Every negotiation is a matter of trust in the reliability of your prospective partner. If you don't trust them - if you expect them to violate the terms of your agreement - you won't sign one.

Which is why I don't believe in a closer cooperation between China and America. As I said, America has an abysmal track record when it comes to "cooperation" with non-Western countries.
