Has Trump lost the plot?
He attacked the press again and again. He said he was going to contact the Justice Office over the leaks to the press. lol
The BBC question 60 minutes into the conference is a classic.
In fact he was heckled by the press as he left the rostrum.

President Trump rejected portrayals of chaos in his administration and claimed "incredible" progress in his first four weeks in office, lashing out at media organizations he said "will not tell you the truth."

But the highlight of the press conference was Trumps all out attack on the press :

"I'm not ranting and raving, I'm just telling you you're dishonest people,

I'm making this presentation directly to the American people with the media present, which is an honor to have you, this morning, because many of our nation's reporters and folks will not tell you the truth. And will not treat the wonderful people of our country with the respect that they deserve."

"Many of our nation's reporters and folks will not tell you the truth and will not treat you with the respect you deserve"

"Much of the media in Washington, D.C., along with New York, Los Angeles in particular, speaks for the special interests and for those profiting off the obviously very, very broken system.

“The press has become so dishonest that if we don't talk about it we are doing a tremendous disservice to the American people. Tremendous disservice. We have to talk about it. We have to find out what's going on because the press honestly is out of control."

“In other words, the media is trying to attack our administration because they know we are following through on pledges that we made, and they are not happy about it, for whatever reason. But a lot of people are happy about it.”

Trump said..

He warned that bad relations with Russia could result in nuclear war, as a way of explaining his attempt to remake relations with President Vladimir Putin. “Nuclear holocaust would be like no other,” he said.
He signaled that he was softening on immigration policy, saying that he’d deal with President Obama’s executive action unilaterally easing immigration law “with heart.”
He said he did not “know of” any official on his presidential campaign having contact with Russian officials during the election, though he had to be asked three times before giving an answer.
He said he’s instructed the Department of Justice to look into the leaks coming out of his administration.
He conceded that the leaks reported on by the press were correct, despite claiming news organizations continually get things wrong. “The leaks are absolutely real. The news is fake, because so much of the news is fake,” he said.
He scolded an Orthodox Jewish reporter for asking about rising anti-Semitism in America.
He asked a black reporter whether members of the Congressional Black Caucus are friends of hers.
He predicted that the press would claim that he was “ranting” and “raving.” “Tomorrow the headlines are going to be Donald Trump rants — I’m not ranting and raving,” he said.

It is good thing that the left-wing national press is being attacked for their dishonest slant on the News.
They had a love affair with Obama, who did things that might be treasonous.
President Trump is simply trying to correct as much of the bad things that have been happening in this country as he can.
The left-wingers are quick to latch on to fake news if it seems to serve their cause.
For example, when the democrats quoted a comment from a fake twitter supposedly from Gen Flynn.
The following day they had to apologize for it.

So it's ok to be treasonous when trump does it. The difference is when democrats or those "fake news" make a mistake, they at least admit they have and retract it. Republicans and fox news does none of that and double down. Due tell what was Obama "treason"?

When Barack Obama made the Bergdahl trade, an obvious breach of U.S. policy to not negotiate with terrorists, many around the country were outraged.

The anger has continued to build as information about the rescued Army Sargent has surfaced indicating that he deserted his post and may have been working with the enemy to kill American troops.

These actions, coupled with the VA scandal and Benghazi cover up, all which point back to the president, have led some to believe that impeaching the Obama isn’t going to be enough.

Many in Congress and across the nation believe the president should be prosecuted, possibly even charged with treason for his actions, as he has violated his oath of office and helped America’s enemies by releasing terrorist leaders.

Obama's actions in the intelligence field just before leaving office makes it easier to spy on American citizens.

Trump has bad listening skills. He was asked about threads to a Jewish centers across the nation and instead he says he is the least anti-Semitic person and that he is offended by the question. Then he tells the reporter to "sit down". Umm, what?

Obama did not start the NSA wiretapping and spying though, that is a Bush Jr legacy. I was and am disappointed that he only renewed the act.

The implication from the Jewish reporter is that Trump did not care about so-called threats to Jews all over the country.
Wouldn't you also be offended if your son-in-law is Jewish? The reporter was not asking a simple question as he said in the beginning.
Your problem is you listen to the spin from CNN very fake news commentators.

Jefferson Douglas had Native Son and adopted Black child, did that change his stance on colored people?

I don't see what the stance of Jefferson Douglas on so-called colored people has anything to do with Donald Trump and his relation to the Jewish people, because Trump has never shown any stance other than for the Jewish people. Even the leader of Israel said Trump was the best friend they had. Also Trump's Jewish son-in-law is apart of his administration and one of his most trusted advisers.

That still doesn't mean anything, words are just words. Why did he tell the journalist to be quiet, when he was doing his job? If this was Obama you would have condemn him, yet trump gets a pass? :eh:

That Jewish journalist was not offended and he was happy with the answer. He said so on a FOX News interview tonight. If fact, he knew what Trump had done for the Jewish community and could understand why he would be offended by the accusation of the question. Well, Obama would not call on FOX News and the rest of the press had a love affair with him and treated him like a god. So why would he want to quiet them?

I have a friend that already made a shirt that reads:

Trump wrote:Obamacare is a disaster, folks. It’s a disaster. I know you can say, oh, Obamacare. I mean, they fill up our alleys with people that you wonder how they get there, but they are not the Republican people our that representatives are representing.

My second favorite after his digression about nuclear war with Russia :eh: was the question as to how is it "fake news" when a leak is reported. ...........for a leak to be a leak it has to be true. therefore reporting on a leak is ipso facto .... true. Donald responded with something to the effect: "Blah-blah-blah-yak-yak" which was good enough for Fox and Hannity  .

I can't wait until the comedians rework this press conference into comedy sketches. I haven't seen the newspapers yet but they will be interesting. Trump is a fuckup merchant as they say in Essex.

Edit.
US President Donald Trump's choice for national security adviser has turned down the job offer.
Retired Vice-Admiral Robert Harward was widely tipped for the post after Mr Trump fired Michael Flynn on Monday.
A White House official said Mr Harward cited family and financial commitments, but US media said the sticking point was he wanted to bring in his own team.
Mr Flynn had misled US Vice-President Mike Pence over his conversations with Russia's ambassador to the US.
The latest setback emerged hours after Mr Trump robustly denied media reports of White House disarray, insisting in a news conference that his administration was running like a "fine-tuned machine".
