A do nothing budget , not much in it, high taxes, high spending, bigger deficit , what ever happened to the budget debt crisis? One year done the track and this Government is unconcerned about higher debt. If this was a ALP Budget Hockey would be scathing. It's about political survival.

The problem is that, in a general sense, this is what Abbott promised before the election. Yes definitely about political survival. Probably an early election too.

Yes the debt is larger, however it was smaller than most economist were prodicting so, our spending is slowing down and the growth of our debt has decrease at some point.

And more taxes ofcause, they couldnt get all the saving messures though so they had to make up the lose somehow.

And want to talk about political survival, lets talk about Labors bugdet.. Lots of spending..no cuts what so ever.
