The NK leadership and inner circle has a lot to lose. A very nice comfortable existence. The party leaders and inner circle live very nice lives, I'm sure.

I can't seem to wrap my head around this shit. Why would NK and this stubby little dictator, continue to poke a stick at a hornet's nest?

The biggest reason the US has not toppled NK is because of SK. The sad truth is, Seoul will get totally destroyed if any sort of all out war happens. NK knows this, so they will continue to poke.

On a side note, China and Russia are a bunch of morons.

China maybe, but I'd have trouble thinking Putin is any sort of moron.
He's calculating and IMO, an excellent strategist.

So in order to keep SK peaceful, NK gets a pass? Somehow...that fat little freak Kim, has got to go.

China is dumb because the existence of NK gives the US a reason to be in the region, it gives Japan a reason to beef up their defense forces. Same is true with SK. These are all things that China doesn't like.

As for Russia, yea, maybe no so much, they just like fucking around.

My kid is in China right now.
She's learning about the Chinese people and their society and culture.
She's not terribly impressed.

be that as it may...I'd like to project a bit.

Why does Putin seem to "like" Donny-boy?
Aside from the money and business Don's done with the Russians...could there be another reason for this...whatever it is?

What has Putin said to his Duma and people about the European Refugee Crisis?
"In Russia, live like Russians. Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia, to work and eat in Russia, it should speak Russian, and should respect the Russian laws. If they prefer Sharia Law, and live the life of Muslims, then we advise them to go to those places where that's the state law.

"Russia does not need Muslim minorities. Minorities need Russia, and we will not grant them special privileges, or try to change our laws to fit their desires, no matter how loud they yell 'discrimination'. We will not tolerate disrespect of our Russian culture. We better learn from the suicides of America, England, Holland, and France, if we are to survive as a nation. The Muslims are taking over those countries and they will not take over Russia. The Russian customs and traditions are not compatible with the lack of culture, or the primitive ways of Sharia Law and Muslims. "When this honorable legislative body thinks of creating new laws, it should have in mind the Russian national interest first, observing that the Muslim Minorities are not Russians."

After the speech, the politicians in the Duma gave Putin a five-minute standing ovation!

Let's "assume" that this refugee thing gets to the point where the European authorities can no longer maintain any sort of law and order.
And don't fool yourself...there are parts of Europe that they define as "No Go" areas.
Who's gonna save Europe's ass? The USA? NATO?
Ya come on now. Neither of them have the will to do such a thing. And Donny's nationalistic views might well prevent him from committing US forces and resources to that. But Russia...wants "The Empire" back. I've heard Russians say this countless times.

Q: What could we "postulate" that Russia might get, in return for marching with NATO forces, in order to clean up Western Europe?

Ya he did.
I'm torn a bit about that.
On one side, I'm not a big fan of stupidity. And I think what Kimmy is doing is stupid.
On the other side, what's he supposed to do? The USA does have allied agreements to honor. Oh and the pesky idea that the government should kind of protect its citizens.
I really need to know, for sure, that Kimmy has nukes in those rockets. Or the tech to put them there. Should he, and he's lobbing these rockets around the seas, that might just eliminate my quandary.

Given Trump used the term "Rocketman", I think it is only fair to let Elton John have his say.

Damn baby boomers. They like to remind us of our lost humanity. But then the 21st century is going to make the bloodshed and cruelty of the 20th century look like a child's party. What do you think old man @anarchist23 ?

I don't know why Trump hasn't sent in Jack Bauer yet. What is he waiting for?

Actually, it's interesting that none of what has been happening has had a huge affect on the economy in South Korea. We've been thinking about buying an apartment in Goyang which is between the border and Seoul, and prices have remained pretty much unchanged. We don't know anyone shifting money out, and the exchange rate hasn't been doing anything dramatic.

US bombers have flown close to North Korea's east coast to demonstrate the military options available to defeat any threat, the Pentagon says.
The Pentagon said the flight was the farthest north of the demilitarised zone between the Koreas that any US fighter jet or bomber has flown in the 21st Century.
It comes amid heightened tensions between the two countries over Pyongyang's nuclear programme.

Meanwhile, North Korea's foreign minister is due to address the UN.
In a statement, the Pentagon said the flight underscored "the seriousness" with which the US takes North Korea's "reckless" behaviour.
"This mission is a demonstration of US resolve and a clear message that the president has many military options to defeat any threat."
At the UN on Tuesday, President Donald Trump said that he would "totally destroy" North Korea if the US was forced to defend itself or its allies.
Earlier on Saturday, a magnitude 3.4 tremor was detected near North Korea's nuclear test site, sparking fears that the country could have carried out another test. But experts and international nuclear test monitors said they believed it was a natural quake.

This is excellent news potentially. Trump needs to use NK's method back on them. Just small steps of ever amounting aggression. But at some point in the near future we need an actual strike against NK as pay back for Nk's numerous aggressions and insults over the years. The NK regime must be totally humiliated on the world stage.

US President Donald Trump has made new threats against North Korea in response to the country's foreign minister's fiery speech at the UN on Saturday.

Ri Yong-ho described Mr Trump as a "mentally deranged person full of megalomania" on a "suicide mission".
The US president responded by saying Mr Ri and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un "won't be around much longer" if they continue their rhetoric.
The fresh insults came as US bombers flew close to North Korea's east coast.
The Pentagon said the aim was to demonstrate the military options available to the US to defeat any threat.
It said the flight was the farthest north of the demilitarised zone between the Koreas that any US fighter jet or bomber had flown in the 21st Century.
Tensions have risen recently over Pyongyang's nuclear programme.
Despite weeks of angry words, experts have played down the risk of direct conflict between the two. However, there are concerns that the escalating rhetoric could lead to one side misinterpreting the other, with dangerous consequences.
Mr Yong-ho's comments to the General Assembly on Saturday mimicked Mr Trump's remarks at the UN on Tuesday, when he called North Korean leader Kim Jong-un a "rocket man on a suicide mission".
Mr Ri said that "insults" by Mr Trump were an "irreversible mistake making it inevitable" that North Korean rockets would hit the US mainland.
The US president, the foreign minister said, would "pay dearly" for his speech, in which he also said he would "totally destroy" North Korea if the US was forced to defend itself or its allies.
Shortly before his address, the Pentagon announced that the show of force underscored "the seriousness" with which the US took North Korea's "reckless" behaviour, calling the country's weapons programme a "grave threat".
"This mission is a demonstration of US resolve and a clear message that the president has many military options to defeat any threat," it said in a statement.
"We are prepared to use the full range of military capabilities to defend the US homeland and our allies."
US Air Force B-1B Lancer bombers from Guam, escorted by Air Force F-15C Eagle fighters from Okinawa, Japan, flew in international airspace, the Pentagon added.
The flight follows a week of heated rhetoric between the leaders of both countries - after Mr Trump's comments, Mr Kim called him "mentally deranged" and "a dotard".
Mr Ri did not comment on the Pentagon's announcement.
North Korea has refused to stop its missile and nuclear tests, despite successive rounds of UN sanctions. Its leaders say nuclear capabilities are its only deterrent against an outside world seeking to destroy it.
After the North's latest and most powerful nuclear test earlier this month, the UN Security Council approved new sanctions on the country.
But speaking at the UN, Mr Ri repeated that the restrictions would not make the country stop its nuclear development.

This is what happens when one guy with tiny hands gets into a spat with another guy with a small dick.

But really, this is just what happens when a guy like Trump, who is used to business deals where he insults people and then either talks tough to try and intimidate them or get them to roll over, and then suddenly starts praising them to offer them a lifeline, is able to change his speeches and play president. The behavior and rhetoric that served him well as a businessman just doesn't translate in this case since North Korea isn't going to attack anyone, and China won't allow the US to attack NK. The war of words plays into NK's hands.
#14846090
Lets not forget why we've got this problem, it all flows from Commie lover FDRs decision to demand the unconditional surrender of Germany, leaving hundreds of millions as slaves to the Red theocracy, or in NK's case a red absolute monarchy.

Trump is in a no win situation. He is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Kim Jong-un and China knows this and is baiting Trump.
