Doesn't sound like too bad an idea to be honest but it's unlikely to happen. It's not like the wealthy and influential people would give up their wealth so easily and they do have means of controlling and getting their way.

Lots of stories of people like Carnegie murdering people to climb their way to wealth so I would be surprised if Trump wasn't assassinated if he tried something like that.
