Asking plaro to write an article would be almost the same as to ask Dave to write an article ...... Do you really think that would be beneficial for pofo ePub?

I would actually be very interested in reading a serious article by Dave, as I'm sure other PoFoites would.

In any case the submission hasn't been properly formatted, so we are still accepting submissions as of right now.

Although, contributors must also bear in mind that all submissions must also show how they contribute to to the advance of Socialism.

Cheers to Ombrageux (Dumb Teen is so much easier to spell by the way  ), CM, and Honi, as well as all those who contributed.

I eagerly await the finished product.

Take that you haters.

I've always found Plaro to be very insightful in his comments even if I disagree with him. There is no left/right bias in the pub, even if it's run by three leftists. We were hoping to get one more right-wing editor but we wouldn't want to force it just for the sake of appearances.
I appreciate that you are willing to include all.

Thank you for the information.

I, among other things, am also an editor for an academic journal. I am pointing out some of the obvious problems the journal will face.

I'll second CM's post that as much as I disagree with both, I respect any poster who shows some intellect and insight.

Yes, I realize that. Obviously that wasn't directed to you.

I am sorry people. Given the constructive criticism regarding our magazine here, we have to delay publication. We have begun the process of submitting every piece to two independent academic experts for review. This is going quite well for the most part except for our more obscure topics. Would anyone know experts on the socio-political role of South Korean comedy as well as an expert on internet phenomena (also known as "memery")?

I can't tell if this is a joke or not... :|

This wasn't meant as an academic publication in the first place. I'm not even an academic! This was just a nice, more 'refined' and organised way of expressing ourselves. I am sure that the serious academic publishers on PoFo do not require this e-publication for their renown and reputation.

I'm not sure I want PoFoites articles, myself included, reviewed by some 'expert'. For all intents and purposes, the articles' writers ARE the experts.

Indeed. ;)

I think we should go to peer reviewed posting for the entire board instead of just a user's first few posts. My delete finger will be worn out but by God we'll eliminate the filth. May as well just kiss Gorkiy g'bye right now.

PoFo Peer Review Posting: Now hiring Moderators! No Pay, No glamor and No thanks! Sign up below! (Oh, and the people for whom you are denying posts will also likely stalk you and threaten you!)

Have not you published the first issue yet?

Hurry up. Then, we can start delivering some constructive criticism. ;)

Who is making fun here? We just pointed out obvious issues for this ePublication. I don't really care if you ignore those issues. But if you at least want to try to establish a journal, you should look into it. Otherwise it will only be a platform for overgrown posts.

Hurry up. Then, we can start delivering some constructive criticism. ;)

Indeed, publish first instead of whining about reading criticism.
