I don't see the problem with a Chinese investor buying a farm in the USA. When India bans the export of rice it doesn't matter if the rice was planted and harvested by a Muslim, Sikh or Hindu; none of them can export the rice. Or if Malaysia bans the export of chicken. It doesn't matter if the farm is owned by a Chinese, an Indian or a Malay; no exports allowed. Or is the fear of Chinese political interference overriding common sense?

Also congratulations on discussing this for 3 full pages without mentioning France's control over the currency used by multiple West African countries.
