The best part of this thread and forum for that matter is how much space Trump occupies in your heads. Its obvious threads like this terrify the hypocrites.

1. Franken cracks a joke about Rob Reiner and rape

Franken said during the roast of actor Reiner: "On a typical night, Carl would slip into Rob’s bed, roll him over, swab him down and say something like, ‘I’m thinking about hiring Morey Amsterdam to play Buddy Sorrell, what do you think?’ Well, the success of The Dick Van Dyke Show changed things dramatically. Carl started inviting many of his famous friends to f*** his son."

2. Franken worked on an SNL skit that joked about raping journalists Lesley Stahl and Mike Wallace

During his time as a writer for Saturday Night Live, Franken worked on a skit parodying 60 Minutes' Andy Rooney. And that included suggestions of portraying rape on screen.

The writing process is described in a 1995 New York magazine article:

Norm MacDonald: “So I can say, ‘I don’t know what the pills are for—what I do know is, the bottle is mostly filled with cotton.’”

Franken: “And, ‘I give the pills to Lesley Stahl. Then, when Lesley’s passed out, I take her to the closet and rape her.’ Or, ‘That’s why you never see Lesley until February.’ Or, ‘When she passes out, I put her in various positions and take pictures of her.’”

Jim Downey: “‘Here’s a picture of Ed Bradley.’”

MacDonald: “What if Rooney rapes Mike Wallace? And then says, ‘I guess that makes me bad.’ Is it funnier with a black guy? Or two old white guys?”

Franken: “What about, ‘I drag Mike into my office and rape him. Right here! I guess that makes me bad.’”

Excerpts from Franken's Playboy article

Here are excerpts from Al Franken's article for Playboy magazine published in January of 2000.

The moment Playboy told me I could tackle any subject for its millennium issue, I immediately chose pornography. Now, you may assume I picked pornography because I believe Playboy is pornography. Far from it. Playboy is erotica.

Indeed, if Playboy were pornography, Hugh Hefner would be a pornographer, which he most definitely is not. Hugh Hefner is a sensualist. Larry Flynt is a pornographer. And when I say that, I don't necessarily mean it as a pejorative. (Although I have to admit feeling a little uncomfortable when Flynt and I were on the same side during the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal. So I did some research, and it turns out that Larry Flynt has done some positive things. For example, thanks to Flynt, every sex shop in California is required to have a wheelchair access ramp.)

Now you may be asking: what exactly is the difference between erotic (Playboy) and pornographic (Hustler, Big Butt, Barely Legal)? Thanks to research at the Institute for Pornographic Studies in Northridge, California, scientific techniques have been applied to the study of pornography so that such distinction can be drawn on a totally quantifiable basis. ...

According to IPS, the average Playboy reader spends just 43 percent of his time with each issue masturbating. At Hustler, the figure is 81 percent. Of course, this only applies to Playboy the magazine. The IPS estimates that nearly 98 percent of an average viewer's time while watching Playboy TV is masturbating.

Playboy TV is available only because of the technology that gave us cable television. Since the advent of cable, an ever-accelerating technological revolution has given us an explosion of opportunities to enjoy pornography in our own homes.

I'm talking, of course, about the Internet, which is a terrific learning tool. For example, a couple years ago, when he was 12, my son used the Internet for a sixth grade report on bestiality. Joe was able to download some effective visual aids, which the other students in his class just loved. See, at that age, kids are sponges!

If anything, this technological revolution will accelerate exponentially in the future, which is why the next millennium will be such an exciting time for pornographers and for us, the consumers of pornography. Of course, predicting the future is no easy task, which is why I traveled to Northridge to talk to the futurists at IPS.

I was escorted through the modest single-story cinderblock think tank by IPS senior fellow Dr. Julie DeVine, a futurist trained at MIT, the Minnesota Institute of Titology, which has a controversial doctoral program.

As Dr. DeVine led me to the Future wing of the institute, I couldn't help but notice that she is an extremely attractive blonde with a tight, round ass, legs that won't quit and firm but ample breasts. So ample, in fact, that she received a full scholarship from MIT.

At first, I thought it was my imagination, but when Dr. DeVine escorted me into the virtual reality room, she seemed to be coming on to me. She allowed her bodacious breasts to brush against my face as she lowered me into the prototype of the Virtu-Screw 2000. "How does that feel?" she cooed. I didn't know if she was referring to the Naugahyde bucket seat or to the two erect nipples pushing through her white lab coat and nearly poking my eyes out.

Then Dr. DeVine placed the Virtu-Screw helmet over my head. Sitting in the pitch dark, I felt slightly vulnerable but also excited. She asked me which setting I wanted. Since I've been married 23 years, I naturally chose "blow job." My chair was abruptly tilted backward and I "felt" my pants being unzipped. If I hadn't known I was sitting in the most state-of-the-art virtual reality sex machine, I would've sworn that a real woman's hand had pulled my cock from my pants.

My nervousness disappeared, and I sat back and enjoyed the amazingly realistic cyber job. It was every bit as good as the last real blow job I had gotten 23 years earlier — if not better — because when I shot my wad, the virtual mouth swallowed. ...

Virtual reality sex, Dr. DeVine fears, will become the crack cocaine of the 21st century. Why then was she contributing to the VRS project? She explained that if the U.S. didn't develop the technology first, someone else would, and she shuddered just thinking of VRS in the hands of the Chinese.

I found myself extremely attracted to the vulnerable side of this sexy scientist, and when I offered to comfort her, she accepted, kissing me full on the lips and inserting her tongue into my mouth and moving it around suggestively. Then she reached down and started rubbing my crotch and within just five or ten minutes, my cock was again hard and ready for action. ...

While still rubbing my crotch, Dr. DeVine led me through the Future wing to the Sexbot room. ...

The most current Sexbot prototype, Connie, while quite attractive, has moving parts made of plastic and metal alloys considered quite dangerous. In fact, as a futurist, Dr. DeVine believes that the first Sexbots to hit the market will result in class-action suits filed by severely injured men.

That's why Dr. DeVine urged me to forgo Connie and introduced me to Wilhelmina, a beautiful young German-born researcher who, while human, most closely approximates the Sexbot of the 22nd century. Wilhelmina escorted me to a private room with a bed and removed her clothes. If this is what Sexbots will look like a hundred years from now, I envy my great-great-grandsons. We made passionate love for two or three minutes before being joined by Dr. DeVine, who wanted to make the point that Sexbots will be used for threesomes.

I could describe the incredible sex the three of us had, but this is a piece of journalism about the future of pornography and not one of those cheesy letters from a horny reader. Suffice it to say that everyone came several times, except me, who came only once. ...

As I thanked Dr. DeVine, she again rubbed my crotch and asked me to tell readers tours of the institute are available for $500.

Women. I get how hard it is to come forward. It sucks that there are consequences for that kind of thing. But until you do come forward right away, men will, rightly or wrongly, look very questioningly at your allegations. You may have to pay a price for doing it but generations to follow will thank you.

One of the consequences of the conversations resulting from the Cosby, Weinstein, Moore etc situation is, although it's a little late in the day, these are being reported by grown women who have enough experience to know what's right and what's wrong, and the language to report these events. I am reminded 2 of the first 4 women to report on Moore said they were initially flattered by his attention, but over time, they grew uncomfortable with it.

I would hate to be a teen today, and have to deal with this "Facebook shaming" on top of everything else.

So every pretty much every liberal media presenter is running cover for Al Franken by using 1) mock groping excuse 3) but what about Roy Moore 3) it's just a prank bro excuse or 4) he apologized for his behavior and thus should not be in the same category of Roy Moore

Meanwhile on Twitter, people suffering from Roy Moore derangement syndrome are desperately trying to claim that the photo was staged. I might buy into that because why was Franken not in kevlar and fatigues and Leeann Tweeden was. My first thought was that everyone was sleeping and Franken and the photographer were coked out of their minds.

But there is no no evidence that they were high on coke and no verification that the photo was staged.

Also, someone who is confused between consensual and non-consensual contact has dug up a photo of Tweeden exchanging gropes with another entertainer. People are trying to slut-shame Tweeden and seemingly suggesting that she was asking for it.

Melanie Morgan: Al Franken harassed me after TV appearance

http://www.breitbart.com/big-hollywood/ ... ob-reiner/

Democratic Senator and former Hollywood comedian Al Franken has been accused of groping various women. And there is photographic evidence against him. But this didn’t stop ‘The View’s’ Joy Behar, from defending him. Even though a photo of him groping her has been spreading around the internet.

“It was disappointing to hear this about Al Franken. I can’t back Al. He’s a very funny comedian, he was during this time. He’s a senator from Minnesota. He’s a great advocate for women. It’s just so disappointing. Men of all different stripes are out there doing crazy sh*t,” said Behar. After calling Franken a ‘great advocate for women’ Behar also tried to demean the woman who accused him, saying the photo of him groping her was a joke.“

Rule #1: You cannot be more offended than the victim.

Al Franken, as well as being a politician, has been a comedian. He made jokes. Now he has to apologize for some of those "jokes" and the harm they did, He did not kiddy-fiddle 14 year old girls, however.

Comparing inappropriate conduct with an adult, to sexual conduct with children, is a FALSE EQUIVALENCY.

The amount of ignorance about Hollywood, and the hypocrisy, is hilarious, since even two of the Presidents were Republican Hollywood stars - Reagan and Trump.

But hey, go on believing that idiocy if you want to! :knife:

So you think it is fine for comedians to paw and sexually harass women. That sounds sick to me.
#14864097
I never said it was. You don't actually read what I post, do you?

Humour is subjective. If a woman gets "pawed" and the man later has to pay for this sexually inappropriate conduct, then too bad. Some jokes are taken the wrong way, or can be offensive.

I will not defend the conduct. I will say, however, that sexually rude things are often used in comedy. Many comedians use this, but if the woman/man is actually harmed in some way, then it's gone too far, and someone has to pay for it.

Franken's actions, while rude and inappropriate, were not done to children, thankfully. Also, Franken has apologized, and had his apology accepted by the person he wronged. That's something.

Al Franken has then gone further to have an ethics inquiry into his behavior. That sounds like someone who is at least remorseful for their actions.

"Sounds like" or "looks like" is not enough. Sufficient facts are necessary.

What part of ETHICS INVESTIGATION don't you understand? Do you have poor reading comprehension, or are you just not reading all the post?

What does Jeff Sessions have to do with anything? He's a total twat. I couldn't care less about what he says, about anything.

What's happening to Moore will probably not be enough to convict him, but it should be enough that the GOP will see that he's not the person they want representing them, and that he'll lose the election. That's fitting.

I can read and understand, but I also like to see and hear the evidence to be sure I understand the evidence and that it all agrees. Jeff Sessions is the United States Attorney General, a very important person when it comes to law.

I agree that there is not enough to convict Moore of anything at this point, because Gloria Allred refuses to release the yearbook for forensic examination.

Yeah, I knew the GOP did not want him before. since he could not be depended on to vote the party line. However, the people of Alabama will decide that with their vote. Praise the Lord.

Stormsmith wrote:Again, the woman, Leeann something consented to practising the skit. This was conscentual. He couldn't have known she didn't want to if she agreed to it. Crikey some people are tricky thickest

His actual tongue in her mouth type kiss was not consensual and she said she was angry with him because he betrayed her trust. I explained this before. Do you want me to look up and post the video of her interview on this subject.

Right, and he has to face the music for that. Betraying trust isn't illegal, but it is a scummy thing to do.

Do you understand that no one here is defending his actions? Those are his actions, and he has to pay for them... good or bad. If an apology is sufficient for the person wronged, then lucky him.

Thankfully, this was not with children, who could not give consent.

I think she should take some of the responsibility for this. She could have continued to say no.

And, for the record, if a French kiss is the worst experience of her life, she's got off v light.

Apparently you did not look at the video of her interview on CNN. How you could blame her for what Franken did to her is sick. It was a very emotional and shameful experience to her. Sure, she should have slapped the hell out of him, but that was not her at that time. Franken believes he can just apologize and everything will be find for him, that is what is shameful.

Horse feathers

She rattled on and on about Franken wanting to practise a scene with a kiss. Big woo. She claimed to say no several times

Then she said yes, to shut him up.

Then, after she concented, he kissed her. A poor, French kiss on a mature women well past the age of concent who gave concent. Again, big woo. I doubt she'll require therapy. I have no idea why she told anyone this tale except to get on TV or to tank one of the most effective senators you have. But this is nothing like taking a fourteen year old, stripping her down to her knickers and bra, and fondling her until she was so frighten she asked to be taken home

And if you're this weak in the pants, you need help. Especially if you're this upset for the woman being kissed and this dismissive of all those girls including the one who was fondled because she was too young to give concent and he, a DA, bloody well knew it. You really do have problems
