Too good to miss, but more seriously the USAF will need to address the deficiencies in the aircraft's sensor suite sooner or later.
Dropping the IRST was a huge mistake in my opinion, BVR combat just does not have the evidence to support the justification of an all radar fighter and the impact of technology combinations like the helmet mounted sight, high off the bore missiles and distributed apertures could leave the F-22 struggling to keep up. Especially in future scenarios where the enemy has itself used signature reduction technology.
