Yes, police threats are up there with John violence.
Fucking prostituted women does not = "sex", nor is sex a human need, insofar as you're not owed it nor will you die from not having sex, whereas you will by not eating. Not that fucking prostituted women = sex. You can just jerk off, if you think it's a "human need".
Chris Hedges did not invent feminist ideas. We oppose prostitution and porn because of its documented violence against women, and I read all about that before Chris Hedges spoke to prostituted women, survivors of porn etc. (but you should listen to the women he speaks to too). Also, he's not a fundamentalist Christian, he's barely a Christian (even though he studied that world).
If you believe those of us who oppose violence against women are prudes, that's your problem, and something I always find amusing by the pro-prostitution brigade, as if we equate buying women to that wonderfully fun (and mutual) thing that most people understand sex to be.
Crantag wrote:So where do you figure the threat of police rates? Because I'll put it number one above the other valid things you mentioned, but it could be further down the list. And when done the right way sex is not unhealthy, it's actually a human need.
