For the first time I've grown two chili plants (cayenne) this year which are ripening right now. We were able to include the first red ones into our diet (lots of hot pasta ), but we're now kind of overwhelmed.
I would love to keep them fresh, but simply dunking them in oil is not going to do it I guess (or does heating a closed pot for some time do the trick?). Drying is another option I hear sometimes, how does that work? Grinding them into powder?
Basically I'm an idiot with fresh chili and I don't want to waste them. Halp!
