I made an error and admitted to it, so you don't have a be a cunt about it.

I am not incorrect about the scope of the investigation. You just ignore it because it's not something you like, because they're getting close to trump and you fucking know it.

One Degree wrote:Please keep up with the actual charges and punishment.
You need to do that. You are quite obviously not paying attention, as there are numerous charges against numerous people involved.

Here's everyone who has been charged and convicted in Mueller's Russia probe so far

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort was found guilty on eight federal counts of bank and tax fraud and pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice and one count of conspiracy against the US.

In October 2017, Gates was indicted along with Manafort on 12 counts, including conspiracy against the US, making false statements, and failing to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts. He at first pleaded not guilty on all counts.

On the same day Mueller's office announced the indictments of Manafort and Gates, it was revealed that George Papadopoulos, a 30-year-old former Trump adviser, had pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russia.

Flynn, who has reportedly been at the center of Mueller's investigation for months, is perhaps the most high-profile person to be indicted to date.

On December 1, 2017, he pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his conversations last December with Russia's ambassador to the US at the time, Sergey Kislyak.

An indictment filed by Mueller's office said Flynn "falsely stated" on December 29, 2016 that he did not ask Kislyak "to refrain from escalating the situation in response to sanctions that the United States had imposed against Russia that same day," and that Flynn did not recall Kislyak "subsequently telling him that Russia had chosen to moderate its response to those sanctions as a result of his request."

On February 16, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced the indictments of 13 Russian citizens and three companiesallegedly involved in meddling in the US political system.

"The defendants allegedly conducted what they called 'information warfare against the United States' with the stated goal of spreading distrust towards the candidates and the political system in general," Rosenstein said.

So you are either not paying attention or being purposefully stupid.

Anyone who actually gave a shit about the USA would want their leaders to NOT be criminals. I guess Trump's cultists simply don't care, because they're too brain-washed, and can't support something that might threaten their criminal leader.

Zagadka wrote:Less concerned about there being "no collusion", more concerned with the dozens of indictments on other charges.

Most of those indictments were on Russians, with no evidence of collusion with anyone on Trump's campaign. Those few indictment that concerned Trump associates had nothing to do with Russian collusion to influence the election either. The only one that concerned Trump was his former lawyer, who paid a porn star to keep quite because she claimed to have had sex with Trump.

:knife: You really don't read, do you? Paul Manafort was a Trump campaign chairman. That is someone who was on Trump's campaign.

jimjam wrote:SAN FRANCISCO — A Kremlin-backed group of internet trolls that meddled in the 2016 presidential election appeared to be trying to influence American voters using Facebook days ahead of the midterm elections, the social network said Tuesday night.

I'm sure Robert Mueller could come to PoFo and see how many non-Americans there are here regularly trying to influence Americans about how to vote and which politicians to trust or distrust. Facebook is just realizing that after 2 years? By the way, is there a crime alleged here?

Godstud wrote:The investigations by Republicans into benghazi were picked up by the people. You certainly didn't care about wasting their time on an investigation when it was in your interests. :knife: Get a grip.

They were not criminal investigations; although, Hillary Clinton's stonewalling and destruction of emails turned it into a criminal matter when she defied the Congressional subpoena.

Godstud wrote:Note: Meuller's a REPUBLICAN.

So is Drlee. Why does that matter so much to you? If you think Republicans are all scum, that's tantamount to calling him scum anyway.

Godstud wrote:Trump and you just don't like him because he's likely an honest and moral person, who will discover the truth thru investigation and expose Trump for the total cunt that he is.

Frankly, I don't think that Trump colluded with the Russians to get elected in 2016. Additionally, I think it is absurd that such a circumstance, if it did in fact occur, could be said to have definitively changed how people voted. Congress can regulate commerce, but not speech.

Godstud wrote:Anyone who actually gave a shit about the USA would want their leaders to NOT be criminals.

Everybody is a criminal Godstud. That's what a plethora of laws makes of citizens. When the law is concise, there is often a high intersection beteween what is legal and what is moral. When the law is verbose, law and morality are very distant cousins at best.

Godstud wrote:You don't ignore crimes while you are investigating another crime, and these crimes are linked to scope of the investigation.

Mueller didn't pay his taxes 10 years ago. That has nothing to do with the 2016 election.

MistyTiger wrote:Jr is scared if rumors can be believed.

What difference can Jr being afraid make to any of this? He hasn't committed any crimes.

Godstud wrote:You are quite obviously not paying attention, as there are numerous charges against numerous people involved.

None of that has to do with Russians colluding with the Trump campaign.

Godstud wrote:Paul Manafort was a Trump campaign chairman. That is someone who was on Trump's campaign.

Yes. We are aware he didn't pay his taxes 10 years ago.

Yes, I read and watch and listen to the news on Television and radio too. Manafort was not charged with collusion with Russia to meddle in the 2016 elections.

I am smart enough to know they don't have the evidence on Russian collusion or they would have charged him on it. HalleluYah.

You are probably right but, unlike you, Mueller has not shared his unannounced findings with me. But …… what Mueller has done is reveal a small portion of the crooks and human scum that Donald hangs with in his portable swamp and, as you know, birds of a feather flock together …… Halleluyah!!!!!

Where are these Mueller findings that are so important he had to announce right before the election they would be released after the election?

I don't know. Why don't you ask him. You and Hindsite seem to have an inside track to his information.

As I said, even if nothing at all is yet to be revealed, he has already demonstrated what a human cesspool Donald lived in.

Hey 1 Degree, I know pofo is habit forming but i'm getting a bit worried about how much time you spend here. I'm guessing you don't have a wife monitoring your life.

No, she died 10 years 10 months ago. I am not a believer in wasting time. Time is. How We spend it is basically meaningless. I currently choose Pofo as my distraction. Ignore me if that bothers you. I don’t believe my post was addressed to you anyway.
I spent 2 years gambling everyday because I wanted to. I spent 17 years teaching until I no longer wanted to. I spent 15 years making concrete ornaments until I no longer wanted to. A few months on Pofo is nothing.
I love the idea I get to choose what I want to do and never feel I am wasting time. :)

No no, my comment was tongue in cheek (which doesn't show well in a chat room). I usually disagree with you but think you are cool. Yes, it is a fascinating life. It has taken me from Woodstock 1969 to jogging in Red Square and, in 4 days, to Havana...…….. and about 3 or 4 brushes with death in between.

I did consider possible reasons for your comment. My comments about ignoring me were also meant to be taken different ways based upon the purpose of your comment. :)
The rest was just me not passing up an opportunity to pontificate.

Like I said, it should not be this difficult to find serious violations against any billionaire. Their effort to do so speaks highly of Trump. He has impressed me with more integrity than I gave him credit for.

Sure, I've been observing the worse Trump turns out to be the more devoted his core base become, but it won't deliver a second term for him.

I don’t think it is possible to anger Americans into an armed revolt anymore, but impeaching Trump might be the thing to prove me wrong. Democrats are seriously underestimating the simmering resentment of their authoritarian methods. They won’t tolerate much longer being told Los Angeles and New York decide how we all must live. It is at a tipping point now, but if Democrats keep pushing ‘legality through political bias’ over ‘what people want’ there will be hell to pay.

This is true for the 40% of the nation that Donald represents but does not hold water for the 60% that he does not represent.

America is becoming increasingly divided between "poor" rural areas and "rich" metropolitan areas. Unequal distribution of wealth is powering this divide and as wealth continues to be held in fewer and fewer hands the divide will increase …….. much to Donald's advantage as he is super adept at stoking the hatred of the disenfranchised. And, yes, hell will be eventually paid by the entire 100% not just 40% or 60%.
