I have no reason to support the working class

You are working and saving cash. And you think you have no reason to support the working class. YOU ARE WORKING CLASS. Don't be a parasite hanging on your fathers coatstring.

Yeah but its temporary my problem with socialists is that they want to take too much tax cash from self employed persons
I dont plant to be a salary employee in the future

I support universal healthcare and subsided education but high taxes and high minimum wages are not good for free market

When did you first notice you were that way inclined, ZN? Was it when you refused to play out with all the other boys of your age because they were too rough and lower-class? Did you spend all your time at home listening to Haydn string quartets and Noel Coward songs? Just curious.... :eh:

problem is I spend too much money on stupid shit

Nobody ever became a millionaire by saving up their pocket money, ZN. Just look at Jeffrey Epstein - he spent money like water, and the more he spent, the more he had. The trick is to spend other people's money rather than your own. In that respect, millionaires are the biggest socialists out there. Lol. ;)

According to Heyek, government full stop isn't good for the free market. Although tax is just one of those things you pay. Do you think it is the Commies who tax the rednecks in Texas?

Also Socialism takes many forms. You make out that Corbyn wanted a Soviet Republic when all he wanted to do was return Britain to how it looked in the 70s. He certainly wasn't against the free market. Just tax avoidance.

Corbyn planned taxes on the middle class and high income class this will hurt the economy because prices will rise and competition will decline
He embraced Chavez called terrorist groups his friend and he want Britain to basically give up on nukes
Corbyn is a security threat

Well he didn't plan on taxing the middle class at all actually. Just the top 5%. And he wanted to prevent tax avoidance. In fact the reason the IFS didn't think Corbyns manifesto was sustainable was because he didn't want to tax the middle class and also wanted to maintain high spending. Which included Trident. So I don't know why you think he wanted to give up the UKs nukes.

Corbyn wanted to reverse Thatcherism and return the UK into where it was in the 70s. As for Chavez he was loved in Venezuela and was elected there. Do you not support that or something?

No @Zionist Nationalist the problem is you're [edit] to recognize where your class interests lie. I hope the US doesn't have the same showing @Potemkin's country had. What a disappointment.

He planned to tax those with income of 80K pounds and above its alot of people
this is not the 5%

No Chavez was a moron his economic policies is what led to the mess Venezuela is in today
the people were manipulated because they were desperate and indeed Chavez did good things but all his policies are short term successful on long term it turned out very bad

You are a (elementary?) school teacher of course you gonna support socialism all my teachers supported socialist leftist parties aswell because you want to benefit from the state which will take its money from High and middle classes because socialism is eventually all about good ideas but very bad execution

I know. And then there were all those big rallies and so many people said they like Corbyn!

There's actually an old lesson here:

Rancid wrote:What would it take for Scotland to separate from the Kingdom?

The UK government would have to grant a referendum and Scotland would have to vote in favour of independence. Very doubtful that the Tories will agree to another referendum so soon after the last one.

This is coming to a head sooner than later. It will be interesting to see how the Tories will manage this situation.

It very much will unfortunately. I am convinced America is dumb enough to give this a second go with Trump.

They'll say that at the very least Brexit needs to be sorted out first and that they were not voted in to deliver another divisive referendum and subsequent upheaval that would make the situation even more complicated. Since they are unionists anyway, they have a good case in my view.

I'm also sure I'm not alone in thinking that meeting the SNP in good faith on a referendum, after the position they took in the last three years, should be very low on the Tory's priority list.

All the Dems have to do is be a middle of the road, centre left party that does not take for granted, disrespect or outright disdain many of the people it needs to win, but their coalition is now such that this might no longer be possible. So yes, Trump has a good chance to get a second term. I'd probably vote for him if I was American.

The gloating celebrations from the likes of Tommy Robinson, Katie Hopkins and various Blairite ghouls should be an indicator that the bad guys won this election.

Personally, I'm pro-Brexit, so I'm not sad to see the die-hard remainers get a kicking. But the Tory campaign - even more than usual - was a masterclass in weaponised racism, thuggery and barefaced lying. It's sad to see it rewarded so richly.

Honestly though, it was darkly funny seeing the likes of Alastair Campbell and David Aaronovitch pretend to be "angry" at the Labour defeat, having spent the last four years gleefully taking part in the character assassination of Jeremy Corbyn.

If my Honourable Friend is pro-Brexit surely he should have a hand in this "bad-guy wins" scenario, if not being a "bad guy" himself?

Don't worry, I also regard myself a bad guy in this case. Not only I am pro-Brexit, I also feel the sadistic satisfaction from the results, although I think it is rather cheap to gloat about it, as I believe it is not the end of the story.

Patrickov wrote:If my Honourable Friend is pro-Brexit surely he should have a hand in this "bad-guy wins" scenario, if not being a "bad guy" himself?

Absolutely not. I'm pro-Brexit, but it isn't my main priority and I would vastly prefer a left-wing Brexit to the hard-right, disaster capitalist shit show the Tories are offering.

I will simply never accept the courting of neo-Nazi street thugs like Tommy Robinson as an acceptable way to campaign - nor the shameless, relentless lying about everything from minor events to key parts of the Brexit deal. The latter was also, ridiculously, enabled by servile "journalists" like Laura Kuenssberg and Robert Peston.

Coming after years of the "hostile environment" and the Windrush scandal, the Tories are taking Britain down a very dark path. It gives me serious doubts about moving back to the UK with my (Indian) girlfriend once she's finished her studies in the US.
