I don't believe I've ever encountered someone who writes so much, yet says so little...

Breaking what law? A criminal defendant has a right to know the nature and cause of the charges against him. Nobody has identified a single section of the United States Code or Code of Federal Regulations that the president has supposedly violated. Why? You don't have evidence to establish the elements of an offense, and you know it.

We recognize Russia's government. Back channel communications are not illegal at all. The US has a long history of back channel communications with Russians. Think "Cuban Missile Crisis." You seem to think that what you disagree with is somehow automatically illegal or improper. It's not.

I'm 95% sure that you are wrong there.
It is against the law for a private citizen to negotiate with foreign agents, etc; unless they are authorized by the Gov.
This has come up before {many years ago} with regards to US/Israel.

Try 100%.

Private citizens can't do diplomacy unless authorised by the president.

The law also requires anyone in a campaign that was contacted by a foreign entity to report that to the FBI. The Trump campaign had dozens of meetings that they lied about hundreds of times. Lying to the FBI is also a crime.

It gets worse. No president has ever obstructed Congress, in the performance of it's duty, anywhere close to what Trump is doing. It screams guilt, they are hiding something, and you don't bet the farm to hide something unless revealing it would be even worse. The FBI calls it consciousness of guilt.

If Trump authorizes Giuliani to represent him, that's fine. Additionally, nobody has ever been prosecuted for violating the Logan Act of 1799. It is believed to be unconstitutional.

Giuliani is Trump's attorney.

Giuliani is not a campaign employee.

This was before Trump was president.

If a prosecutor gets to open this case, he will have plenty of options.

 It well might be, but who cares what these nonsense laws say. Look its sometimes amusing to look up what the constitution actually says. Its sometimes amusing to play the game of what did they actually mean. But at the end of the day no one really cares. Its like these absurd laws that foreigners are now allowed to try and influence the outcome of American elections, of course foreigners are going to interfere and there's jack all you can do about it. This was true before the internet. It should be obvious now.

Of course candidates are going to negotiate with foreign powers. But really, just think about it do you really think we're going to be taking lectures on negotiations with foreign governments from the supporters of crooked Hilary or Joe Come to Daddy, Biden?

Nobody really knows how Epstein became a billionaire either. He seems to have led a charmed life since dropping out of college, being helped along his way in life for no apparent reason by powerful, wealthy patrons. The fact that he was a rampant pedophile and sexual enslaver of young women may have been simply a coincidence. Who can say...? :eh:
