Disgusting egos …. and pathetic. The good news is that they are all dead but ………. there always seems to be a new crop rising up from the slime like Obese Donald.
I agree that their primary characteristic is their addiction and thirst for power and total disregard for losers like you and I but …. they never seem to have enough money.
Sivad wrote:I agree with everything you wrote except this, it's not about money with these people, it's about power. Philip K Dick summed it up nicely in The Man in the High Castle:
“They want to be the agents, not the victims, of history. They identify with God's power and believe they are godlike. That is their basic madness. They are overcome by some archtype; their egos have expanded psychotically so that they cannot tell where they begin and the godhead leaves off. It is not hubris, not pride; it is inflation of the ego to its ultimate.."
And Karl Rove confirmed Dick's insight when he stated:
"We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors … and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do."
