They'd lose a job, because the US has free trade with countries that erect barriers to entry for US goods and services, because our politicians want to flood our country with immigrants to drive wages down, and because our politicians prevent them from making a living by declaring them "non-essential" during a pandemic.

Have you heard me defending the higher education racket? I don't think so. This is one of the rackets that is going to have a hard time surviving after coronavirus. You can't suddenly say, "Ok. Now all schooling will be online and it's the same as being in the classroom" when they have been opposing that for decades. One of the weirdest turnabouts of this whole thing is Democrats demanding that schools remain closed and students school at home. Democrats have been saying for a long time that schools are where some kids get their only complete meal of the day. Home-schooled kids are dumber and not well adjusted socially, etc.

A lot of poor people like Donald Trump. It's people like Jeb Bush who pay lip service and do nothing, because they are for driving down wages with outsourcing and excessive immigration--legal and illegal.
Tainari88 wrote:How do you plan to appeal to them?
I'm not running for office. Trump appeals to working class people by noting that many of their problems are due to outsourcing and immigration--legal and illegal. Calling him "racist" doesn't work, because that's what they call the people who have had their jobs shipped offshore. Bitter clingers, deplorables, the 47%, from both parties.
Tainari88 wrote:You don't appeal to them but want them to vote for your Republicans? That is the height of arrogant foolishness in political strategy BJ.
The Democrats have left them behind, especially if they are white. Why do you think I think the Republicans are so wonderful. Only Drlee drones on about how he's a Republican and disagrees with virtually everything about his party.

It's machine language. Your feelings don't matter. The compiler does not care about your feelings. So are these African Americans and Latinos running away from programming jobs? It seems you want to have it both ways, and the problem is always with white people.

I didn't say the Republicans have no racists. Mostly, they are classists and law and order types. The only appeal of the KKK to the Republicans is that there is a higher percentage of white Republicans than white Democrats. Otherwise, they pretty much don't agree. The KKK is villainized in the United States just as Hitler is villainized, because the KKK hates the Jews as well as the blacks. Trump is very friendly with Jews and with blacks. So what do you want me to do? I routinely suggest decoupling from China, and knock their human rights abuses. However, our major corporations make gobs of money off of them. You are still refusing to deal with the well documented science on this: only 5.5% of black Americans have a 2-repeat allele of monoamine oxidase. It's not all blacks by a long shot, but of those who have it, about 80% of them have been in handcuffs and seen the inside of a jail cell. About 55% of blacks have a 3-repeat allele of monoamine oxidase, and about 35% of whites do. If they face socio-economic hardships, they tend to develop anti-social behavior. They seem to do better with some social programs to blunt some of the negative socio-economic factors.
People with low levels of monoamines such as dopamine and serotonin tend to get depressed. We have SSRIs and dopamine agonists to address that. People with high levels of monoamines tend to be very aggressive. Sometimes, they exhibit similar symptoms as depressed people--i.e., anxiety. One of the counter arguments to what I'm saying is that most mass psychotic killers are white men. That's also true. What's also true is that many of the mass shooters are on an anti-depressant such as Venlaxafine, when maybe it's the drug that is simply pouring fuel on the fire. They actually have a build-up of monoamines not a deficit, and they were prescribed the wrong remedy because doctors are guessing and not running physical tests on monamine levels, metabolites, brain imaging, etc. That's what I took away from reading DSM-V and a bunch of psychopharmacology books. I was horrified.

Charles Murray and others have proposed almost the same thing you found so wonderful with white people in Germany, but you are unable to see the same things in a lot of people that want a reform of the existing welfare state--probably, because they do not see socialism as the solution, or somehow inevitable.

Not many people are being arrested for the rioting today. Why? Democrats. Same people. Different time, but the same bad actors. I'm perfectly aware of news outlets like the New York Times trying to drive this wedge and pretending that it was "white people." 1619 project and all that bullshit.
Tainari88 wrote:If I would talk about the aggressive Black male who kills (like you do all the time)? This is knowing I have a black son I raised and who I witnessed how bad it is for them with the stereotypes and lack of justice?
I don't think all black males are aggressive killers. Not by a long shot. I've simply zeroed in on one biological factor in a very small subset of the African American population, which most people are unable to cope with. I've also talked extensively about social problems. For example, when people on the American left here talk about the need for gun control and how strict and ruthless they would be with gun control, I'm usually the first person here to point out that such an approach is going to fall most severely on young black men. Watch this for example--long and mostly boring police video camera footage of a young black man on his FIRST ARREST and its a series of felonies.
The kid has had a long history of problems with the school, but liberals have gone out of their way to make sure he isn't put in contact with law enforcement. However, these same liberals are terribly afraid of guns, and with the spate of school shootings, not completely unreasonably. So as they start to search this young man's backpack, not only do they find a gun, they find it is loaded with a round in the chamber and the safety off, and it's stolen. They also find another person's ID, and another person's credit card. The poor kid is 18. He won't be charged as a minor. Even the cops seem to understand this kid is in for a rough go--except for possibly busting down the offenses and trying to get a pre-trial diversion since he doesn't have a criminal record. If he gets convicted of this, how does he so much as get a job at McDonalds? I'm perfectly fine with a court ordered probation that mandates he gets a job, does it well, has his school and job attendance checked, must attend AA or some substance abuse support group, and get randomly tested. However, I can see the liberals screaming "slavery!" at forcing the kid to get a job versus going to prison.
Now, on the other hand, what has the end of stop-and-frisk and cash bail done in a place like New York City? Shootings have more than tripled. Who's getting killed the most? Black people.
Please Stop Helping Us: How Liberals Make It Harder for Blacks to SucceedYou take a Drlee or a Godstud on gun control and the right to bear arms, and you get a lot of liberal tough talk on guns. Where does it impact the most though? Generally, on young black men. There are tons of laws that screw them over.
When I was a kid, a doctor friend of my father's gave me a buck knife for a present. I once had it in my pocket, and it was explained to me that it's against the law to put it in my pocket. I have to put it in its sheath and wear it on my belt. Did I understand the law? No. I thought it was stupid then, and I think it is stupid now. Yet, it gives the police a pretext for an arrest. Who gets hurt the most by laws like that? Black people. Hispanics. Poor people. Who writes those laws? Democrats, almost without exception.
Tainari88 wrote:You keep writing about the black men and how they are untrustworthy and who is a threat to life, safety, and the pursuit of happiness in contrast to the coder Blackjack21 who by his own statements is the decent intelligent, high IQ individual with coding skills that own property in Walnut Creek?
See? There you go again making up things that I never said. I give you very specific cases, very specific effects, very specific causes. You say that it is cold, calculated and unfeeling. Then you regurgitate it back to me as very unspecific, utterly general and completely bigoted--utterly unrecognizable from what I said.
Tainari88 wrote:But somehow the Black criminals might have children with these defective genes you signal so often?
First, you cannot point to anywhere where I have said a 2-repeat allele of monoamine oxidase is a defective gene. It's not. It's selected. Why? I gave you a rationale--probably that people may have functioned much better in some parts of Central West Africa where they may have had a very low amine diet. That's paleo human stuff. In 20-21st Century America, they find themselves fond of high amine foods, but some of that population cannot break them down and it can make them violent. Law is a monopoly on violence, so naturally the government takes an interest.
Some crazy white shooters that go on mind bending shooting sprees tend to be on an anti-depressant like Venlaxafine. Sometimes the symptoms of depression and aggression have similarities, like anxiety, sleeplessness, etc. Do you notice that when I defend Barack Obama, it's usually on something very specific like medical testing--having physical evidence of a problem BEFORE prescribing medicines? That's because when I'm helping people I care about that have mental health issues, I find myself reading books like this:
Stahl's Essential Psychopharmacology: Neuroscientific Basis and Practical Applications (Essential Psychopharmacology Series) 3rd Edition. Do you read books like that when helping people you care about? No you don't. You haven't studied psychopharmacology Tainari88! You haven't done the work!
Or... having body cameras on police officers, so we can see what actually took place. That was Obama, and while cops don't always like it, I agree with Obama on that. Incidentally, that's what I find amusing about SpecialOlympian being so easily triggered. I can just as easily post the police doing the same thing to a white person, but he thinks "white genocide" is so funny. So I post a black person charging the cops with a weapon, and he calls it "black murder porn" and noemon red cards me. However, ask yourself why I can so easily find something like this white man getting shot by a white female police officer. (And keep in mind, I risk noemon carding me or banning me even though the entire George Floyd incident would meet his and SpecialOlympian's definition of "black murder porn")
Why is it so common? And please don't come back with something insipid like "capitalism", "colonialism," etc. Give me something a little more concrete and a little less polemical to work with.
Also, look at the comments:
so this dude took that many bullets, flopped over, and said “ow”

She handled herself remarkably well. Had a jamb at a terrible moment, cleared it perfectly and resumed shooting this bastard. Kudos to her!
That's what I noticed too. She cleared a jammed round with someone charging her with a knife, and kept shooting. Excellent training.
I can't believe how many rounds that guy took and he was still advancing! This should clear any doubt anybody might have about why police shoot multiple times!
Best slide return failure clear by a woman that I've ever seen.
Impressive.
At least the police officer didn’t panic when her gun jammed and had the composure to re-rack the slide, and empty the mag into this dirtbag!
This is what the police deal with on a frequent enough basis that they receive a lot of training. Do you think you would handle yourself so well in such a situation? I'm guessing we'd get a news story of the Puerto Rican police officer who was stabbed and killed. It's been almost a year since my grade school buddy's daughter was killed as a field training officer up in Sacramento. She took a bullet and they had to wait for an armed up vehicle to get her. She bled out. Dead. Yet, we need to de-militarize the police?

Tainari88 wrote:Your interpretation of genetic variation as the authority. It is not.
Look, I've given you a very specific gene--not genes. One. I've given you one variation of that gene, and it's low transcription for monoamine oxidase, and it's very high association with anti-social behavior. Is that absolutely deterministic? No. It's a pretty significant indicator though. When I'm noting that social effects demonstrate that anti-social behavior can be blunted in people with 3-repeat alleles, clearly I'm talking phenotype and not genotype.

Right, but again you aren't willing to address something very specific. You run away into generalization. Traits are heritable. If you mix people from all over the world, you will still have heritable traits. That doesn't change because you no longer have the distinct features of isolated population groups. Genes are discrete. As I said, we're nascent in our understanding of them as yet. However, that's changing very quickly.
