2020 is shaping up to be even crazier and more fun than 2016, and I didn't think that could be possible.

Vote For Me You Lying Racist! illustrates how the leading Democrats have already destroyed their 2020 chances.

Joe Biden wrote:You’re a damn liar, man. That’s not true and no one has ever said that.… Look, the reason I’m running is because I’ve been around a long time and I know more than most people and I can get things done. And you want to check my shape? Let’s do push-ups together man, let’s run, let’s do whatever you wanna do.…

That's how you get people to vote for you...

A couple of weeks earlier at a South Carolina Democratic event, immigration activist Carlos Rojas Rodriguez reminded Biden that many thousands of families had been separated while he was vice president. Biden interrupted him by barking, “You should vote for Trump.” This motivated Rodriguez to write in the Nation that this attitude had eroded his faith in the Democratic Party. The dangers of such behavior toward voters are evidently lost on the former VP.

It's hard to believe, but Biden is even worse than Hillary Clinton as a candidate. He insults voters right to their faces.

Booty Judge wrote:Anyone who supported this President is at best looking the other way on racism — at best.

Of course, that would include Martin Luther King III and MLK Jr's niece, Kanye West, Herschel Walker, Mike Tyson, Dennis Rodman, etc. How is it that these people cannot do a rational analysis of Donald Trump and why the collateral attacks on his personality failed utterly? Like Trump, they'd be better off without high-priced consultants that are too far removed from the American people to really have a pulse on the nation.

The irony of this claim is that the South Bend mayor enjoys far less support among non-whites than does Trump.

Don't count on a single Democrat to be aware of this fact.

When Sen. Kamala Harris finally dropped out of the race, she querulously claimed that the fault lay with the nation rather than her own shortcomings. She seems to believe she failed because of what she labeled the donkey in the room, elaborating with this question: “Is America ready for that? Are they ready for a woman of color to be president?” In other words, she was unable to overcome the racism and sexism that remains endemic to a country that twice elected a black man president, and whose 2016 popular vote went to a female presidential candidate.

It's awesome. It's not even 2020 yet (although very close) and the Democrats are already melting down.

Indeed, he would be wise to consider this: Donald Trump is by no means above hurling insults at Democrats, journalists, bureaucrats, socialists, ad infinitum. Yet he has never been dumb enough to insult the customer.

However, behind all that sanctimoniousness, that's how establishment Democrats really feel about the electorate. It's a sincere contempt.

1) Absolutely, an impeached president and his cult? That is genuinely nuts.

2) Biden is pretty bad at campaigning at this level. Not as bad as Hillary, but not good enough, in my estimation.

3) Ironic, you complaining about a lack of rational analysis...

4) It's a campaign, you silly wabbit. You start with a crowd of candidates and winnow it down to one. Participate in one (that has a bunch of candidates trying to get the nomination) sometime. It's a hell of an experience. You'd love it, lots of dirty tricks and under the table maneuvering.

5) Amazingly, you are partially correct. What we used to call The Establishment used to run the Republican party. Now they run the Dem party. I call them the corporate wing of the party, or DINOs, and other, less charitable monickers. Biden is the leader of that group.

Anyway.. that's not the Progressives. If you look at the entire career of Liz Warren, it starts with her paying attention to the little guy, and progresses to her helping regular people, the best she can.

It starts off with her faking herself as an American Indian. She's the flag bearer for Liberal hypocrisy. She's the flag bearer for Cultural Marxism. Cultural Marxism is a relentless attack on WIGs (White Infidel Gentiles). WIGs are now massively under represented at America's top universities, with people of Jewish decent occupying up to 25% of the top university places.

But most Cultural Marxists are White? The majority of Cultural Marxists are WIGs? Yes and although they relentlessly attack White privilege, Infidel privilege and Gentile bigotry, of course they don't want to lose out themselves. Its like the Holywood starlets that jet around the world lecturing the rest of us on our carbon foot print.

Rich, your text reads of those found scribbled on walls in mental institutions. Please go and see a doctor, mmm'kay?

As a 'not really lefty but somewhat lefty', a Warren / Buttigieg ticket seems the most drinkable poison of the bunch.

Apparently it starts with you lying. She believed what her family told her. That form wasn't used to gain some personal advantage, contrary to what extremists say.

Her career started with groundbreaking research into bankruptcy.

Cultural Marxism is nasty:

"Cultural Marxism," described as a conspiratorial attempt to wreck American culture and morality, is the newest intellectual bugaboo on the radical right. Surprisingly, there are signs that this bizarre theory is catching on in the mainstream.

Right-wing ideologues, racists and other extremists have jazzed up political correctness and repackaged it — in its most virulent form, as an anti-Semitic theory that identifies Jews in general and several Jewish intellectuals in particular as nefarious, communistic destroyers."

You ever read any of those guys?? Of course you haven't, but I have. That's called the Frankfurt School, and I am having some trouble seeing her as one of them. Warren is a Progressive, and the one thing she appears to have in common with them is an interest in reform. Problem is, she is firmly in the American Progressive tradition, that includes guys like TR and FDR.

You need to remember she used to be Republican.....

MY advice is to back away from the crazy.

You can't even name a violation of the United States Code or Code of Federal Regulations in a country where you can cite people for jaywalking. The Democrats have nothing. This is just free advertisting for Donald Trump.

He's taking advice from jimjam and calling voters fat. I could be wrong, but I don't think that's going to be a winning strategy.

Trump is a known quantity. You don't get to define someone who is known. You can only shape first impressions against unknown personas.

The Republicans had 17 in 2016. The Democrats only had two. I'm familiar with the experience.

Say goodbye to 90% of blacks voting for Democrats with high turnout.

How many Native Americans do you know with blue eyes and blond hair? I know one, and she's only 1/8th Native American--doesn't look it at all.

Apparently, it was. Affirmative action applies to Native Americans too.

So did Hillary Clinton. She and Drlee campaigned for Barry Goldwater...

Yesterday I gave you an excerpt from the Harvard Law Review. In the most charitable light I would have to say you were wrong. But we both know there is an intent behind your prevarication.

You may be "familiar with the experience", but you didn't learn from it.

Apparently not..

Rich was saying she was some sort of commie radical. Which is nuts.

Warren is campaigning on Medicare for all. That's an extreme position. Medicare is single payer, and it's constantly on the verge of bankruptcy. Until the US makes health pricing transparent and introduces market forces, medical inflation will ensure that single-payer is not feasible in the United States. Warren is also yammering on about a green new deal too. She was a Republican as of 1996, and seemed to know how to thread the needle. Like many Democrats, she was taken under the bleachers by AOC and crew and is now too extreme for the electorate. Her position on wealth taxes has spurred people like Mike Bloomberg to enter the race--probably not to win, but to scuttle the Democrats chances.

And this is exactly what is wrong. Although I am fine with either of them personally a great many Americans are not. This grouping refuses to confront the number one reason for Trump's win against Hillary. (Not his primary opponents who, with the exception of yet another Bush were a gallery of the absurd.) The number one issue facing the democrats is a decade or two of masterful gerrymandering. If the democrats are to win in the Electoral College they have to go after Joe Tentpeg. They have to peel off voters who are conservative in key districts. Will Warren/Buttigeig do this? I am doubtful.

This is why this election is so puzzling to me. All the democrats had to do was find and run a centrist candidate. They can, through super delegates make sure their man won. Or, if they really want Warren; that she and her-straight-male-Christian running mate won. But no. They had to run as far to the left as they can and this will, with the free publicity of this botched impeachment, pretty much hand the election to Trump. Certainly control of the Senate because this impeachment debacle will give incumbent Trump supporters in contested districts the opportunity to vote to impeach in limited numbers thereby removing their opponents' ability to paint them with him.

Look at my own state of Arizona. Sen Martha McSally(R) is looking like she is in trouble for election. She is associated with Trump right down the line. If she could be allowed to vote for impeachment she would stroll to victory in this bright red state. What are the republican voters here to do? Vote for the democrat? Right. Stay home in large numbers during a presidential election year? Right.

So did Hillary Clinton. She and Drlee campaigned for Barry Goldwater...

We sure did. And would do it again. What we knew about Goldwater was that he was a real conservative. He wanted smaller government, a balanced budget, a strong military and to keep the government out of our bedrooms. He would win in a landslide today.

In 1963 Goldwater said of the environment:

“Our job,” he said, “is to prevent that lush orb known as the Earth . . . from turning into a bleak and barren, dirty brown planet.” Another quote that may surprise you: “I feel very definitely that the administration is absolutely correct in cracking down on companies and corporations and municipalities that continue to pollute the nation’s air and water.” “Although,” he continued, “I am a great believer in the free, competitive enterprise system and all that it entails, I am an even stronger believer in the right of our people to live in clean and pollution-free environments.”

Whether man will be able to curb his taste for material luxury?”

“Will man bring himself to accept a substitute for the internal combustion engine, if that proves necessary, or at least a more expensive, less efficient fuel?”

“Will man be willing to restrict the consumption of electrical power until a safe and nonpolluting source of production can be found?”

Imagine a republican saying that today. Hell. Imagine a democrat saying that today.

Only in lala land..

Only if the entire government is on the edge of bankruptcy, which it isn't. This may be Republicans favorite trick. Throw a monkey wrench (usually more than one) and then whine that there is a problem.

Nearly any country can have single payer. Britain spends half what we do, they have it. Costa Rica has single payer, and they are poor. What they can afford is modest, but they have it...

Health care economists say market forces would make things worse. They are correct.

Jeremy Corbyn was just jumping on a story that they had to treat a kid on the floor at the NHS, because there were no beds.

As I pointed out, even poor countries like Costa Rica can have single payer. So not only was my point accurate, you were, once again, wrong.

The Right in Britain loves creating problems and then using them as a political football. Although rugby might make a better metaphor than soccer.

We wouldn't want to go as cheap as Britain currently is. But simply taking insurance out of the equation would save over 20%. American health care is the most expensive in the world, but still headed for disaster. Oooops...

I'm right. The US cannot do it unless the US establishes absolutely ruthless price controls.

We don't want single payer in the US. We like private health care better.

late wrote:But simply taking insurance out of the equation would save over 20%.

The NHS has more administrators than providers. It's not cheap.

Not my health plan. Mine's awesome.

Trump insults voters all the time.

Mexicans, and some Mexicans can vote in US elections, are “rapists” and “criminals”.

Haitian-Americans and Jamaican-Americans come from shitholes.

Rosie O’Donnell is a voter, I believe.

He once called Iowa voters “stupid”.

Et cetera.

But since these are the same people that many Trump supporters wish they could also insult with impunity, this is a winning strategy for Trump.
