and by doing so become anarchists but not Anarchists, unless that is their end-ideology.

(2)Anarchists just like others who will engage in anarchy to effect Anarchism are both anarchists and Anarchists.

(3)Anarchists that do not engage in anarchy to effect Anarchism are Anarchists but not anarchists.

What is Anarchy?

In this video it states that anarchists believe that the only legitimate authority comes from consensus. which is definitely not true. Most Class Struggle anarchist organization run with some version of direct democracy.

This is completely untrue. The notion that anarchy meant disorder, chaos, etc was largely manufactured by European nations as propaganda to thwart the rise of the ideology.

Nope, this is stupid. Anarchy means the same thing as anarchism.

Nope. Anarchism fist appeared as a political philosophy in the early to mid 1800s and was a lot more in depth than that. Proudhon was the first person to ever call himself an anarchist. Look him up.

Anarcho-mutualism and anarcho-communism were the first to anarchist ideologies. Anarcho capitalism is a new thing and is quite contradictory IMO.
