Trump can be self-effacing too, even when he's calling someone else fat. Get a load of this one (teed up 36 seconds in for you, so you don't have to lose those 36 seconds watching other funny Trump stuff):

HalleluYah
I didn't sleep well last night, so I took a nap while I had YouTube on. This line above woke me up laughing. Self-effacing, but funny. Like I said, he's a comic genius.
It's clear that the establishment's strategy is to try to get Trump voters to dislike Trump, because they clearly will lose running on the Green New Deal, open borders, etc. that the DNC front runners assented to recently. That's going to make a great campaign commercial. Today's Democrats seriously think banning airline travel is a good idea.
Yet, never Trumpers just don't understand why they are losing to him at all:
Why thousands of Americans come together to hear Trump speakTrump has already neutralized Marianne Williamson...
Having started on trust, he ends on love.
“Our movement is built on love, and it is, and we love our family. We love our faith. We love our flag, and we love our freedom, and that’s what it’s about.”
“You really feel he’s talking to you,” says Nick Isgro, 38, who drove almost three hours from Waterville, Maine, with his 14-year-old son.
“He’s the most powerful man in the world, yet he doesn’t feel out of reach. He feels like he’s one of us.”
This is Trump’s secret sauce, which his antagonists can’t feel because they hate him so.
I think we can safely say that @jimjam didn't drive three hours to listen to Trump. The disconnect is even bigger than in 2016. The guy is like a rockstar, and the media frankly doesn't get it at all.
The audience this night are patriots, veterans, moms and dads wearing “Trump 2020 F–k Your Feelings” and “Proud to be a Deplorable” T-shirts, American-flag boots and MAGA hats, as baby boomer anthems from AC/DC and the Rolling Stones whip them into a lather of excitement not seen since the last WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
"Trump 2020
Fuck Your Feelings"?
That's a crowd that knows exactly how the never Trumpers feel about them and the feeling is mutual. There is frankly no amount of shame or derision the establishment can deploy to move these people against Trump. I'm calling it now: the "White Supremacist" thread is going to be even worse for them than Russiagate. They are going to lose even more white voters.

It's about love. Trump said so.
"We have put together the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics."
