Your avatar is probably not going to agree with you, because China is the pioneer in this movement, and your avatar hates it.

1. Would you want to see pofo nationalised? Which nation-state would get it?

2. Same for youtube or facebook? Which nations get them? They are used internationally. If they get reduced to being a propaganda organ for a particular nation state you can expect the majority of the userbase, especially the non-Usians, to dump the platform for something politically neutral.

Patrikov- The Nazis wore shoes therefore wearing shoes is bad.

Solar Cross- No need to nationalise tiny sights like Pofo since there are millions of them and if you don't like one you can switch to another.

I doubt many people will dump Facebook if it is nationalised. It already is a propaganda organ, the private sector is deeply embedded into the gov't in America and the BBC is respected despite being a gov't organ.

6. Centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the state. - Communist Manifesto

Yup that will include even tiny sites like pofo. Watch out @noemon because AFAIK is scheming to expropriate you.

The BBC was supposedly independent, the govs just collected money for them. Funnily enough that just meant that the platform became open to infiltration by creepy fabians. In this way the public have been forced to subsidise a creepy cult bent on their enslavement and degradation. People increasingly realise that the BBC is a bit fishy actually.

So you want the big social medias taken over by the US gov? Is that to protect the freedom of speech of BPS and others or prevent them having it with greater surety as per the communist manifesto?

Those fabians were creepy, they were rabid eugenicists trying to establish an "aristocratic socialism". :knife: They undertook the long march through the institutions decades before the new left got in on the act. And that elitist shit is still alive and well on the progressive left in the form of carbon despotism, industrial education, and the big government welfare state.

Volkswagen, Autobahns, Anti-smoking campaign are all advocated by Hitler. Even the animal rights movement should give some credits to him.

About the idea you suggested, I am effectively neutral and only worry for the technical practicality. I merely stated that you are making a statement seems to be the contrary of your avatar's belief, which is a bit ironic.

In the 2000s when video sharing websites and social media started becoming popular there was no real political radicalisation. Since the 2010s, however, we're seeing more radicalisation. Social media and video sharing outfits are obviously concerned that their platforms could become forums to spread these types of ideas.

See, this does make sense, but I think that we would not even necessarily have to privatize them, but to simply come up with definitions that made it so any large platform that provides resources to people to share their ideas indiscriminately on a "platform" (different from a closed forum meant for the interaction of the whole website) must respect the first amendment rights of anyone that comes.

Ultimately, a political forum is a place for us to discuss things as a group, but YouTube or Facebook is a place for other people to create their own spaces and areas of discussion that they themselves facilitate, right.
