ckaihatsu wrote:So, since you know that capital is rewarded with *more* capital, how would you address / fix this, according to your 'individualist meritocracy' politics?

I'm not going to attempt to address the relation between exchange values and use values -- there *is* something of an empirical measurement that exists, in nation-based GDP-to-debt ratios, but that's still entirely within *exchange values* themselves, without any connection to use values, though.

The *point*, at this point, is really to say that we need to eliminate *exchange values* altogether, because they're *far* from being meritocratic in any sense, and society doesn't need capital or any kind of abstract quantitative values whatsoever. Especially given today's communication technologies (the Internet, servers, etc.), we can do everything using *data*, and we don't need *exchanges*, either -- post-capitalist collectivist social production can be based on any specific plan to fulfill unmet *human need*, and once those items are produced, they can be sent *directly* to the consumer -- 'direct distribution', like we have with online ordering today. No exchanges, no markets. Those who *want* to work for the common good / communist-type gift economy, could do so, or not, and still receive from 'the commons' that *others* have provided-to. No exchange values needed, no capital, no exchanges, no markets.

Here's my proposed model framework for such:

I have always stated that capitalism ends in communism. This seems impossible for left winger type SJWs. However, I believe communists like you are starting to see how this is possible. It is a world that is difficult for anyone to imagine and I suspect most left wingers do not have the vision. But, I go beyond the horizon you barely see. There is no other ending for capitalism that is not communism. SJws like POD, the tainamary, the ER doc, Dr Lee and others cannot imagine. They still see the world as the good guys versus the bad guys, totally tribal.

Tainari88 wrote:Who exactly qualifies as an idiot? You know the Americans with Disabilities Act is not going to like you discriminating against them if it is about low IQ.

I was opposed to the ADA and still am. I think it's fine for new buildings to have a new code to facilitate the handicapped, but a civil rights law with all sorts of lawsuits, etc. was a terrible idea. It's one more reason why it was good that George H.W. Bush lost.

Tainari88 wrote: It has to do with those with more power to get conveniences.

It also has a lot to do with the English-speaking world being dominant economically. French was spoken in most courts not so long ago.

Tainari88 wrote:Reading, writing, and thinking and organizing concepts.

Right. That's why kids should be working on reading, writing and arithmetic, and not on why they should feel offended by somethings and taught how to express how offended they are about something they weren't even aware of before some SJW provocateur decided to rile up the kiddies instead of teaching them.

Tainari88 wrote:No, BJ, I find a lot of human beings in the USA largely ignorant about everything. ... The sin of the powerful and wealthy have been to think the lower classes as individuals are not as complex as they are. That is a mistake.

Sometimes your conclusion completely contradicts all your previous points. To be poor is not to be stupid, but to be stupid is very often to be poor.

Tainari88 wrote:Imperialists are about the rest of the world is ours

You are conflating nationalism and imperialism now.

Tainari88 wrote:The police have been used to substitute for mental health counselors, drug addiction treatment professionals, responsible parents, psychologists, etc.

I wouldn't disagree there. I do think some people need to be wards of the state, and that should be separate from the criminal justice system.

Tainari88 wrote:You never answered BJ about if you want a Back to Africa movement or do you want the African Americans to stay in the USA?

I'm fine with both. People who don't like the United States should at least consider the merits of leaving it. For example, I think Ilhan Omar should really rethink whether she wants to be an American. She might be happier back in Somalia. Why immigrate to a country if you want to tear down all its institutions? Better to go to a country you want to be a part of. Some people will never be happy in America, and I think they should consider leaving. It would broaden their horizons to simply explore the idea and do a bit of travelling. Others, I think they are just fine in America. However, I wouldn't say this breaks down purely on racial lines. I'm often perplexed by white people who think state-run healthcare is the be-all-end-all, but won't move to a country with the policies they favor instead of expressing endless frustration with the US.

Tainari88 wrote:dealing with people in a logical and compassionate manner

Why do you think logic and compassion go hand in hand?

Tainari88 wrote:Do these have a race or are they about behavior.

About behavior.

Tainari88 wrote:Would I be correct in throwing you in a basket with that fuck? No. Then why do that with Latinos or Blacks?

If I had the same tendencies and behaviors that would be fine. I have posited something very specific in genetics and behavior--the 2-repeat allele of monoamine oxidase. It only affects about .1% of white people, but about 5.5% of African-Americans (Central West Africans). In the US, that might cause a racial stereotype of blacks being more violent.

Tainari88 wrote:The answer is racist mentalities. Violent and anti-social is about behaviors.

Yes, but you can turn that right around. If police only arrest the violent and anti-social, you will still end up with a racial distribution; and, enterprising SJW's will point that out and blame it not on the anti-social behavior of the arrestee, but on the racism of the police.

Tainari88 wrote:You do that shit all the time. You think science is there...Africans are genetically anti-social.

There you go again taking something very specific and generalizing it to the point that it bears no relationship to what I actually said. With even basic math, you can easily say that the 2-repeat allele of MAOA DOES NOT affect 94.5% of the African-American population. If you took the entire sub-Saharan population, I would guess the percentage of people with the 2-repeat allele of MAOA would be even lower, as sub-Saharan Africa has the most genetic diversity of the human population.

Tainari88 wrote:They lack a sense of humanness.

I am looking for specific causes of persistent problems, and frankly I'm unimpressed with the establishment's answer. I think there is a genetic influence. I've said many things about white people too in a much more serious vein than you'll get from someone like SpecialOlympian--that is, white people are less likely to be extremely violent on an individual basis, mental health and drug-induced psychosis aside; yet, white people tend to be extremely violent when acting as a group. That is an unstated subtext of the black guy arrested for running over a white female Black Lives Matter protester. Putting someone in jail for life is organized violence. Police are organized violence. Mobs are organized violence. Armies are organized violence. They do not even see the irony of putting a black man in jail for inadvertently killing a white woman protesting that Black Lives Matter. You think I do not see the fraud in white leftists? I certainly do.

Tainari88 wrote:No, BJ, you are one of the most conventional thinkers in that way I have ever met.

 You are afraid Trump is going to start a war. Barack Obama had already taken down the government of Libya by his first term in office, which is why the Benghazi incident had happened only a few months before the election. "We came, we saw, he died! Bwahahahahaha!"--Hillary Clinton. What war has Trump started so far? Bush in his first term invaded Afghanistan and Iraq. Clinton invaded Haiti in his first term. He also used military force to push Bosnian Serbs to the negotiating table in his first term. In his second term, Clinton brought the Serbians to their knees. What has Trump done? You are talking about your fears, and I'm laying out for you the factions behind the scenes who want war, and Trump is not one of them. He has not created a new war.

Tainari88 wrote:If you want me to elaborate I will.

Please. Set your feelings aside. Deal only with what military moves Trump has made in the last three plus years of his presidency where he either started a war or was seriously planning a military campaign against a nation-state.

Tainari88 wrote:The Epps guy who was the slaver wanted Solomon the Slave to whip his slave Patsy for him. He lacked the courage to do it himself like most abusive cowards do BJ? You don't study that kind of history do you? I am no surprised.

War is doing the unthinkable. Politics is getting someone else to do the unthinkable for you. You may call it cowardice. It may be depicted as cowardice. It is something else. It is power. It is hierarchy. That thing that keeps coming up that you don't want to deal with as part of nature.

Tainari88 wrote:It is about power BJ. Plain and simple.

Whew! I was getting worried about you for a second.

Tainari88 wrote:But they both use black men to do the dirty work? You did not know that?

Yes. The illiterate people of today refer to that kind of a person as "Uncle Tom," because they've never read Harriet Beecher Stowe.

Tainari88 wrote:Everything is about money and profit and all that is the most significant about living in a human society is reduced to property and bank account numbers. Then people die. Without loving or giving or anything.

Many wealthy have endowed great universities. They've given lots to charity. Some capitalists are assholes, but that's not true of all of them. I think Jeff Bezos is much more of an asshole than someone like Bill Gates, for example. Jeff Bezos actually cancels people's health insurance, pays them low wages, creates difficult working conditions, etc.--for his underclass workers. He cannot do this to his high tech employees. Microsoft made millionaires out of receptionists and janitors too.

Tainari88 wrote:We need to get beyond materialistic bullshit and deal with real human society and making this world a place in which all can be free.

Materialistic bullshit like ventilators, anti-virals, hospital beds, etc.? Capitalism is not about religion. If you're looking for nirvana, it's not going to be found in capitalism. However, you will find great invention and innovation in capitalism.

Tainari88 wrote:Just like I can imagine a world without capitalism? But you can't.

It shouldn't have to involve the entire world to create a better system. Why can't you do it in a country? Maoist China wasn't capitalist. That's not hard to imagine. Maduro's Venezuela isn't capitalist. We can see the results there. North Korea isn't capitalist. Neither is Myanmar.

Tainari88 wrote:Most of that is African American in origin. Lol. Give credit where credit is due. Lol. No, the USA borrows all art forms from people that it often finds 'inferior'.

I do. I'm not a fan of hip hop or rap, or even modern R&B. However, I think of jazz as a high art form.

Tainari88 wrote:Like White People loving Taco Tuesdays and in the same breath hating Mexicans in the USA.

Take away the race-to-the-bottom wage competition and the hatred goes away with it for the most part.

Tainari88 wrote:Like White People loving Taco Tuesdays and in the same breath hating Mexicans in the USA.

Heh. They think they are exposing themselves to other cultures and are therefore superior. Superior to others for their egalitarian ways...

Tainari88 wrote:The USA is still wet behind the ears and nouveau riche and horrifically adolescent in culture BJ. You can deny that?

It also led the way in bringing more people out of poverty than the ancient cultures of the world, save Britain, France, Germany and Italy with great strides in science, medicine, and industry--raising living standards through much of the world.

Tainari88 wrote:I hope this pandemic doesn't dissuade you from travel. It is a good thing.

I'm headed up to Montana in a few weeks. Unfortunately, international travel isn't an option for awhile.

Tainari88 wrote:You also could go to jail for having a Puerto Rican flag in your house. 10 years of jail time. Also, a gag law where you were silenced for even discussing independence. It was considered sedition. Oppressive behavior BJ. Oppressive and intolerant. Only after there were bullets in congress and violence...the PR flag was allowed to fly. After years and years of asking politely. Only threats of death made them relent. Is that tolerable for a nationalist like you are? Think about it.

I have no problem with different flags. It's why I think it is amusing that the Democrats want to erase their history and loath the Stars and Bars. Try walking around with a confederate flag or a swastika flag around those people. They become violent very quickly--as a group. That's what characterizes white violence in my view--it's highly organized group violence.

You're unable to *specify* and *describe* the political and economic transition, though, either for *your own* 'individualist meritocracy' politics, or for this other, 'parliamentarist' approach of capitalism somehow *flowing* into socialism.

I have to reiterate that, under capitalism, capital is rewarded with *more capital* (as in 1% interest on millions, for an automatic 'living wage', without any work or effort) -- this, if you'll notice, is in the *opposite direction* of any socialism -- historically this dynamic has tended towards *monopoly* and *fascism*, so I think any purported 'parliamentarism' is woefully inappropriate and misguided.

It's not 'tribal' to posit politics of *anti-capitalism*, versus *capitalists* and *statists*, because such isn't based on *personal identity*, as identity-politics / tribalism, is. Anytime there's been protest movements in the streets, or at workplaces / factories, that's the *manifestation* of a general political sentiment that favors dispossessed groups, like blacks at the hands of killer cops, or workers at work. Now, today, with the Internet, (anti-capitalist) political sentiment can take place at a 'meta-brain' level, like here at PoFo, before it manifests physically in the streets and at workplaces.

@blackjack21 I am going to work on these replies to you.

But I got three different people asking for my help today. One is the 21-year-old chef here originally from a small town in Tabasco state who has an emergency and he needs my help. He is going back to his parents' farm in Tabasco and he has a need to eat real German sausage made by hand and German potato salad. Supposedly he worked for a German man who owned a sausage business here in this city and the man grows all his own animals and makes his own stuff. Including a line of Iberian ham. He wants to make me his version of things. He thinks the German (whom he used to work for) was too strict and paid terrible wages less than minimum Mexican wages and was hard of hearing and locked him in the meat freezer by mistake once, and due to that? He started yelling to let him out of the freezer but the old man was hard of hearing. He was left for 10 minutes and almost froze to death with ice crystals forming on his eyelashes. He asked me if that is how it is in Denver in the winter. An unknown experience for him. I said yes, and it can get worse than that. He said, "Dona, I don't know but I would not last in such terrible cold. It is bad. No wonder you moved here. Give me warm weather."

I asked him why he left the job with the German? He said, "Bad pay but also he is too strict about punctuality. I think he thinks Yucatan is Germany. Nobody is strict about being on time here. He is. You tell us work starts at 7am? We might get there at 720am or later, maybe even 8am. So a boss has to be smart in Mexico. You want the employees there at 7am you tell them 6am is the start time. Everyone knows this. But the German guy was angry. I expect you on time. Plus, I would work 10 hours in a shift and he paid no overtime and paid about half the minimum wage claiming we got tips. We never got tips. He pocketed the tips. That meant I was working for $20 pesos an hour or about 80 cents an hour." That doesn't work for the strong, honest and good employees BJ. But that is Mexico. Some small business owners make about $4000 US dollars a week selling their stuff and the employees make $35 dollars a week. The employees that have strong work ethics then go to work for hotel kitchens that pay almost three times more than the small German businessman does. People avoid exploitation. In Mexico and everywhere else. They have to provide some money for their futures. Being exploited in the extreme here pushes them to violate the law of immigration in the USA. Avoiding exploitation. The USA along with the rest of the developed nations need to stop the super low wage shit that doesn't work for anyone in the Third World. It will lead to refugee situations and instability. People can't live in nations where the pay is not enough to feed and house themselves. Much less buy a computer and buy a cell phone and upgrade their businesses and or little ambitions.

It is a worldwide problem. Poverty contributes to breaking the law. If you argue otherwise? You are foolish BJ. Few people choose hunger and poverty over a full belly and being able to buy a house and buy a used car and send their kids to school. They will violate every fucking law in the book to be able to get that to their kids and their families. The Mexicans, the Irish, and everyone else. The fools advocating for hating immigrants and thinking that by throwing everyone in jail will solve the problem and deporting millions of Mexicans and Central Americans are fools. Stabilize these nations I am in right now. Make sure those greedy assholes making $4000 a week don't get away with paying their employees $.80 cents an hour. Because they continue with that fucking greedy shit and the employees leave and eventually if it continues for another two decades? The Mexicans will get some money in the bank and go and qualify for a tourist visa and go and enter the USA legally and will overstay. Then you got to send law enforcement people after them through ICE, they occupy some detention center. You have to pay an airline ticket and a cop to watch him or her, and etc etc. By the time the whole thing is over? It was cheaper to put a sanction and tax the fucking greedy employers FIRST and force everyone into higher wages. Bernie was not about open borders. He wants the Mexican elite to feel the burn of no cooperation with their scams to exploit not only in the USA but in Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, etc. So they are pressured everywhere into living wages.

But the Right hates it. So if you hate living wages? You will have undocumented workers/illegal immigration for all time. Non stop. If the human species did not have a deep talent for survival looking for meat, food and shelter and water to live for hundreds of thousands of years and failed at that? Would have never made it out of the Stone Age BJ.

Being anti-immigration without addressing the root causes is about band-aid solutions. Just like the liberals with welfare.

1. No, I say let them sue. If ever I become disabled I want rights. Lol. You are terrible BJ. Lack of empathy is a problem with you.

It also has a lot to do with the English-speaking world being dominant economically. French was spoken in most courts not so long ago.

2. Bill Bryson's Mother Tongue it tells you the low brow origins of the English language and its lack of prestige. How things change and remain the same. No one learns the lessons of history do they? The poor become powerful and the rich lose power. Flip flop. When conditions and criteria and circumstances change. Those are the tides of history at work. Being dominant economically with fools in charge racking up trillions in debt is not the formula for success Senor. The courts here are bilingual. Spanish and Mayan. A good thing.

Right. That's why kids should be working on reading, writing and arithmetic, and not on why they should feel offended by somethings and taught how to express how offended they are about something they weren't even aware of before some SJW provocateur decided to rile up the kiddies instead of teaching them.

3) No, they need to learn my version of history. Hee hee. Which I do. I teach my son about Puerto Rico, Mexico, Latin America, Indian history, African etc. It is not all about Europe. A more broad perspective eh? Fuck simplistic shitty educations. They are not for me.

Sometimes your conclusion completely contradicts all your previous points. To be poor is not to be stupid, but to be stupid is very often to be poor.

4) I am proof that the poor are not stupid. Lol. They work hard and they are good people. But someone is making money off of them? Lol. If that were not true then the rich would not be so few now would they? Such few people who are not the sharpest knives in the drawer in my opinion. Lots of really dull minded rich people who inherited their Daddý's money and are full of bad ideas. Lol. Who was Trump's father? A sociopath according to Mary Trump. Maybe he should have had some alleles snipped out for being a sociopathic creep and his father making money off of prostitutes in the Pacific Northwest eh?

You are conflating nationalism and imperialism now.

5)Nationalism is bad if someone has the idea that their nation is the only one that counts and wants to have access to the best of the world and not give the natives of those nations ANYTHING for their land or people. That kind of thinking is bad. So imperialism for me sucks, nationalism that is about minding your own business and being a good steward of your own nation's resources and people and being helpful to others who ask for your nation's help? Is a good thing. Once it becomes a fucking power trip and you want everyone else's land and or resources at cheap prices while being innately unfair with others and with large groups of your own people being thrown under the bus for an elite to prosper? No. I think that is bad bad bad to the bone. Nationalism like that is horrific and I hope it dies an agonizing death. I don't like your concepts of nationalism. You will wind up having Black Power groups at war with the skinheads and KKK and people looking to kill all the people in your political column. No harmony will there be in the USA with your concepts of nationalism. A bloody war is your destiny with your mentality BJ. No doubts I have about that.

I wouldn't disagree there. I do think some people need to be wards of the state, and that should be separate from the criminal justice system.

6) They are not going to spend on it. They are horrible with that. They have no respect for keeping that separate.

I'm often perplexed by white people who think state-run healthcare is the be-all-end-all, but won't move to a country with the policies they favor instead of expressing endless frustration with the US.

7) Ay BJ another naive bullshit paragraph from you? No one comes to the USA because of the culture and its ínstitutions. They come here for economics. For jobs and buying homes and educating kids. Not for culture or for love. This country is a free for all of economic suctioning off. The MONEY is here. The people follow the money. No one who is African or Latin America or Asian or even European and grows up in those societies thinks the USA is superior because of hamburger eating and milkshakes and shit culture that exists here. It is all COMMERCIAL shit. They are here for a job. One that pays enough to acquire property and get their kids through university. They become Americanized only if they see it as necessary for a life. Do you know how many Mexicans I know who came to the USA for jobs? Almost all of them. They continue to love their own culture deeply. The money is why they are there. Nothing else. Freedom? That is all bullshit BJ. People leave Lousiana, Kentucky and West Virginia too. Why? POVERTY and lack of opportunity. Also, you have zero moral leg to stand on with me. Because the USA doesn't give a shit about constitutionality and respecting their own founding document with us Puerto Ricans, Guamanians, Virgin Islanders, Samoans, etc. Fucking invade, don't give rights and go back on your word and your own principles and then want compliance and so on from Somalian American reps from other cultures? Fuck that BJ. Kiss my ass with that double standard shit. You have NOTHING. A bunch of contradictions and fake broken treatees with Indian tribes violated thousands of times and not worth the paper it is written on. The sacred institutions are GREED and more GREED. For that? I hope the entire place gets filled with Omar types burning it all down. Or like this last few minutes of Jamie Oliver's spin on the LAPD cops in California. Listen to that black woman. I agree with her 100%. Why should they respect your white supremacist shitty society at all? When you are killing, stealing and being assholes with these communities? Where is the playing fair? No, I spit on the two faced shit institutions from there. They SUCK. Two-faced liars is what the sacred institutions are BJ. Cue up the video at 31:12 seconds and play it out till the end? She sums up why the 'social contract' is violated. Your sacred white supremacy is going to pay the price of that violation if you continue with the nationalistic white favoring. It is going to be broken in two generations BJ. The whole new manifestations of it are all going to be crumbled. Here she is:

Why do you think logic and compassion go hand in hand?

8)Why do you think they don't? People need logic true. But they also need to be seen as feeling beings and considered that way. People have a need for meaning, dignity and respect. It is fundamental for human relations. Your coldness I find repulsive. Never be cold with people BJ if you can avoid it. Logical is good. Cold is not. Both is ideal. Try it some time. You will be surprised eh? I am of Latin culture. Cold is being inhumane. That is how I was raised. It is part of our ethos. It is not yours. I am not part of your culture BJ. Again if you don't like me? Then tell me, Äzuquita? I don't like your ways. I will respect your decision.

About behavior.

9)Yes and you think that being without and being aggressive will make that Black woman in the video calmer with killer cops and lack of jobs and fucked up neighborhoods? The USA government bombed out Greenwood the Black Wall Street and Rosewood, and other hoods. You come up with ginning up the crowd. That is bullshit BJ. It is about power and naked racism. You continue to justify such things? You are lucky the African Americans are tolerant and are not seeking revenge but only seek equality. It is interesting? Human beings who are coming from the bottom tend to be the most reasonable and less arrogant and the least drunk on power and only want justice. Not revenge. You are lucky they only want justice. Because if the African Americans had decided to do as much damage as the White Supremacists did for hundreds of years to White folk with notions of 'this is my country and no one else's' when their Irish grannies were late coming here to this country and are 20th century immigrants who arrived here after the blood and sweat happened to make it prosperous and then had the gall to criticize Black power groups? No, BJ, you are the uppity usurper with unreasonable demands. Not them. Suck it up. Be a good little snob and accept responsibility for the problems.

10)I have news for your Blackjack21, you are not the world. You are one individual in a nation of 330 plus million. California has more Asians and Latinos combined than they do European origin Americans. You are a minority in that state. So act accordingly. Pack your bags and get out of it soon. Lol. You see how bad you sound? Might cause a racial stereotype? You are into stereotypes and bullshit BJ. I don't like it one bit.

10 contd)What are you going to do about it? Remove them? Force them to snip out the aggression? I say let them stay and wait for those asshole KKK types to show up in their neighborhoods and have the 2 repeat allele Black males kick their asses for them. Get them cowed at their temerity to think the nation belongs to their lily white asses. Lol. Please BJ. Leave your racist fears of the BIG BAD BLACK GUY at home. You think they are a threat because of their genes? Your people are a threat due to their cold as ice nasty greed. Do something about their fucking greed and it might help everyone. Get all those nasty greedy liberals in the Democratic party and the nasty greedy racist pigs in the Republican party and get them all together and punish them. Lol. Leave the supposedly violent black men out of your inner dialogue.

Yes, but you can turn that right around. If police only arrest the violent and antisocial, you will still end up with a racial distribution; and, enterprising SJW's will point that out and blame it not on the anti-social behavior of the arrestee, but on the racism of the police.

11)You are a denier. The police have been present in Black neighborhoods historically based on white dominant racist histories. I put in the slave patrols. Did you watch it? You never comment on accurate history. You gloss over it. You think I don't notice that any valid point I make you ignore and only insist on a narrative that favors your point of view. I notice everything about your behavior Blackjack21. You don't care about Black people. You don't. You don't care about their history, their issues, their needs and their positions in the USA society. You are about retaining power for dumbell rich white men only. Because you defend that asshole Trump all the time. He sucks. The neoliberals are in charge because they know how to work the anti racism narrative introduced from the liberals in the Civil Rights era. The society has changed. The liberals have dominated the paradigms for well over 55 years now. It is not socially acceptable to be a declared and proud racist. Not even that classic racist Hindsite likes being called that. Why? It means a bad person. Who changed that shit? The LIBERALS. For what purpose? So they could continue to sell their products to non white customers FOREVER and keep holding on to their corporations and shape the culture to suit the needs of neoliberalism and its need to profit. It is not about real justice between races or classes BJ. It is about shaming the racists into not letting them sell to non white people. And non white people are the MAJORITY of planet Earth. Let me repeat. Non white people are the majority. The European alleles are not the majority. Accept that the future of humanity is not about Europe only. Not even the USA's future is about that anymore. Give it up. The BLACKS stay. The Latinos stay and everyone else. I hope you realize the nation is not about being scared of the big Black man with the repeat alleles. Give up the bullshit fear.

There you go again taking something very specific and generalizing it to the point that it bears no relationship to what I actually said. 12)You have no corazon but this cold analysis BJ? Do you care about the African Americans in the USA? My heart tells me you don't. You are only about your own group. You have zero generosity of spirit. Africa has genetic diversity galore. All of us are connected. The editing the genes is for what reason? Experiment on that sociopath with a lack of empathy as your first guinea pig for seeing if his nasty lack of empathy can be modified by some genetic editing. Then you can talk. Not before.

13) You are blind about many things. Pressure is what political change is about BJ. People of all ethnicities, races and backgrounds when organized and pressured into needing change become a problem for structures. Institutions are only as good as the quality of the people who run them. A bunch of sellouts will never be good administrators and decent leaders of society BJ. People get tired. It is not about idealistic shit it is about people getting sick and tired of bullshit and eventually it changes.

14) Biden is being set up as the alternative to Trumpism. The neoliberals are on the march to retake the White House. Will they be successful? Who knows? We will find out in November. Trump is a capitalist problem that is symbolic of what is the ugliest parts of that nation. He is like the worst of American capitalism in a nutshell. I no longer am dedicated to living there. I don't like it. I don't know what Puerto Rico's future will be. The pro independence movement is growing again. It was shrinking and now it is growing big. From 2.5% to 14.5% in a very short time. If the USA becomes some death squad shit like they pulled in Latin American little nations of the past to hold on to power? I am staying in Mexico and bringing the Puerto Ricans from my political column here with me. As many as I can. And let the Yankee government work very hard to blow us away or do some horrible stuff. What do I expect from your government Blackjack21? I will be plain and honest. I expect violent hatred and absolute horror if Puerto Rico tries to pull away. I expect bombs from the air and thousands of dead children and women like me seen as pieces of shit and people like you not caring about it. Because that is the kind of heartless and awful shit your government has done with great consistency with the Black people in the USA, with the Native Americans and with the invaded small places who are from the and I quote, "The alien races" that lack Anglo Saxon principles. Patronizing, racist, cold sociopathic horrors that are excuses for human beings. The very worst of humanity. That is what I expect from your filth of a government. And the warmongering ones from the states? Let them fight with the old man AMLO or some Morena party successor to get us in their damn clutches, and other left groups in Mexico for us. Mexico is the refuge of every Left radical for years. Lol. I won't tell you the history of it. You never had much of an interest in things outside of your own narrow reality there. But here they got a fighting chance. A recap again.

20) What do I expect from the USA government? Immoral killers and wanting more money for an elite at the expense of innocent hard working people from nations with less military might and financial might. So I believe your group is SATANIC in every way. I hope they are stopped. Leave PR alone and if the Boricuas want freedom? Give up the billions and get the hell out. I don't care how many skinhead wars you will wind up with in that place. You deserve what the Black woman said. Burn the bitch down to the ground. NO respect for anything but fake shit from whites in corrupt parties from both sides. They SUCK. Racist sucky ideas from hell. Elitists. Tokenism. Sociopathic presidents, and dumbells without any educations. I have zero respect for how bad it has gotten. Clean up that mess in the states and maybe Germany might let the Americans cross their borders again. Until then the ex Nazi nation is more intelligent with Covid than the dumbell arrogant fools who are provoking people into race wars with their white supremacist BULLSHIT. Drop it or burn it to the ground. Drop the white favoring and using the cops for the impositions and control from the sellout Democratic racists. And Republican racists. Both parties suck. Get a third party or keep the shit going with bad rotten shit forever. It is up to you. I hope you realize that unless you unite and start making a real effort at change the USA is going to be in big problems for a long time. The whole world is going to have to change now. If they want to be able to survive the pandemic. It is trying to sacrifice to get a chance at normality. You don't know how because the rugged individualism is about personal freedom. I saw some selfish woman cough on a baby of someone who asked her to wear a mask. To protect her kid. The woman got upset and coughed on the baby on purpose. I would have kicked her ass to the ground. But such is the mentality of entitlement that nation has become. A nation of selfish people who don't know how to work as a group anymore. It better change.

Please. Set your feelings aside. Deal only with what military moves Trump has made in the last three plus years of his presidency where he either started a war or was seriously planning a military campaign against a nation-state.

15) I don't care BJ. The USA is run by the Defense Industry and their powerful lobbyists in DC. They will find a way of profiting all the time. Trump is just a foolish pendejo there without idealism. His thing is selfish gain. But I don't trust him. At all. You trust the fuck. I don't. Period.

War is doing the unthinkable. Politics is getting someone else to do the unthinkable for you. You may call it cowardice. It may be depicted as cowardice. It is something else. It is power. It is hierarchy. That thing that keeps coming up that you don't want to deal with as part of nature.

16) You don't get it? Read the USMC manual on ranks. You don't get it. The seed of hierarchy is about being the seed of all rankings. You still don't get it. You are so class conscious that you don't understand the beauty of diversity in genes, in experiences and in difference. Since you only fucking pay attention to some white man talking about diversity in hierarchy and why it works in large organizations and why the USMC says that a marine has to be able to do all the positions because it is about finding strengths in DIFFERENCES not in some conformist class conscious 'natural' system. Human history is about CHANGING class positions, and socioeconomic positions. If it was all natural and not changing? It would be a system that is not from human society. Human society is INVENTED BJ. Not part of nature. Part of nature is eating, shitting, sleeping, having sex and reproducing, blood type O, A, AB, etc and melanin counts and adjusting to the land your ancestors occupied for millenia. It is not about if you were born to a baker's son that you are going to be that all of your life. It is not about a woman's career is going to be nurse or teacher or secretary for all time. It is not about a Black nanny is always going to be taking care of white women's children in the South. All that is proven FALSE. Class is not natural. It is about invention of human society. Separate science and blood types from society and the need to have free labor or cheap labor. The two are not the same natural thing. One is about material laws that govern physics, our world and biology and the other is about rich white arrogant people thinking they are smarter than the vast majority of the Planet human Earth that has people who are not from Europe. The two are not the same BJ. Do you need more clarification? Humans are not logic only. They never have been. They are part of the natural world. But their societies change over time according to the economics and the social development. Why? Welcome to the field of studying human behavior. Is it strictly logical or instinctual? Natural or invented? DO THE WORK.

Whew! I was getting worried about you for a second.

16) It is about power. End of the story.

Yes. The illiterate people of today refer to that kind of a person as "Uncle Tom," because they've never read Harriet Beecher Stowe.

17) Uncle Tom was a good obedient slave. And the way the African Americans interpreted him was a passive slave who never resisted the slave owners. Harriet Beecher Stowe was white BJ. Her experience of what that existence was like was through a white woman's perspective on what a good Black slave was. A passive one. That is what the Uncle Tom thing was about. Lol.

17) I see it like it is BJ. There were great slave owners like Jefferson who would educate his own slave children with Sally Hemmings and sent them to French pastry school and took care of them. Security and a good life. But they were still slaves and not free to make their own decisions. Then there were the slave owners like Epps from that clip and Patsy. Abominable monsters. But the bottom line was the institution of slavery was about not giving slaves human rights. Capitalism fails there too. And I am all about human rights BJ. I don't care about the better ones over the worst ones. I care about saying, abolish the system that forces the owners versus the non owners. That makes property and who owns and who doesn't? The problem between people. Didn't you hear that Black woman in John Oliver's final piece in the video? She was yelling, "We don't own anything." Poor people don't own anything BJ. Only their labor to sell to the capitalist. When the capitalist no longer needs their labor and can get a robot to do it? AI takes over many job descriptions? The lower classes no longer have their labor to sell? They don't own homes, businesses or even bank accounts? They are no one and nobodies? What will happen to such a society? Capitalism can't make people redundant and their lives worthless. It is asking for trouble if it does so. So? Time to change the rules forever. No more ideas of who is owning and who is not. All are valuable. All are part of something. All are innately human and need dignity, freedom and respect. A new day. For all of us. That is what I want. Soy la que ama la libertad. Liberte. Freedom. Hasta el final.

Materialistic bullshit like ventilators, anti-virals, hospital beds, etc.? Capitalism is not about religion. If you're looking for nirvana, it's not going to be found in capitalism. However, you will find great invention and innovation in capitalism.

18) Not in capitalism. In people you shall find great invention and innovation. Who stole Tesla's ideas eh? Edison. Lol. People will be people. Capitalism is given more credit for things it did not do. It was a system. But not a good one. Human beings will never stop being creative inventive creatures. Hopefully it will be for the advancement of the good of the many. Since they will be living lives of dignity. Which mean a home, some items there. And freedom. From deprivation and insecurity and not being allowed to be who they are. Black, or any other race of person. Who cares? Race is one of only many other things in an individual. Let them be who they are inside. If they are boring and uptight? Let them be. If they are exciting and creative. Let them be. After all, they are human.

19) The entire world is involved BJ. Look at the pandemic count? The entire world is RELATED to each other. If it weren't? You would not have the daily body count from all over the damn world. Humanity is not living in 1493 anymore senor. Have you seen the movie Arrival? I loved that movie and read the book. It is about how small minded we are with our ideas of power and competition and about how human and fragile even the most brilliant among us are in this world. As individuals we are nothing. I ran out of time again BJ. My son wants bread and hot chocolate. Stop all that typing he says. My stomach takes priority over writing to the guy from Walnut Creek. He is right. For now. I like writing to you. Despite not liking what you say. That is life.

I do. I'm not a fan of hip hop or rap, or even modern R&B. However, I think of jazz as a high art form.

21) You never studied the contributions of African Americans BJ. That is obvious. It is massive amounts of contributions. The USA is made up of a very diverse group of people. It is the precedent of what is to come next. The entire planet is going to have to cooperate and find meaning in many cultures cooperating. The USA experiment was the first of many of the future of the human race. E Pluribus Unum. But this time not about white supremacy and so on...but about the many forging and pulling the heavy weight of accomplishment via sweat and work for the advancement of the species. That will be our destiny. But only if we finally learn the lessons of history. That we are greater than any one individual parts. And only the group evolves. Never the individual. Set the priorities on that truth. And we have the key to advancement.

Take away the race-to-the-bottom wage competition and the hatred goes away with it for the most part.

22) Freedom and security. You say it like it is easy to do. Try it Blackjack21. You need a few years wrestling with wage labor issues versus greed. Lol.

Heh. They think they are exposing themselves to other cultures and are therefore superior. Superior to others for their egalitarian ways...

22) I think you are one nutty Relampaguito talking about genetic superiority and not getting the perfect gene woman pregnant and talking to the baby and saying....are babies stupid? And having her slap you. It is tough BJ. Getting a woman to tolerate your ass and your ways and enough to want to be volunteering for carrying your child for nine months and wanting a family with a guy with the dating diagram you gave me. I don't know about you Relampago. You need some romance classes or something. Talk to Potemkin the Scottish man. He is far more warm and nice. Lol. See how I tease you? :D Eres un loco with those theories. You should be honest. You are into all these teorias but when the nitty hits the gritty? I don't know...

It also led the way in bringing more people out of poverty than the ancient cultures of the world, save Britain, France, Germany and Italy with great strides in science, medicine, and industry--raising living standards through much of the world.

23)Paint the rosy picture about raising the living standards? On the backs of who again? And who got the living standards raised? Lol. I see an inequality of income gap growing not shrinking. Read the writing on the wall BJ. Change is coming.

I'm headed up to Montana in a few weeks. Unfortunately, international travel isn't an option for awhile.

24) Big Sky country. Montana. Mountain in Spanish. Another state with a Spanish name that no one thinks about where the name comes from. I like to make lists of places that I want to visit. It is fun. Even if one doesn't get to see them all.

25) I hope they realize that the biggest fight is about justice. For everyone. If it is not? Then people got to realize how hard it is to change someone by not caring. If you can't care? Don't share space with them. You share space with many others who you don't care about. Corazon BJ. Get some. Soon.

He should have simply attributed some of the information to me. I work in open source, so the information is free as is the software code.

26) Learn to realize. Knowledge is about letting it go. Not keeping it. If you let it circulate it becomes a way of growing it. You restrict it? You never can value it the way it should be valued. Kind of like currency. It is best circulating. I never liked knowledge hoarders.

I don't expect you to reply for a few weeks then? Montana vacations? I got to teach my son and get ready for homeschooling. He won't be taught reading and writing and arithmetic only.

You aren't upset I was truthful about computer coding? I had to be honest. It is not good to lie. Not even to those who do so to further their agendas. Like one Biden Avatar loving sarcastic man. :D

Tainari88 wrote:1. No, I say let them sue. If ever I become disabled I want rights. Lol. You are terrible BJ. Lack of empathy is a problem with you.

He he. So you're a Bush Republican now with a penchant for trial lawyers, eh? You have a lack of empathy for small business owners who have to go up against globalist corporate titans and who use the legislature to create new "rights" that force small businesses to shut down while they expand their market share.

Tainari88 wrote:Because the USA doesn't give a shit about constitutionality and respecting their own founding document with us Puerto Ricans, Guamanians, Virgin Islanders, Samoans, etc. Fucking invade, don't give rights and go back on your word and your own principles and then want compliance and so on from Somalian American reps from other cultures?

If you want a welfare state, that's part of the mix. I personally don't. I'd be fine going back to capitations and excise taxes and getting rid of the graduated income tax.

Tainari88 wrote:I hope the entire place gets filled with Omar types burning it all down.

They are burning it down, and the Democrats in Minnesota want the federal government to give them disaster money for a disaster they created themselves.

Simple solution. Stop voting for the Democrats.

Tainari88 wrote:Cold is being inhumane. That is how I was raised. It is part of our ethos. It is not yours. I am not part of your culture BJ.

You were raised to be cold and inhumane? Now I'm confused.

The US government had nothing to do with it. It was the Democratic party and their terrorist arm the Ku Klux Klan.

I readily state that blacks should not vote for the Democrats. If you keep voting the same way and expecting change, at some point you can only blame yourself.

Tainari88 wrote:Leave the supposedly violent black men out of your inner dialogue.

That's easy to do. 64 people got shot in Chicago this weekend, 11 died. Mostly black. Nobody cares. You want no cops. You can have no cops. Tainari88 wrote:I put in the slave patrols. Did you watch it? You never comment on accurate history.

I comment on history all the time. Slave patrols were in Southern states--i.e., Democrats. You just want to make the history about more than what the Democrats did, and somehow blame it on Republicans because you hate capitalism. You talk about "white supremacy" as though such a thing existed as some sort of political creed. Class was the main issue and race was used to pit the poor against each other. Rich people don't care about race, they care about money and power.

True, but the Democrats have other means of addressing those situations. It's Marxists who cannot accept that, and that's why they made tried turning him from a hero into something of a villain, but it was Simon Legree who was the villain, not Uncle Tom. That's why I say people today are simply illiterate. Harriet Beecher Stowe was an abolitionist. She was not trying to depict what a "good slave" should be. Good lord!

The concept of "human rights" didn't even exist back then. Rights were considered "God given" not "human."

Yes. I heard. It does make for an interesting explanation of why they burn "their" neighborhoods down. It's not theirs.

Indeed. Heck it wasn't even 10 years ago we were arguing here about whether a $15 minimum wage would introduce automated ordering in fast food restaurants. It's already here.

It already has.

 Do you know I play guitar? Do you know that I studied blues and jazz music? Probably not. Whatever. I am not a socialist, so I must be the devil and ignorant of all things.

Actually, it doesn't have to cooperate. We don't need absolute obedience to some globalist ideology. Most people don't have to deal with people outside of a 50-mile radius.

Not likely with everyone pulling statues down and trying to erase history.

Change is always coming. Did you see the woman in the video you shared? She was a bit overweight. There's no lack of food. America is a country where the poor people are fat.

@blackjack21 Where do I start with you?

Es siempre el mismo sonsonete. You need "Madrigal" by Danny Rivera. He used to sing in my husband's old neighborhood. At night that is the voice I would hear (that man had a gorgeous voice and still does). What are you up to Relampaguito on your way to the Mountains of Montana eh? Get some corazon and let it flow like 'un madrigal', til all your talk about the alleles of Black men, and the Dutch hoarders that you obsess over just become a feeling of love like listening to this lovely bolero eh? Give up the gene obsessions. It is fantasy. For now. They can't even keep that damn pandemic under control. Snipping millions of people's gene codes to fit some criteria of bullshit is not in the immediate future. You might have a bunch of evicted Californians seeking free rent soon. Lol. You need to be hosting a lot of them. Listen to those violins? Is your stone cold heart moved?

I really should just reply entirely in Spanish. Practice my typing in Spanish. Should I do it in French? No, you English only man who can't do much without the coding and the English. :p

1. I will never be a an effing Republican. I am not a Republican. You are effing around again. Time for some tune. I will never be a Republican, because I know I am free....free from the Greedy useless people who dedicate themselves to shit....and spit....and no legit....lol.

I feel like dancing BJ. I am going to dance. To hell with typing for a while. My father danced with Nancy Ortiz number 9. gorgeous woman and a great dancer. How I loved watching her to try some of those moves. It is so fun. It makes all these horrible politicians fade from your mind. All you think about is following the rhythm.

La Nancy Ortiz. My favorite. ;)

You might be a hopeless case. Insisting Obama joined the Ku Klux Klan party from the 1920s.

Lol. Those liberals in Walnut Creek could drive anyone to alcoholism. I think you need to do a descarga and forget your troubles.

I am in a very sweet mood today Blackjack.

So I will be back to answer your stuff a bit later....after I dance for a while. I used to dance for hours and hours and hours...Then we would drive back home and I would sleep like the dead...and wake up for a bit of cafe con leche.

You don't like hip hop and rap and so on? Neither do I. I love jazz though.

Potemkin loves classical music. So does my husband. He always loved Chopin and so many others. The first piece he played for me was this one:

I will be back Relampaguito to take your replies one by one. I just got to dance a bit first eh? :D

blackjack21 wrote:He he. So you're a Bush Republican now with a penchant for trial lawyers, eh? You have a lack of empathy for small business owners who have to go up against globalist corporate titans and who use the legislature to create new "rights" that force small businesses to shut down while they expand their market share.

Blackjack, I don't care about capitalism. Small business is necessary because we have not gotten to a stage where people are secure financially and wealth is done in a way that is socially responsible. Until that is accomplished? Small businesses are preferable to big corporations. But even small business owners can be greedy and unfair with employees. It is less likely but still very possible. The best structures are the ones Richard Wolff has about communally run the place. Period. With fine systems for accountability and productive value. That happens naturally when you have emotional and philosophical ties to a group. Making sure disabled people have access to sidewalks, ramps, and ways to be independent is a good thing. An inclusive thing. i like inclusivity. Nothing wrong with that. Lawsuit happy people is mostly a USA thing. Most other nations (especially in Latin America) hate going to court and do things with hardly any legal issues always clouding things up. The USA is highly litigious as a society. It is not the norm in other places BJ.

If you want a welfare state, that's part of the mix. I personally don't. I'd be fine going back to capitations and excise taxes and getting rid of the graduated income tax.

60% of the USA doesn't make a high salary at all and barely makes their bills. If they lose a job in a pandemic they are skipping rent payments and risking homeless status. The Welfare of SNAP and some basic payments especially with dependent children keeps desperation from creeping in. Thinking an excise tax is going to benefit the vast majority of workers is being obtuse BJ.

They are burning it down, and the Democrats in Minnesota want the federal government to give them disaster money for a disaster they created themselves.

You don't take the time to talk to poor people BJ in bad neighborhoods. At all. I did. For years. No one pays attention to poor people. They are mostly ignored and never heard or addressed. You have no idea about the conditions of poverty your nation goes through all the time. You should. Talk to very poor people who work all day and sometimes two jobs and will never be able to buy a home. Education is out of reach for them for a higher earning position. It is very limiting. You want to think that their lives are easy and you pile on the criticism like they are fat. Mostly they are fat because they eat low-quality high shelf life prepared foods that are about storing fat and calories and not burning them. Not because they are eating so much healthy food that they are gaining too much weight. They eat high sugar, high fat, instant shit most of the time that is easy to buy at a 7-11 for a couple of dollars when the lights are cut off and or the gas is cut off and they can't cook. I have dealt with so many poor people and the stories are similar BJ. They got tough decisions to make. Pay rent and be short on food bills and that means go to the food bank. Some of those food banks got a lot of cheap carbs to fill bellies. White bread, crackers, pasta, and rice. it is all sugar-based. Not protein, veggies that are fresh and fresh fruit and high-quality things. They are starting urban gardens in many cities and many people's lives in terms of health improve because of it. But it is still not common. You need to stop the 'stereotyping' of poor Black communities and Latin American communities and go and talk to them for days or months. If you don't? It is all bullshit you spout due to lack of doing the work.

Simple solution. Stop voting for the Democrats.

And vote for who? That racist party the Republicans? Who are a bunch of violent, ignorant racists? Or rich old white fucks who only care about themselves? You got to change the Republican party BJ. Poor people will not identify with white rich men who are callous and look down on Blacks. You fit the profile for that party. They won't like you. You are the enemy for sure. How do you plan to appeal to them? You don't appeal to them but want them to vote for your Republicans? That is the height of arrogant foolishness in political strategy BJ.

You were raised to be cold and inhumane? Now I'm confused.

Now you are being deliberately provocative. I am sorry I have to tell you that you come across as cold and unfeeling. But that is the truth about how you write BJ. You come across as cold, unfeeling, and calculated. African Americans don't like that. Neither do Latinos. They see that shit and they run from it. It could be cultural. That is true. But coldness is something very respected in some cultures and in others, it is not. It is not in mine BJ.

The US government had nothing to do with it. It was the Democratic party and their terrorist arm the Ku Klux Klan.

Now where is your logic BJ? The Democratic party is the oldest party in the USA. In terms of not having changed its name. The Whigs were dissolved. The Democratic party is very much a part of the government. And the Ku Klux Klan is more attracted by far to the Republican party in 2020 than to any other major party in the USA. That you never admit this as a simple truth has to do with your stubborn refusal to realize the Republican party has a faction that is incredibly racist. That is your problem. Not mine.

I readily state that blacks should not vote for the Democrats. If you keep voting the same way and expecting change, at some point you can only blame yourself.

Funny you should say that. I feel the same way about the PNP party in Puerto Rico and also how capitalism sucks and people keep believing it will evolve into some step above the slavery system and it keeps disillusioning them. The two-party system sucks. Both sides BJ in the USA suck. It is time to be realistic and realize the globalists are pressuring for total control over most of the governments on planet Earth. It requires a concerted, organized response from the people they are hurting the most. The working class of many nations. That is the solution. If you continue to fall for racism and divide and conquer tactics and pitting one working-class group against another and believe some genes in human beings make them superior to others? You are asking for them to stay in control for a very very long time. Do you want them out BJ? You better find a way of uniting many working-class people across many nations. Period. But you only give a shit about the American ones. For me, that is counterproductive as well as ineffective. Get a better sense of the forces driving the neoliberalism and globalist agenda.

That's easy to do. 64 people got shot in Chicago this weekend, 11 died. Mostly black. Nobody cares. You want no cops. You can have no cops. Did white people go down to the South side of Chicago and start killing black people and telling black people that they were superior? No. Black people for the most part were killing each other.

Did you see a great series called The Chef's Table? In it there is a top German chef that owns a very fancy restaurant in Berlin. He discusses how he started his career. He was a gang member and violent and did terrible things. He assaulted people and vandalized, etc. He was part of a gang and all of the members were German white kids from a part of East Berlin that was poor as hell. They burned down buildings in their own neighborhood and attacked other white Germans in their own neighborhoods. Why? He claimed it was because his mother was some kind of drug-addicted person and his father was violent and hated dealing with him and would beat him regularly. He was neglected and not loved. Do you know how many Black kids go through that in this society of yours? A lot. He finally was required to go and try to get a job. They did not know what that problematic man could become? But they dealt with it like Germans. Go and find out what he might have some talent for and develop it. He liked cooking. Flavors. Food combinations. He went and graduated with honors. No one wanted to give him a chance though for a job. Why? He had to put his neighborhood on his resume. They said no one trusted people from that part of Berlin. A bunch of white kids. But living in the 'wrong' hood. Where they assaulted each other and burned down the houses and killed each other. But they are WHITE. How can this be? It is about circumstances and life experiences and complex factors. Most criminal behavior is. You paint it as a race issue. It is not BJ. It is about many things. One of them is poverty, another is a lack of a truly strong family structure, and another component is about class conscious discrimination and lack of investment in options for youth. Many factors. Capitalism too. There are 'good' neighborhoods that capitalism rewards with rising home values, and those punished by bottoming out and crashing values on homes in those hoods. It is the way the system works BJ. I am interested in making things better. Not blaming Black people and thinking they got violent genes and are inferior. That is total racism and stupidity too. But that is what Republicans choose to do. Nothing. No talking to them, no plans, no strategy to make things better, exclusion and derision of Blacks. Good luck making them change their voting based on that BULLSHIT.

In the USA they made race and class very much linked BJ. it is a deeply race coded nation. I say that honestly. Because if it were like Puerto Rico? 60% or more of the population of the USA would be married to people of different 'races'. The majority of the nation especially in the Southern states would be mulattos and so on. Not as white as they are. They would be mixed. Not all societies are as racist as the USA is. It is very racist. White supremacy and capitalism were just the way things were for a long time in the USA. The reality is that the Tulsa Massacre of 1921? Never had a single arrest for the hundreds of dead and lynchings and the many many miles of burned to the ground homes and businesses and Black middle class and above people losing everything. Not a single white person was held to account. Do you honestly believe that if Black people had burned to the ground miles upon miles of white exclusive neighborhoods and killed hundreds of white men, women, and children and hung white men and women from trees by the neck till they were dead and laughed and danced around that horror? That not a single black person would have been prosecuted for it? No. The system is on the side of White Supremacy. If you can't accept that? It is your problem too. Not mine. The ones who control the system make the rules. The White elite doesn't give a fuck about being fair with Black communities. You had better own up to that fact. And OWN IT.

True, but the Democrats have other means of addressing those situations. They increase the minimum wage and push the lowest skilled people out of the labor force and back onto welfare rolls where they have to be a dependable Democratic voter. They also have a new N-word in the era of covid: non-essential.

Liberals and capitalism. They got the strategy for those voters. Where is the strategy for the Republicans that is not about some condescending bullshit and not acting like jackasses about African Americans? Trump did not know what Juneteenth was and did not give one fuck either. So sensitive. Lol. No, BJ, you got to realize that unless you see black people as your 'equals' and not as some low IQ, aggressive and undereducated people whom deep inside you disrespect and not really accept as your equal intellectually, financially and socially and start treating like you would some rich, white fuck whom you do respect? There won't be any real 'conversion' to the fucking racist Republican party.

Racist means "not a Democrat."

Yup, for those Black people who don't see the appeal of Republicanism it does. Latinos I talk to all the time. They say to me, "Tainari, for me the racists are all on the Republican side. I hate those people. I hate them a lot" They don't know the differences between liberals, neoliberals, and Obama types who work the system and many other forms of political realities. They do see the racism coming from that Republican party you always think is better than the devil incarnate Democratic party. That is the flaw of having uneducated people on politics pulling the lever on votes. But that is what one gets with shitty educations. Period. What do you plan to do to address that for them? 2 out of 3 Latinos voted for Obama. They will vote again for the Democrats because Trump is not particularly improving the image with the Latinos. Though he did sound reasonable and properly backpedaled his shit on Mexico when AMLO visited recently. But that is because he had to. Pressure. The $$$$ finally overwhelmed him. Pressure with politicians always works BJ.

Really. So why do I let someone live in my house rent free, pay their medical bills, etc? My self esteem does not depend upon virtue signalling to the world spouting, "I love and care about everybody everywhere!" It's empty rhetoric.

I don't care about your opinion about me BJ. You don't know me really. You don't know me in a deep way. Potemkin does. Others on here do. You? Don't give a fuck about my culture. So that will make you a person who doesn't get my complete acceptance. You don't care about Black people BJ. Or Latinos. For me? You better care about us. If you don't? Why should I think you are capable of wanting respect and love and trust from me as a friend? You don't care? How much will you be able to connect to others from those groups? if you don't care? Don't be surprised our votes won't go to your group. Period. Be realistic about that. You are the one not understanding that all human groups are going to have intelligent, educated, fun, and creative people who will make you happy inside. It is up to you to start to care from the very beginning so you can finally allow some real friendships with love and respect to happen. From that? Political exchange is productive and valuable. Cold deriding and so on? Won't get you far with any human being.

It may be a gene deletion of MAOA. That's been seen in a Dutch family, who are complete psychos. Maybe it's another reason. I think it is interesting to study these things. You apparently do not.

Don't assume Senor BJ. If you got doubts about what I might know or not? Just ask me. Don't get defensive and say I don't study hoarders from Holland on purpose. Lol. I am in politics being straight forward. If I would talk about the aggressive Black male who kills (like you do all the time)? This is knowing I have a black son I raised and who I witnessed how bad it is for them with the stereotypes and lack of justice? My experiences are very different from yours BJ. That is a fact. You are not a Puerto Rican woman or an adoptive mother of a troubled child from social services who happened to be black and also behind in school at the time of adoption. You are not thinking in Spanish, or have my reality of being a mother and a wife for a very long time. Or being a socialist, or studying anthropology for years. Or speaking other languages as well as I do English. Those are not your experiences. I don't feel like the USA is about defending my interests as you do. I see it as a society that doesn't give a fuck about my well being. Because that is my experience of it. Not yours. I hope you are capable of that minimal explanation of how my perspective might differ from yours.

You keep writing about the black men and how they are untrustworthy and who is a threat to life, safety, and the pursuit of happiness in contrast to the coder Blackjack21 who by his own statements is the decent intelligent, high IQ individual with coding skills that own property in Walnut Creek? But somehow the Black criminals might have children with these defective genes you signal so often? And yet the one with the perfect genes doesn't have any sons or daughters? Why? Because it is not so simple darling man. You got to be responsible for children in this world. It is easy to get a woman pregnant and then wash your hands of the situation. If you are truly a responsible man? You take care of the child, you make the relationship something loving, caring, and strong. Enough to create a safe and reliable cultural and social space to raise a child to adulthood. It is complex. Anything dealing with something significant is fairly to very complex in human society. I think you need to stop criticizing the people having the children and start doing the job of helping society along. That is just my nosy opinion BJ. Get your Betty Crocker BJ. If you will be a confirmed bachelor forever then I respect that too. Just don't be obsessed with the quality of genes. Because yours are not part of the genetic pool of humanity if you have no known babies or children. Maybe your sister's kids are enough eh? ;) Don't blame the liberals for your lack of Blackjack21 Juniors. Hee hee.

I can talk whenever I please. You simply choose not to listen. So you are unable to address these issues.

What haven't I addressed? Your interpretation of genetic variation as the authority. It is not. Not by a long shot. Central Africans among others are incredibly genetically varied. It is a good thing. You got neanderthal genes in there. Should I assume because it is a failed species that no longer exists and mixed genetically with the competing group of homos that you got inferior genes and as such can't understand variation and how it works in human evolution? Should I treat you condescendingly and patronizingly because of it? For not being part of my interpretation of the world? That is your style of coping BJ. Not mine. :)

You completely ignored my analysis. See, you get all bent out of shape about white people and "greed," and you think you can teach it all away. You can't. There are people with hoarding disorders who are mostly white. To live in the North as pre-modern humans, you MUST acquire a surplus and store it because there's a little thing called "Winter" that really screws things up if you don't hoard. That's not a problem in Central Africa, where there are two seasons--hot and hotter. Human traits are heritable.

That is way too simplistic for me to address BJ. Are all whites 100% pure white? Do many have African or Asian or Indian genes? The answer is that many people are mixed for thousands of years. How these 'traits' are manifested in many individuals or groups has to do with such random things as to become meaningless to project such as crass generalizations. There are African American Hoarders BJ. Mostly due to deprivation experiences in their early years. Such as irregular meals and suffering poverty for many years. They hold on to material things for a rainy day. What happens to orphans too. Romanian orphans who were fed spottily as children and get adopted out to British families. It is not an exclusive group. if you examine the New World there is a pattern for genes. Indian, African, and European. That is the basic trilogy to be found in Latin American nations and also in many Southern states. Like Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. People have been mixing for millennia BJ. I don't go for generalizations. Also, history plays a part. After the Haitian revolution in the Caribbean islands in the 18th century? Many colonial governments in the region decided to give special immigration preferences to white countries to balance out the African groups in the islands. Over time those groups 'Europeanized' the islands. Like Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico has more European genes by far than the Dominican Republic or Haiti does. Why? Immigration policy. Most of the Europeans though adapted African customs and beliefs and culture. They are called criollos or in Lousiana French dialects that is considered creoles blackjack21. Genetic variation within human populations is the norm. Not the exception. So? Making broad statements about winter hoarders and African nonhoarders doesn't take into account some very telling things. Like the history of the region. And behavior based on life experiences or psychological tendencies in that population not based on genes. But on circumstances. Environment. Poverty, senses of loss, or grief that trigger holding on to things and not throwing or sorting through excess and unnecessary possession. A lot of things to consider BJ. I don't go for the simplistic is the best with culture and human behavior. Though it is tempting to be simple. That is for Occam's razor and other theories dealing with natural science. Not social science and societies dealing with change on a daily basis.

Biden is a warm body in a suit. He doesn't represent anything at this point, as he is quite literally a proxy for the Washington establishment with diminishing agency of his own.

He is the alternative to the Trump cult in the Republican party. Do I think him a good candidate? No, he sucks and will be doing what the establishment pleases. He is awful. But that is the two-party sucky system you got there BJ.

He really isn't. He's the only mainstream politician that attacks the establishment.

I don't agree. He is a pro-capitalism piece of lying shit politician that filled DC with more spineless people without any real resolutions. It will cost the USA money and soft and hard power. He wasn't even able to get the military people on his side. Mattis and his ilk don't like him. The intelligence community and Comey don't like him. Most of this inner circle is terrified of telling him something that displeases him and he is disorganized and because the Cuban exiles in Miami are pleased he has a hard line on Cuba he hawks their wares at the White House making the presidency a Goya Foods commercial. Did you see his latest?  The neobliberals will find a way of ousting him and he did nothing for the working class rednecks and others who wanted an alternative to liberal neoliberal shit policies. He will wind up making them stronger and more powerful by forcing poor people to stand behind some Machiavellian Neoliberal types like Clinton party hacks in the demon party. That is what that asshole narcissist accomplished.

Really? I thought you said socialism was inevitable. What happened to that model future of yours? It got replaced by a dystopian one?

It is inevitable BJ. You think 40 million-plus unemployed people through no fault of their own and losing their houses and worried about dying from COVID are going to accept nothing to survive on or will they expect socialism from the federal government? You tell me? Are going to accept no unemployment insurance, no health care, no public schools that are safe, and no plan on how to cope with the pandemic on a wide SOCIALIST Scale? Where they are redundant and worthless and the minimum wage continues to be inadequate for these expensive cities and rural America doesn't have a pill-popping crisis that requires government spending? Socialist spending? What are the $300 a week extra on top of the massive additions to the American households if not socialist spending? It is inevitable. The alternative is no food stamps, no unemployment, no testing for free for COVID and etc. and people burning it all down to the ground. It is inevitable. If you refuse to see it? That is not my problem BJ.

Europe is increasingly turning toward the political right, or have you missed that development? Germany has plenty of problems of its own.

That is because there is a reaction to neoliberalism and the need to bargain with nations they have ripped off and invaded and destabilized in their quest for more geopolitical control of resources and expanding the markets to keep capitalism in play. Those displaced people have to be siphoned off (if they kill them off the takeover of resources and land becomes extremely difficult in the future because of the bad genocidal track record they get, so the 'compromise' is to throw them in working-class neighborhoods in France, Italy, Spain and the UK, Australia, the USA all the places that are part of the neoliberal economic sphere of influence. Do I have to explain this to you BJ? Don't you see the capitalist globalist deal in the proper perspective? I have my doubts about your tunnel-visioned nationalistic thoughts. They do it by sending them(the ones they need to deal with) to Europe. Because their home nations are unlivable. That is a capitalist problem. Instead of coping with the root cause? they come up with welfare states, refugee status for many displaced people. They place them in neighborhoods of working-class Natives and let them deal with the 'pressure' and go about their business in gated communities with security guards and ordering wine online and not worry about Muslims who don't drink in their nations. Lol.

I am taking a break now BJ. Be back later for the rest.

It's really not about trust, but about who is in control. Trump isn't a neoconservative/neoliberal. Biden is. You may trust Biden more than Trump, because you don't like Trump's trolling. Biden will have launched a military campaign by his first term in office if he wins. You mark my words. However, it's as you said before, you don't care. It's because you lack corazon, all this lack of caring. He he.

Trump doesn't have an ideology. He is a demagogue and not a man with any real political consistency. He is a windbag failed nouveau riche, pathological lying man. Is he capable of being another neoliberal warmonger? Yes. I do believe he is. He is not caring about the Americans running around dying of CoVid at all. He is worried about re-election. Such a callous lack of empathy if he had to send people to die for his power trip? Yes, he is capable. I don't doubt Biden will continue wars. But that is the USA for you. War all the way. I don't vote for the Democrats or the Republicans BJ. So it is failed to try to lay the blame on me. I don't go for the majority parties. I did not do it since 1984 when I was 18 years old and cast my first vote in San Juan. I did not do it in Colorado either. So you are barking up the wrong tree with me. You don't give a fuck about Black voters that are poor and you don't care about Latinos. You don't really go for Jeffersonian democracy either. What do you go for BJ? Rich white men with a property only? Voting? Go back to the 18th century BJ. The world has moved on. For more inclusivity over time. That is the trend. But the way the money and slush funds has tainted politics with Citizens United? It is terrible. You got a sold-out do nothing and get nothing of substance type of government. That is the reality. And it was never supported by me. Get a Corazon and start caring. You don't care and keep fighting for the racist Republicans even though you claim they are as useless as tits on a bull. But you don't care and keep doing shit nothing to offer the Latinos and the Blacks. Assimilate. Drop the Spanish, assimilate to become what BJ? Part of a racist party that sees me as a dunce and my sons are inferior and are supposed to be accepting some shit low-quality educations, bad socioeconomic positions and be happy with some society that doesn't consider us on an equal footing? is that attractive for someone like me? No, it is not. It won't be to a lot of others who are not rich, arrogant, white men who feel victimized by the groups that are part of a liberal bullshit cover-up scheme that they keep trying to change and can't. You are in deep shit as a group unless you start unifying many for a plan that works for many. Not just one elite group of racist men from European Irish grandmothers from 1919.

A particular class is arbitrary, but part of cooperation is specialization of labor. In a world of dynamic change, do you know who adopts to change the best? People with high IQ. Do you know who struggles the most with radical changes? People with low IQ.

Lol. So what are you going to do BJ? Not do as I did? Work on getting people to improve and making a change with efforts and lots of love and tolerance for differences? Or be at war and criticizing without wanting to invest in communities that are struggling? You better stop the criticism and do a lot. If I could get my boy to jump a lot of points and go from zero to high nineties in academics? Don't you think you can come up with a way of sharing your knowledge regardless of race or background and make the USA a better place by getting the poor kids some POWER in knowledge and education and stop with the inferior IQs and fuck everyone who doesn't fit a label.

Uncle Tom was a Christian. Good lord!

Dr. Cornel West is very religious and Christian. The issue they have with Uncle Tom is that the white abolitionists thought that saving Black people was about making them less aggressive and scary to white people, who live in fears of Black revenge, and Black power. Why do they live in fear of it? Imagine the Blacks getting power and extracting revenge on whites for what they did to them over time? It is terrifying to lose power and have some Black man as the man in charge and have a bunch of Black people growing rich and making decisions over the white people's rights, laws and income and housing, etc. Blacks don't trust white perspectives on an experience they have never lived themselves BJ. The intelligent white people who respect the Black community don't speak for them. They just support them. They don't presume to tell them who they are or try to 'save' them like if they are children or dogs that are in a cage. Human dignity starts with seeing others like Black people as equally human as you are. As your family is. That means BJ giving them human rights. To life, dignity and respect and to be free to be defective human beings like everyone else. The right to make mistakes and to be virtuous too. To be all of the human spectrum. Don't limit them to stereotypes or anything of that nature. Imagine me always thinking you are not quite human as I am while typing, thinking about you and writing to you....here he is....the less than human one BJ....a racist with nothing good or human about him. Let me patronize his ass with an answer, because after all he is beneath equal treatment. Not quite up to my standards. People read that treatment with a very good radar. They don't like it. Would you?

The concept of "human rights" didn't even exist back then. Rights were considered "God given" not "human."

What great Christians they turned out to be BJ. Believing in slavery, when in the Old Testament there were many stories about "Let my People Go." And the Egyptian Pharaohs who stubbornly refused. And God punished them. The truth is they ignored Christ for profit. A sin. Own up to it. Human rights is a better concept. So that it doesn't allow the excuse of differences to justify enslavement and mistreatment in a society. Society has to improve and progress, otherwise why suffer and suffer generation to generation and never see a better day with more humane rights for all? I would not like that dystopia? Would you?

Yes. I heard. It does make for an interesting explanation of why they burn "their" neighborhoods down. It's not theirs.

And you want them to respect a system that is oppressive to them and doesn't do anything for them in terms of education, health, housing and opportunities? Black communities can do excellent jobs protecting their own interests. They do. But if the greed is high with the globalists wanting everyone's money but no real power in the sharing of wealth creation? And they burn down Tulsa with impunity for the white criminals? How are they supposed to believe and respect what is not theirs? You tell me?

Indeed. Heck it wasn't even 10 years ago we were arguing here about whether a $15 minimum wage would introduce automated ordering in fast food restaurants. It's already here.

So what are the young ones going to do? Not only Black but Latino, Asians, Whites? When all those jobs dry up? What to do to teach the youth about hard work and respectful self-sufficiency? I say teach them to hone the skill of creativity, innovations, cooperative projects, gaining a skill that is hard to do, and also just make things happen to make it a habit that is about serving others in need. Always. That is meaningful in 2020 and in 2060 too.

It already has.

Si, it has.

 Do you know I play guitar? Do you know that I studied blues and jazz music? Probably not. Whatever. I am not a socialist, so I must be the devil and ignorant of all things.

How can you be the way you are about African Americans and say the things you say and love their Jazz and Blues music. All Mississippi Delta rooted music. Muddy Waters, and many others. I love Billie Holliday. Gloomy Sunday, "Strange Fruit" and many others. American Jazz is beautiful. Ragtime....Maple Leaf Rag my husband played for me routinely. The French love it too. Charlie Bird. So many great ones. You don't like my disapproval of your lack of history knowledge of African Americans. Well, they are 15% of all Americans. And you like to criticize them without knowledge. Is that ignorant to do that BJ? My answer is yes it is. I am willing to teach you. Along with Caribbean history. All the islands I studied systemically the histories of in my 20's so do you want to learn or not? Lol. See how I tease you? :p

Actually, it doesn't have to cooperate. We don't need absolute obedience to some globalist ideology. Most people don't have to deal with people outside of a 50-mile radius.

But that is not the case anymore for the world BJ. Everyone is connected to the world from the chair in their homes and their laptops. I am thousands of miles away from you in Northern California in Southern Mexico. Yet we interact frequency and read each other's thoughts. Are we really only dealing with people in a 50-mile radius? Potemkin sure liked Mexico. And he had never left Europe before meeting me. He loved it. People who want to connect no matter how disparate in experiences will be connecting deeply. It is a brave new world BJ. You hate my guts and think me a horrible woman you don't like at all....and I am not within a 50-mile radius....see how you need to be told this? I am smiling at you right now. :D

Not likely with everyone pulling statues down and trying to erase history.

People are sick of the confederate flag. We went over that in another thread. I think people need to study history through many lenses. But mostly through the eyes of the lower classes. After all, they are the majority no?

Change is always coming. Did you see the woman in the video you shared? She was a bit overweight. There's no lack of food. America is a country where the poor people are fat.

I already discussed why a lot of Black poor people are fat Blackjack21. The SAD diet is in full swing in poor neighborhoods. A lot of fat, white women too. Why? Standard American Diets, filled with chemicals, fillers, grease, added refined sugars and high shelf life white flour. It makes your cortisol hold on to the fat cells. It is less expensive and found at ever Circle K and seven eleven convenience stores. Also, habits die hard BJ. People get nostalgic over foods they grew up with no matter how bad they are for your health. Jello gelatins, Blue Bunny Ice Cream, Instant coffee, Coffee Mate instead of real milk in your coffee, cheap hot dogs instead of venison or so on, white instant potatoes from the food bank, canned salty shit food, and processed white bread without a good slow fermentation and whole grain type of bread. Nothing freshly pulled from the ground and tended to carefully to eat. A lot of shit. It all means the body piles on fat and not lean muscle mass. Also not enough of the right types of food, eaten at the right time of day and with the right diet for your metabolic burning. Keeping fit with a lot of sedentary activity is not easy BJ. Jimjam the cutie's solution is jogging and running a lot. My husband plays basketball a lot and also runs and jogs and walks 7 miles a day. I go up and down the stairs a lot and dance a lot if I can everyday now.

I hope you have fun in Montana. After reading all this stuff from you I realize you like me Blackjack21. That is great progress I think. But you don't like being a progressive? Hee hee. ;)

Tainari88 wrote:If they lose a job in a pandemic they are skipping rent payments and risking homeless status. The Welfare of SNAP and some basic payments especially with dependent children keeps desperation from creeping in.

They'd lose a job, because the US has free trade with countries that erect barriers to entry for US goods and services, because our politicians want to flood our country with immigrants to drive wages down, and because our politicians prevent them from making a living by declaring them "non-essential" during a pandemic.

Tainari88 wrote:Thinking an excise tax is going to benefit the vast majority of workers is being obtuse BJ.

It's not going to save them from people like Gavin Newsom, but that's an arbitrary use of emergency power--like ordering no singing in church.

Tainari88 wrote:You don't take the time to talk to poor people BJ in bad neighborhoods.

How is this a response to anything I just said?

Tainari88 wrote:You have no idea about the conditions of poverty your nation goes through all the time.

I tend to bring it up more than most. In fact, it's a frequent refrain as to why Trump became president. It's just that I don't see socialism as the solution, and perhaps that's why you choose not to hear me.

Tainari88 wrote:Education is out of reach for them for a higher earning position.

Have you heard me defending the higher education racket? I don't think so. This is one of the rackets that is going to have a hard time surviving after coronavirus. You can't suddenly say, "Ok. Now all schooling will be online and it's the same as being in the classroom" when they have been opposing that for decades. One of the weirdest turnabouts of this whole thing is Democrats demanding that schools remain closed and students school at home. Democrats have been saying for a long time that schools are where some kids get their only complete meal of the day. Home-schooled kids are dumber and not well adjusted socially, etc.

Tainari88 wrote:You want to think that their lives are easy and you pile on the criticism like they are fat. Mostly they are fat because they eat low-quality high shelf life prepared foods that are about storing fat and calories and not burning them.

Many poor people have other problems that is the source of their poverty. Poverty is often just a symptom. Drugs, alcohol, mental illness, etc. Many simply don't learn how to cook. Hell, you can feed yourself on rice and beans pretty cheaply.

Tainari88 wrote:You need to stop the 'stereotyping' of poor Black communities and Latin American communities and go and talk to them for days or months. If you don't? It is all bullshit you spout due to lack of doing the work.

That's a complete non-answer to what I said.

Tainari88 wrote:And vote for who? That racist party the Republicans?

Form another party.

Tainari88 wrote:You got to change the Republican party BJ. Poor people will not identify with white rich men who are callous and look down on Blacks.

A lot of poor people like Donald Trump. It's people like Jeb Bush who pay lip service and do nothing, because they are for driving down wages with outsourcing and excessive immigration--legal and illegal.

Tainari88 wrote:How do you plan to appeal to them?

I'm not running for office. Trump appeals to working class people by noting that many of their problems are due to outsourcing and immigration--legal and illegal. Calling him "racist" doesn't work, because that's what they call the people who have had their jobs shipped offshore. Bitter clingers, deplorables, the 47%, from both parties.

Tainari88 wrote:You don't appeal to them but want them to vote for your Republicans? That is the height of arrogant foolishness in political strategy BJ.

The Democrats have left them behind, especially if they are white. Why do you think I think the Republicans are so wonderful. Only Drlee drones on about how he's a Republican and disagrees with virtually everything about his party.

Tainari88 wrote:You come across as cold, unfeeling, and calculated. African Americans don't like that. Neither do Latinos.

Oh, so they all think the same way? There's nothing racist about that statement, is there? If I say something like "we do not see a lot of African Americans or Latinos in programming," you start calling me a racist. Well guess what? Programming is all cold, unfeeling and calculated. It's machine language. Your feelings don't matter. The compiler does not care about your feelings. So are these African Americans and Latinos running away from programming jobs? It seems you want to have it both ways, and the problem is always with white people.

Tainari88 wrote:The Democratic party is the oldest party in the USA.

I didn't say the Republicans have no racists. Mostly, they are classists and law and order types. The only appeal of the KKK to the Republicans is that there is a higher percentage of white Republicans than white Democrats. Otherwise, they pretty much don't agree. The KKK is villainized in the United States just as Hitler is villainized, because the KKK hates the Jews as well as the blacks. Trump is very friendly with Jews and with blacks. The only thing Trump has in common with the KKK is anti-alcohol and women voting.

Tainari88 wrote:It is time to be realistic and realize the globalists are pressuring for total control over most of the governments on planet Earth.

I do. That's why I think it is hilarious that the establishment manufactured Russiagate, because Russia is among the major powers that simply refuses to go along with their agenda--an agenda that I find utterly bizarre.

Tainari88 wrote:But you only give a shit about the American ones. For me, that is counterproductive as well as ineffective. Get a better sense of the forces driving the neoliberalism and globalist agenda.

I regularly note that nationalist parties are gaining power in Europe. Poland's Duda just won re-election for example. So China has concentration camps, and every now and then you get a leaked video like this of people getting loaded onto trains, just like Jews during WWII:

So what do you want me to do? I routinely suggest decoupling from China, and knock their human rights abuses. However, our major corporations make gobs of money off of them. Do you know how much cash Apple has on hand? Enough to buy the lower 80% of the S&P 500. Do you think I'm cool with Google helping China with their social credit scoring, spying on citizens, etc.? Yet, what more would you have me do?

Tainari88 wrote:Do you know how many Black kids go through that in this society of yours? A lot.

Almost 3/4s are without a father in the home. Welfare pays more to broken homes.

Tainari88 wrote:He finally was required to go and try to get a job.

Ha ha! Now, tell me that social program is something the Democrats would propose for blacks on the South side of Chicago, etc. I can hear a very loud chorus of "Racism, slavery! They are forcing black people to work in low wage jobs!"

Tainari88 wrote:You paint it as a race issue. It is not BJ. It is about many things. One of them is poverty, another is a lack of a truly strong family structure, and another component is about class conscious discrimination and lack of investment in options for youth.

Maybe you should read "Coming Apart: The State of White America 1960-2010" by Charles Murray--the man who wrote the Bell Curve, and had to rewrite it with only white people so they didn't call him "racist" and refuse to listen to his points--because you are making the same points Charles Murray is making. Are you sure you are not a secret racist and white supremacist? Or is it maybe that you refuse to listen to anyone who isn't a socialist, but you would actually agree with them if you could put your political ideology aside for a moment?

Tainari88 wrote:There are 'good' neighborhoods that capitalism rewards with rising home values, and those punished by bottoming out and crashing values on homes in those hoods. It is the way the system works BJ.

It seems we are in "violent agreement" as the Irish like to say.

Tainari88 wrote:Not blaming Black people and thinking they got violent genes and are inferior. That is total racism and stupidity too.

You are still refusing to deal with the well documented science on this: only 5.5% of black Americans have a 2-repeat allele of monoamine oxidase. It's not all blacks by a long shot, but of those who have it, about 80% of them have been in handcuffs and seen the inside of a jail cell. About 55% of blacks have a 3-repeat allele of monoamine oxidase, and about 35% of whites do. If they face socio-economic hardships, they tend to develop anti-social behavior. They seem to do better with some social programs to blunt some of the negative socio-economic factors.

People with low levels of monoamines such as dopamine and serotonin tend to get depressed. We have SSRIs and dopamine agonists to address that. People with high levels of monoamines tend to be very aggressive. Sometimes, they exhibit similar symptoms as depressed people--i.e., anxiety. One of the counter arguments to what I'm saying is that most mass psychotic killers are white men. That's also true. What's also true is that many of the mass shooters are on an anti-depressant such as Venlaxafine, when maybe it's the drug that is simply pouring fuel on the fire. They actually have a build-up of monoamines not a deficit, and they were prescribed the wrong remedy because doctors are guessing and not running physical tests on monamine levels, metabolites, brain imaging, etc. That's what I took away from reading DSM-V and a bunch of psychopharmacology books. I was horrified.

Tainari88 wrote:No talking to them, no plans, no strategy to make things better, exclusion and derision of Blacks.

Charles Murray and others have proposed almost the same thing you found so wonderful with white people in Germany, but you are unable to see the same things in a lot of people that want a reform of the existing welfare state--probably, because they do not see socialism as the solution, or somehow inevitable.

Tainari88 wrote:In the USA they made race and class very much linked BJ. it is a deeply race coded nation.

I don't disagree with the assessment. I disagree with the causes.

Tainari88 wrote:The majority of the nation especially in the Southern states would be mulattos and so on. Not as white as they are.

I think that's debatable.

Tainari88 wrote:The reality is that the Tulsa Massacre of 1921? Never had a single arrest for the hundreds of dead and lynchings and the many many miles of burned to the ground homes and businesses and Black middle class and above people losing everything.

Not many people are being arrested for the rioting today. Why? Democrats. Same people. Different time, but the same bad actors. I'm perfectly aware of news outlets like the New York Times trying to drive this wedge and pretending that it was "white people." 1619 project and all that bullshit.

Tainari88 wrote:If I would talk about the aggressive Black male who kills (like you do all the time)? This is knowing I have a black son I raised and who I witnessed how bad it is for them with the stereotypes and lack of justice?

I don't think all black males are aggressive killers. Not by a long shot. I've simply zeroed in on one biological factor in a very small subset of the African American population, which most people are unable to cope with. I've also talked extensively about social problems. For example, when people on the American left here talk about the need for gun control and how strict and ruthless they would be with gun control, I'm usually the first person here to point out that such an approach is going to fall most severely on young black men. Watch this for example--long and mostly boring police video camera footage of a young black man on his FIRST ARREST and its a series of felonies.

The kid has had a long history of problems with the school, but liberals have gone out of their way to make sure he isn't put in contact with law enforcement. However, these same liberals are terribly afraid of guns, and with the spate of school shootings, not completely unreasonably. So as they start to search this young man's backpack, not only do they find a gun, they find it is loaded with a round in the chamber and the safety off, and it's stolen. They also find another person's ID, and another person's credit card. The poor kid is 18. He won't be charged as a minor. Even the cops seem to understand this kid is in for a rough go--except for possibly busting down the offenses and trying to get a pre-trial diversion since he doesn't have a criminal record. If he gets convicted of this, how does he so much as get a job at McDonalds? I'm perfectly fine with a court ordered probation that mandates he gets a job, does it well, has his school and job attendance checked, must attend AA or some substance abuse support group, and get randomly tested. However, I can see the liberals screaming "slavery!" at forcing the kid to get a job versus going to prison.

Now, on the other hand, what has the end of stop-and-frisk and cash bail done in a place like New York City? Shootings have more than tripled. Who's getting killed the most? Black people.

Please Stop Helping Us: How Liberals Make It Harder for Blacks to Succeed
Image

You take a Drlee or a Godstud on gun control and the right to bear arms, and you get a lot of liberal tough talk on guns. Where does it impact the most though? Generally, on young black men. There are tons of laws that screw them over.

When I was a kid, a doctor friend of my father's gave me a buck knife for a present. I once had it in my pocket, and it was explained to me that it's against the law to put it in my pocket. I have to put it in its sheath and wear it on my belt. Did I understand the law? No. I thought it was stupid then, and I think it is stupid now. Yet, it gives the police a pretext for an arrest. Who gets hurt the most by laws like that? Black people. Hispanics. Poor people. Who writes those laws? Democrats, almost without exception.

Tainari88 wrote:You keep writing about the black men and how they are untrustworthy and who is a threat to life, safety, and the pursuit of happiness in contrast to the coder Blackjack21 who by his own statements is the decent intelligent, high IQ individual with coding skills that own property in Walnut Creek?

See? There you go again making up things that I never said. I give you very specific cases, very specific effects, very specific causes. You say that it is cold, calculated and unfeeling. Then you regurgitate it back to me as very unspecific, utterly general and completely bigoted--utterly unrecognizable from what I said.

Tainari88 wrote:But somehow the Black criminals might have children with these defective genes you signal so often?

First, you cannot point to anywhere where I have said a 2-repeat allele of monoamine oxidase is a defective gene. It's not. It's selected. Why? I gave you a rationale--probably that people may have functioned much better in some parts of Central West Africa where they may have had a very low amine diet. That's paleo human stuff. In 20-21st Century America, they find themselves fond of high amine foods, but some of that population cannot break them down and it can make them violent. Law is a monopoly on violence, so naturally the government takes an interest.

Some crazy white shooters that go on mind bending shooting sprees tend to be on an anti-depressant like Venlaxafine. Sometimes the symptoms of depression and aggression have similarities, like anxiety, sleeplessness, etc. Do you notice that when I defend Barack Obama, it's usually on something very specific like medical testing--having physical evidence of a problem BEFORE prescribing medicines? That's because when I'm helping people I care about that have mental health issues, I find myself reading books like this: Stahl's Essential Psychopharmacology: Neuroscientific Basis and Practical Applications (Essential Psychopharmacology Series) 3rd Edition. Do you read books like that when helping people you care about? No you don't. You haven't studied psychopharmacology Tainari88! You haven't done the work!

Or... having body cameras on police officers, so we can see what actually took place. That was Obama, and while cops don't always like it, I agree with Obama on that. Incidentally, that's what I find amusing about SpecialOlympian being so easily triggered. I can just as easily post the police doing the same thing to a white person, but he thinks "white genocide" is so funny. So I post a black person charging the cops with a weapon, and he calls it "black murder porn" and noemon red cards me. However, ask yourself why I can so easily find something like this white man getting shot by a white female police officer. (And keep in mind, I risk noemon carding me or banning me even though the entire George Floyd incident would meet his and SpecialOlympian's definition of "black murder porn")

Why is it so common? And please don't come back with something insipid like "capitalism", "colonialism," etc. Give me something a little more concrete and a little less polemical to work with.

Also, look at the comments:

so this dude took that many bullets, flopped over, and said “ow”

I'm not sure if he was wearing a vest, but it took a lot of gunshots to take him down.
She handled herself remarkably well. Had a jamb at a terrible moment, cleared it perfectly and resumed shooting this bastard. Kudos to her!

That's what I noticed too. She cleared a jammed round with someone charging her with a knife, and kept shooting. Excellent training.
I can't believe how many rounds that guy took and he was still advancing! This should clear any doubt anybody might have about why police shoot multiple times!

Best slide return failure clear by a woman that I've ever seen.
Impressive.

At least the police officer didn’t panic when her gun jammed and had the composure to re-rack the slide, and empty the mag into this dirtbag!

This is what the police deal with on a frequent enough basis that they receive a lot of training. Do you think you would handle yourself so well in such a situation? I'm guessing we'd get a news story of the Puerto Rican police officer who was stabbed and killed. It's been almost a year since my grade school buddy's daughter was killed as a field training officer up in Sacramento. She took a bullet and they had to wait for an armed up vehicle to get her. She bled out. Dead. Yet, we need to de-militarize the police?

Tainari88 wrote:And yet the one with the perfect genes doesn't have any sons or daughters?

Oh boy. I can see that this could just be a waste of my time.

Tainari88 wrote:You got to be responsible for children in this world.

Yes, it's too easy. That's why pushing recreational sex is not a good idea. Our mainstream media, academia, and politicians are frankly very irresponsible people. That's why I oppose the establishment. They are for the breakdown of the nuclear family. So is the communist party by the way.

Tainari88 wrote:Don't blame the liberals for your lack of Blackjack21 Juniors.

I don't. It's a personal choice. I live in a society that encourages the dissolution of families, so I won't start one and leave somebody with the wreckage caused by left wing ideology. Instead, I'll fight it and make the world a better place for families.

Tainari88 wrote:Your interpretation of genetic variation as the authority. It is not.

Look, I've given you a very specific gene--not genes. One. I've given you one variation of that gene, and it's low transcription for monoamine oxidase, and it's very high association with anti-social behavior. Is that absolutely deterministic? No. It's a pretty significant indicator though. When I'm noting that social effects demonstrate that anti-social behavior can be blunted in people with 3-repeat alleles, clearly I'm talking phenotype and not genotype.

Tainari88 wrote:You got neanderthal genes in there. Should I assume because it is a failed species that no longer exists and mixed genetically with the competing group of homos that you got inferior genes and as such can't understand variation and how it works in human evolution?

FWIW, you have them too. No. You should see that there is significantly less genetic diversity in Europeans and Asians. Ponder it for awhile.

Tainari88 wrote:Should I treat you condescendingly and patronizingly because of it?

That's sort of immaterial.

Tainari88 wrote:That is way too simplistic for me to address BJ. Are all whites 100% pure white? Do many have African or Asian or Indian genes? The answer is that many people are mixed for thousands of years.

So are we going down the road that "race is just a social construct"? If so, then there is no actual racism, just as there is no actual McDonalds or General Motors. It's just a social fiction we agree upon, but strictly speaking it doesn't exist.

Tainari88 wrote:Genetic variation within human populations is the norm. Not the exception.

Right, but again you aren't willing to address something very specific. You run away into generalization. Traits are heritable. If you mix people from all over the world, you will still have heritable traits. That doesn't change because you no longer have the distinct features of isolated population groups. Genes are discrete. As I said, we're nascent in our understanding of them as yet. However, that's changing very quickly.

Tainari88 wrote:Making broad statements about winter hoarders and African nonhoarders doesn't take into account some very telling things.

Delayed gratification is nevertheless an interesting behavior, and it is essential for survival in certain environments.

Tainari88 wrote:He is a pro-capitalism

We're going to be swirling in semantics if you cannot understand a political establishment as something more than "capitalism." I am pro-capitalism, and I am opposed to many people who are pro-capitalism.

Tainari88 wrote:He wasn't even able to get the military people on his side.

You mean as for putting down riots? I've said multiple times here to many people who think that the US military could simply crack down on the American people and there would be no problem--no way. The US military would get their asses kicked by the American people.

Tainari88 wrote:Mattis and his ilk don't like him. The intelligence community and Comey don't like him.

Comey has a "higher loyalty" according to his own book title, and it's not to serve the people of the United States without fear or favor. The IC has decided it can try to overthrow the US government the way it does overseas. I think they need their wings clipped severely. What do you think?

Tainari88 wrote:You think 40 million-plus unemployed people through no fault of their own and losing their houses and worried about dying from COVID are going to accept nothing to survive on or will they expect socialism from the federal government?

I told you already I expected violence well before the George Floyd incident. People who tear down statues of Fredrick Douglas on behalf of Black Lives Matter are functionally illiterate. They are not ideologues that understand the finer points of capitalism versus socialism. That's why I wrote the thread on the irony of Seattle prosecutors putting a black man behind bars for running over and killing a white female gender non-binary Black Lives Matter protester.

Tainari88 wrote:Socialist spending?

Welfare state spending. The ownership of the means of production does not change.

Tainari88 wrote:That is because there is a reaction to neoliberalism

Right. The reaction is nationalism, not socialism.

Tainari88 wrote:Trump doesn't have an ideology. He is a demagogue and not a man with any real political consistency. He is a windbag failed nouveau riche, pathological lying man.

He's not failed if he took the US presidency away from the neoliberals. I understand he's not your socialist ideal, but the fact that he defeated Hillary Clinton is an epic moment in US History.

Tainari88 wrote:He is not caring about the Americans running around dying of CoVid at all.

He's worried about the economy. I've spelled that out in the Election 2020 thread. Shutdowns will bankrupt the big cities.

Tainari88 wrote:The world has moved on. For more inclusivity over time. That is the trend.

Uh huh. So you have a Democrat mayor and a black Democrat chief of police, and a black police officer and an Asian police officer and a white police officer standing around while another white police officer has his knee on George Floyd's neck. So now you've go a full complement of genetic variation in your system of oppression.

Tainari88 wrote:But the way the money and slush funds has tainted politics with Citizens United? It is terrible. You got a sold-out do nothing and get nothing of substance type of government. That is the reality.

I don't disagree. That's why they are pushing more and more immigration when the political majority in the US opposes it. The establishment sold out long ago, but many people have realized it now. They would rather throw their lot in with Donald Trump, and God knows who will succeed him, than trust power to establishment politicians.

This was more entertaining than watching that very old movie with Michael Caine: Educating Rita
Image

In Liverpool, twenty-seven-year-old hairdresser Rita (Dame Julie Walters) decides to complete her basic education before having children, as desired by her husband Denny (Malcolm Douglas). She joins a literature course in an open university and is tutored by the middle-aged Dr. Frank Bryant (Sir Michael Caine). A clash of two cultures and different worldview.

I tend to bring it up more than most. In fact, it's a frequent refrain as to why Trump became president. It's just that I don't see socialism as the solution, and perhaps that's why you choose not to hear me.

Many poor people have other problems that is the source of their poverty. Poverty is often just a symptom. Drugs, alcohol, mental illness, etc. Many simply don't learn how to cook. Hell, you can feed yourself on rice and beans pretty cheaply.

That's a complete non-answer to what I said.

Form another party.

A lot of poor people like Donald Trump. It's people like Jeb Bush who pay lip service and do nothing, because they are for driving down wages with outsourcing and excessive immigration--legal and illegal.

The Democrats have left them behind, especially if they are white. Why do you think I think the Republicans are so wonderful. Only Drlee drones on about how he's a Republican and disagrees with virtually everything about his party.

I do. That's why I think it is hilarious that the establishment manufactured Russiagate, because Russia is among the major powers that simply refuses to go along with their agenda--an agenda that I find utterly bizarre.

Almost 3/4s are without a father in the home. Welfare pays more to broken homes.

Ha ha! Now, tell me that social program is something the Democrats would propose for blacks on the South side of Chicago, etc. I can hear a very loud chorus of "Racism, slavery! They are forcing black people to work in low wage jobs!"

It seems we are in "violent agreement" as the Irish like to say.

Charles Murray and others have proposed almost the same thing you found so wonderful with white people in Germany, but you are unable to see the same things in a lot of people that want a reform of the existing welfare state--probably, because they do not see socialism as the solution, or somehow inevitable.

I don't disagree with the assessment. I disagree with the causes.

I think that's debatable.

Not many people are being arrested for the rioting today. Why? Democrats. Same people. Different time, but the same bad actors. I'm perfectly aware of news outlets like the New York Times trying to drive this wedge and pretending that it was "white people." 1619 project and all that bullshit.

See? There you go again making up things that I never said. I give you very specific cases, very specific effects, very specific causes. You say that it is cold, calculated and unfeeling. Then you regurgitate it back to me as very unspecific, utterly general and completely bigoted--utterly unrecognizable from what I said.

I'm not sure if he was wearing a vest, but it took a lot of gunshots to take him down.

That's what I noticed too. She cleared a jammed round with someone charging her with a knife, and kept shooting. Excellent training.

Oh boy. I can see that this could just be a waste of my time.

Yes, it's too easy. That's why pushing recreational sex is not a good idea. Our mainstream media, academia, and politicians are frankly very irresponsible people. That's why I oppose the establishment. They are for the breakdown of the nuclear family. So is the communist party by the way.

I don't. It's a personal choice. I live in a society that encourages the dissolution of families, so I won't start one and leave somebody with the wreckage caused by left wing ideology. Instead, I'll fight it and make the world a better place for families.

FWIW, you have them too. No. You should see that there is significantly less genetic diversity in Europeans and Asians. Ponder it for awhile.

That's sort of immaterial.

So are we going down the road that "race is just a social construct"? If so, then there is no actual racism, just as there is no actual McDonalds or General Motors. It's just a social fiction we agree upon, but strictly speaking it doesn't exist.

Abstraction isn't stupidity. Abstraction is a controlled form of ignorance. It helps in identifying and isolating independent variables. It's not perfect, but it's useful.

Delayed gratification is nevertheless an interesting behavior, and it is essential for survival in certain environments.

We're going to be swirling in semantics if you cannot understand a political establishment as something more than "capitalism." I am pro-capitalism, and I am opposed to many people who are pro-capitalism.

You mean as for putting down riots? I've said multiple times here to many people who think that the US military could simply crack down on the American people and there would be no problem--no way. The US military would get their asses kicked by the American people.

They are neoconservatives. They want war. Trump doesn't want war. You are afraid of Trump starting a war, even though he is antiwar. You are somehow not afraid of Biden starting a war, when he is liked by the very war mongers who don't like Trump. As for the IC and Comey? Comey has a "higher loyalty" according to his own book title, and it's not to serve the people of the United States without fear or favor. The IC has decided it can try to overthrow the US government the way it does overseas. I think they need their wings clipped severely. What do you think?

Yes. I have Goya black beans in my pantry.

Except driving down their unemployment rate and driving up their wages--exactly what they wanted.

Welfare state spending. The ownership of the means of production does not change.

Right. The reaction is nationalism, not socialism.

He's not failed if he took the US presidency away from the neoliberals. I understand he's not your socialist ideal, but the fact that he defeated Hillary Clinton is an epic moment in US History.

He's worried about the economy. I've spelled that out in the Election 2020 thread. Shutdowns will bankrupt the big cities.

Uh huh. So you have a Democrat mayor and a black Democrat chief of police, and a black police officer and an Asian police officer and a white police officer standing around while another white police officer has his knee on George Floyd's neck. So now you've go a full complement of genetic variation in your system of oppression.

I don't disagree. That's why they are pushing more and more immigration when the political majority in the US opposes it. The establishment sold out long ago, but many people have realized it now. They would rather throw their lot in with Donald Trump, and God knows who will succeed him, than trust power to establishment politicians.

Lol. When are you going to stop coming up with these replies that are about what you think are problems in society? And the same cantaleta is that the Democrats are responsible? :D

Relampaguito, political parties change like the Kracken from Greek Mythology. It is the reality.

Nationalism in excess coupled with people who are nationalistic and intolerant? Are not going to be able to understand that there is a good nationalism and a bad one.

I hope they choose the good one. Because the bad one? Does mean their nation in the hands of nationalists with divide and conquer tactics? Is a disaster waiting to happen.

That is my opinion.

I have to be honest, you are not warm and cuddly or sweet like Jimjam, and I know you like Godstud. He is your idol.

I do wonder if I was in your house and were browsing your books? What would I find? The Clarion call of the Nerds who are on the Right?

I have a sneaking suspicion you like reading my opinions. Such an insistent man. The problem are the Democrats. End of the story.

The problem for me? Believing in a system that is a step above slavery.

I think you can enjoy yourself fighting with other white people BJ. You don't need my perspective anymore. I got to start using my vivid imagination and creative energy for all that is possible.

Should I reply one by one. Maybe when I am not so frustrated. Like tomorrow eh?

You want me to take responsibility for things I didn't do. Why don't you take responsibility for things I didn't do?

Tainari88 wrote:You do blame almost everything on Democrats. It is very consistent with you.

Well, in an election year, I simply combat the mainstream rhetoric. I'm simply not willing to allow the Democratic party and the media white wash the history of the Democratic party, because the left congratulates or otherwise welcomes financial balms from the welfare state as constructed by Democrats from about 1934-1968. It was still the Democratic party that did what they did. When you're talking about the confederate flag, for example, you don't seem to make any distinction as to which party created it and who it represented. When the Democrats are lamenting military bases named for confederates, it seems not to occur to you that not a single one of them was a Republican. They were Democrats.

Tainari88 wrote:And the same cantaleta is that the Democrats are responsible? :D

Look, in an election season, the Democrats routinely play the race card as though they have no responsibility for their own history. You help that narrative along by talking about "white people." There comes this notion that "white people" owned slaves, even though the overwhelming majority of whites did not. It's a lie, and a racist lie. When Democrats are talking about "Black Lives Matter," they are trying to absolve themselves of the social blowback of their very own policies, as though they had nothing to do with them. You cited Obama's tome about the prison industrial complex, but you allowed Obama to run with a narrative that ignored exactly where the dramatic increase in incarceration came from--Joe Biden's 1994 Crime Bill. So what are you going to say next? That Biden was secretly a Republican in 1994, and that's why he implemented racist policies? If you're really going to go there, you are defending the Democrats at length and blaming Republicans for things the Democrats did.

Tainari88 wrote:Relampaguito, political parties change like the Kracken from Greek Mythology. It is the reality.

They don't change their history. That remains the same.

Tainari88 wrote:Nationalism in excess coupled with people who are nationalistic and intolerant? Are not going to be able to understand that there is a good nationalism and a bad one.

Civic versus ethnic... American nationalism has generally always been civic, because there is not single ethnicity that comprises the United States, not even among "white" people.

Tainari88 wrote:The problem are the Democrats.

They are the source of a lot of problems, and they rarely take responsibility for them. Typically, they blame everything that happens under their watch on others. They are quite nasty about it too. To chide the Republicans a bit, why do you think Donald Trump won the presidency? He was willing to do the job that Republicans just do not want to do anymore--throwing the Democrats' history back in their face.

Tainari88 wrote:What would I find? The Clarion call of the Nerds who are on the Right?

Of recent political books? In the last year, I've read the following partisan political books:

1) The Plot Against the President - Lee Smith
2) Resistance (at all costs) - Kimberley Strassel
3) Unfreedom of the Press - Mark Levin
4) Witch Hunt - Gregg Jarret
5) The Case for Trump - Victor Davis Hanson

Generally, I don't like reading hopelessly polemical stuff by people like Ann Coulter. I find Trump an interesting political phenomenon, because the establishment candidates were defeated by him. Then, the establishment went into overdrive to oppose him. The Plot Against the President and Witch Hunt are interesting, because they detail the methods by which the fraud of Russiagate was exposed among other things. Generally, it's not known to the public at large, because the mainstream media doesn't cover it. It's known to people who follow politics closely. Resistance (at all costs) gives another perspective on rank-and-file bureaucrats thwarting the implementation of policies--beyond the criminal conduct of Comey et. al. The Case for Trump details how Trump appealed to working class people, and establishment candidates couldn't--and why he should be taken seriously. I think that has been the biggest mistake of the last four years for the establishment. If you don't have an ideologue, you don't necessarily have someone who is hopeless, thoughtless or disorganized. In many respects, you get a pragmatist. Unfreedom of the Press is a thoroughly researched book detailing the back and forth between the press and political parties, with a significant focus on the Democrats. However, it does note Republicans too.

Otherwise, my general political reading this year has been:

6) The Madness of Crowds - Douglas Murray
7) The Storm Before the Calm - George Freidman
8) Disunited Nations - Peter Zeihan

More general reading:

9) Sea Power - James Stavridis
10) Prisoners of Geography - Tim Marshall
11) Revenge of Geography - Robert D. Kaplan

More work related reading:

12) Innovators Dilemma - Clayton Christensen
13) Extraordinary Leadership - Robin Sharma
14) Atomic Habits - James Clear
15) Thinking, Fast and Slow - Daniel Kahneman

Afghanistan/Iraq War related reading over many years:

16) Level Zero Heroes - Michael Golembesky
17) Outlaw Platoon - Sean Parnell
18) Lions of Kandahar - Rusty Bradley and Kevin Maurer
19) Zero Footprint - Simon Chase and Ralph Pezzullo
20) House to House - David Bellavia

You'll find that all my hard back books are technical now. I made the transition to Kindle some time ago after moving a few times with probably a few thousand pounds of books that I got tired of killing myself moving from place to place. I've also been starting to use Audible, since I read and write all day long anyway.

The labor saving devices of the industrial revolution, and largely developed by liberal capitalist societies, have done more to bring people out of physical poverty than anything before it in human history. It's so profound that we consistently have to redefine what poverty is and put it on relative terms with the very rich.

The overwhelming majority of whites were barely more than slaves. Most whites from the womb to the tomb spent their short lives eking out a subsistence living through excruciating labor, they didn't have the right to vote and if they tried to organize and agitate for a better deal the bosses sent in the cops or the military or the private security gun thugs to brutally crush them. Guys like me only got the vote like 30 years before the blacks. Woketard history is fakewad bullshit.

Blackjack21, I learned a lot about Anglo perspectives believe it or not from Potemkin. More Anglo than he is in culture is hard to find. But he is a Communist and as such he has his point of view. He is also a scientist. I love his explanations. Learned a lot from him over the years. What does it mean BJ 'Why don't you take responsibility for the things I didn't do?' what does it that mean Senor?

I find your perspective on this very interesting yet intransigent Blackjack21. I studied international political parties. Systemically. One of them is the Partido Nuevo Progresista. It is the most conservative party on the island. The rest are left or far left. They were founded in 1968 as a reaction to Castro and Cuba pulling away and the Cuban Missile Crisis. Puerto Rico's politics was either about complete independence or some form of transitional autonomy. Never integration with the USA. The 'handbook' for selling the concept of statehood to the Puerto Rican people was "Statehood is for the Poor". FDR calmed the nationalist movement in PR with welfare BJ. Buying off votes. Like they did the ghetto dwellers in the USA mainland. Over time the PNP would vacillate between the Republican party like Luis Fortuno and the Democrats like with Ricky Rossello and his father Pedro Rossello. Why am I explaining this to you? Because the USA's Democratic party is very much in line with the political evolutions in swinging from the Right and the Left within different historical periods. That is quite common in human political histories. Another example is el PRI (Partido Revolucionario Institucional) that was founded by the Mexican Revolution from the 1920s BJ. It was a very radical land reform party. And was all about transforming Mexican society. Over time it became the party of the elite in Mexico, highly conservative and also corrupt and very anti-worker and anti-worker rights. The original intention was the opposite BJ. So the Democratic Party is not particularly unique in human history. I find it interesting that you don't accept that as a way to cope. Spain has extremely interesting political party histories. So does Italy and France. You should study how many of them became defunct and how many transformed from very Leftist parties to centrist and rightist parties over time. It happens A LOT. I just find it interesting that you want to think parties are kind of static BJ. The Dixiecrats are not the Liberals and the Democratic Socialists of the 2020 party at all. I understand that perfectly. I don't know why you can't let that go? I am curious.

They play the race card BJ because it works for them. I detest the liberals for their hypocritical bullshit about justice. They are not interested in justice BJ. They are interested in retaining their fucking corrupt hold on corporate power and never doing a damn thing for the lower classes. Fake fucking liars mostly. I know that. Unfortunately, the liberals in the media and in the mainstream cultural society are about social acceptance of this or that racial group but in terms of real policies that are just? They don't care!! But the Republicans make it very easy for them to win over the votes from Blacks and others. Why? The Republicans are too much in the pocket of big business interests and are rife with racists both overt and discrete ones. So? Because of the lack of true variation of parties available to address these concerns? You got a horrible set of options for the average voter BJ. I go for the radical Left as much as I can. Bernie was a compromise with me. But he was not selected. The Democratic Clinton style Machiavellians are in charge again. So? That is not a good thing. Neoliberal bullshit again. They are really terrible at not wanting a win. They just want some money. Spineless people and sellouts of the worst sort.

They don't change their history. That remains the same.

they don't peddle KKK memberships anymore BJ. They left that shit in the past. Now it is about being comfortable and spouting a lot of cheap rhetoric while pushing conservative and ultra hypocritical policies. that party is going to get what is coming to them BJ. Of that I have no doubt.

Civic versus ethnic... American nationalism has generally always been civic, because there is not single ethnicity that comprises the United States, not even among "white" people.
I think you need to do deep studies into race relations in the USA's history. That library of yours is not rich in that at all.

No, BJ, the Republican party is full of elitist neoconservatives and neoliberals. They have betrayed your average American worker voter a lot. But I think American voters are not particular well educated on political science BJ. Most nations are not but the USA is particularly bad. Republicans are not an alternative for many people. Too filled with people who don't know how to differentiate between libertarianism and authoritarian types of police states. Fascists and almost provincial nationalism is very much part of their political identity. The nation's demographics are changing too Blackjack.

I can't list my reading list BJ. It is mostly in Spanish about Ancient Mayan history. Books are extraordinarily expensive in Mexico BJ. Not like in the states. Ebooks are rare.

I admire really brilliant statespeople BJ. They need to be usually multilingual, well educated people with fantastic educations, but coming from poor or working class backgrounds, with fantastic organizational skills and incredibly courageous, with principles and natural leaders with talent. They got to be from the lower classes, speak many languages have great educations and be super talented orators, communicators and leaders. Those are my favorite politicians. Trump doesn't qualify. Lol. I find him a dud. He might be your solution he sucks. I go for really rare people. The few and the brilliant. I know who they are too. Most of them got jailed and tortured by the government and wind up taking over the presidency and the government. Those people kick ass in history. Trump? An asshole. Lol. Not up to Azuquita's standards. He is not even a Juan Peron BJ. He is not into the los descamisados is he?

Otherwise, my general political reading this year has been:

6) The Madness of Crowds - Douglas Murray
7) The Storm Before the Calm - George Freidman
8) Disunited Nations - Peter Zeihan

More general reading:

9) Sea Power - James Stavridis
10) Prisoners of Geography - Tim Marshall
11) Revenge of Geography - Robert D. Kaplan

More work related reading:

12) Innovators Dilemma - Clayton Christensen
13) Extraordinary Leadership - Robin Sharma
14) Atomic Habits - James Clear
15) Thinking, Fast and Slow - Daniel Kahneman

Afghanistan/Iraq War related reading over many years:

16) Level Zero Heroes - Michael Golembesky
17) Outlaw Platoon - Sean Parnell
18) Lions of Kandahar - Rusty Bradley and Kevin Maurer
19) Zero Footprint - Simon Chase and Ralph Pezzullo
20) House to House - David Bellavia
21) Foxtrot in Kandahar - Duane Evans
22) Hammerhead Six - Ronald Fry
23) Living with Honor - Salvatore Giunta and Joe Layden
24) The Reaper - Nicolas Irving and Gary Brozek
25) The Last Punisher - Kevin Lacz
26) The Way of the Knife - Mark Mazzetti
27) The Islamic Phoenix - Loretta Napoleoni
28) Pale Horse - Jimmy Blackmon
You like a lot of military history BJ. I noted that on your profile too. I studied some military campaigns mostly famous ones. But not a lot of in-depth things. You never mentioned if you joined the military. I don't think you did BJ. My father was in the Air Force. It is interesting. He found it in the 1950s very racist and he found a lot of interesting stories related to military history BJ. it is a separate culture. It is no mistake that Mattis doesn't like Trump.

You'll find that all my hardback books are technical now. I made the transition to Kindle some time ago after moving a few times with probably a few thousand pounds of books that I got tired of killing myself moving from place to place. I've also been starting to use Audible, since I read and write all day long anyway.

My husband reads English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, but he prefers Spanish by far. He did not learn English really til he was about 26 or so years old. Chinese he learned in his 30s. He has a very thick Spanish accent on both his English and his Mandarin. He would never write in PoFo. He hates writing in the English language. He writes mostly in Spanish. I wish we could have some Kindles in Spanish only for him as well. He would not like your politics at all. My husband is not into conservatism at all. Somtehing about Annatar reminds me of how my husband is. But he is not an authoritarian. He just has the best heart I have ever seen. Mucho corazon. Something I greatly love in a man. Along with a very strong sense of responsibility and duty and a work ethic and not lying. How I love that. He only lies to me about parking tickets. He gets them consistently and I always scold him for that shit. I hate paying them and losing money over some impulse to park in the wrong spot all the time. Hee hee.

I do, or I wouldn't bother responding. I do not have to agree with someone's views to entertain them.

You make me go through every emotion in the book. You piss me off and you make me laugh too. Hard. And you make me angry and you make me think and you give me food for thought. I hardly ever agree with you BJ. But I chalk that up to not being white, not being a man, not being of your class and of being from a totally different culture. Also I have a very different personality than you. I like extremely intelligent, extremely well read men, with a lot of sensitivity, a lot of charm, a lot of artistic talent and a lot of caring and loving and just sweetness. Fire too. Such rare creatures. I think the only other man with those qualities is Potemkin for sure. But it seems like you like being a bit of a maverick and a loner maybe. I married the poet. At heart and in his mind. I am of extreme luck with love in this world BJ. I have been spoiled by men who loved me deeply in this life. My father, my husband, my sons. My friends. Many loves. Nothing better in all of the world than that. Maybe that is why I stay in a forum full of males eh? I don't care. They never hurt me at all. The men never betrayed me. That is not the story for many women BJ.

The labor-saving devices of the industrial revolution, and largely developed by liberal capitalist societies, have done more to bring people out of physical poverty than anything before it in human history. It's so profound that we consistently have to redefine what poverty is and put it on relative terms with the very rich.

Where did they get the productive values? People. People are the mass consumers, the mass producers, the ones with their daily activities create economies. People are the source of all human wealth BJ. Did you see Jeffrey Robinson's calculations of how much hundreds of thousands of slaves generated in wealth for the Southern states? It is astronomical.

The source of all wealth are people. Technology should be lifting the burdens of constant production from people and giving them free time for what is wonderful in this world. Self development, education, self realization, improving their lives and their quality of life and building wonderful things like better homes, better options and better families and more human potential brought forward for everyone to pull into a new world filled with the power of human talent. That is the kind of focus I want in politics BJ.

I want that. Not people felling trapped, pressured and out of a way out and with dreams never realized.

I love human beings too much to think they will only ever be selfish bastards til the day they die. I am not into that. I never will be.

I am headed to this beach here BJ. to enjoy a Sunday afternoon with my baby boy. Who is long and tall now like his father. I think he will be six feet one inch tall like his father. And not be five feet six inches tall like his mother.

I love watching him grow. He says I am supposed to live forever. Unacceptable for me to die he says. No one knows the future but I tell him, "Don't worry Mommy is not going to die. Coronavirus won't knock me out. And it it does? I will still love you. Wherever I may be." :)

Mead and Baldwin arrive at one of the most profound ongoing threads of this long conversation — the question of guilt, responsibility, and the crucial difference between the two in assuring a constructive rather than destructive path forward:
MEAD: There are different ways of looking at guilt. In the Eastern Orthodox faith, everybody shares the guilt of creatureliness and the guilt for anything they ever thought. Now, the Western Northern-European position and the North American position on the whole is that you’re guilty for things that you did yourself and not for things that other people did.

[…]

BALDWIN: The police in this country make no distinction between a Black Panther or a black lawyer or my brother or me. The cops aren’t going to ask me my name before they pull the trigger. I’m part of this society and I’m in exactly the same situation as anybody else — any other black person — in it. If I don’t know that, then I’m fairly self-deluded… What I’m trying to get at is the question of responsibility. I didn’t drop the bomb [that killed four black school girls in Birmingham]. And I never lynched anybody. Yet I am responsible not for what has happened but for what can happen.

MEAD: Yes, that’s different. I think the responsibility for what can happen, which in a sense is good guilt — which is sort of a nonsensical term —

BALDWIN: Yes, but I know what you mean. It’s useful guilt.

MEAD: Responsibility. It is saying I am going to make an effort to have things changed. But to take the responsibility for something that was done by others —

BALDWIN: Well, you can’t do that

Tainari88 wrote:What does it mean BJ 'Why don't you take responsibility for the things I didn't do?' what does it that mean Senor?

You tell me to take responsibility for things like the Democrats burning down black neighborhoods in Tulsa, because I'm white. I'm saying, I'm not responsible for doing that. I'm just imploring you to take responsibility for it. After all, and don't you know, that when there is a conflict between Hispanics and blacks, Hispanics immediately become white? Don't you remember George Zimmerman? He wasn't Hispanic anymore when he killed Trayvon Martin. It's interesting how that happens, isn't it?

Tainari88 wrote:FDR calmed the nationalist movement in PR with welfare BJ. Buying off votes. Like they did the ghetto dwellers in the USA mainland.

See, we aren't so far apart in terms of analysis are we?

Tainari88 wrote:So the Democratic Party is not particularly unique in human history.

Undoubtedly. Times change. I'm just saying their history has not changed. If they want to run around calling people "racist," perhaps they should spend a little more time in the mirror. If they want to say police brutalize black people (particularly in large urban areas), perhaps they need to reflect on who has political control of the police in those venues.

Tainari88 wrote:I just find it interesting that you want to think parties are kind of static BJ.

I don't think they are static. I think they are often quite hypocritical. Do "white people" need to be told that "black lives matter"? Or is that a way to deflect from the fact that the Democratic party is in charge of the police where most of these problems occur, and their answer it to blame it on "white people", insinuating that it is Republicans in a place where Republicans have virtually on political control.

Tainari88 wrote:I understand that perfectly. I don't know why you can't let that go? I am curious.

Empiricism matters. Ideology tends to divorce itself from reality. Like Marx sees class conflict, but his ideology completely ignores the physical human struggle to survive, and sort of bakes all problems down to class conflict. Liberalism isn't Marxism, but it is still ideology. There was plenty of racial and ethnic diversity in Minneapolis, but diversity didn't prove to be some sort of strength. It didn't create solidarity. It seems to have created apathy.

Tainari88 wrote:But the Republicans make it very easy for them to win over the votes from Blacks and others. Why? The Republicans are too much in the pocket of big business interests and are rife with racists both overt and discrete (sic: discreet in that context) ones.

Oh, I agree to a significant extent. However, I don't think it's some profound rootedness in racism. It is most certainly rooted in class. Lincoln was a railroad man, and the Republicans inherited what was left of the Whig party.

Tainari88 wrote:Bernie was a compromise with me.

Not for me. I'm still capitalist, but I cheered Bernie on because I didn't want someone like Biden to win. He's just the flip-side of Jeb Bush.

Tainari88 wrote:they don't peddle KKK memberships anymore BJ.

That's Antifa and Black Lives Matter now. How many times have you heard of Republicans sending in operatives to start fights at Democrat rallies? Almost never, right? Their dirty tricks are things like Watergate, or exposing a skeleton in someone's closet.

Tainari88 wrote:They left that shit in the past.

They did, or they white washed the history and changed tactics, still keeping blacks under their boots?

Tainari88 wrote:I think you need to do deep studies into race relations in the USA's history. That library of yours is not rich in that at all.

I can't find it, but I used to have all US Supreme Court cases on CD-ROM. I like reading court cases as a primary source of information. For example, the "anchor baby" concept starts with U.S. vs. Wong Kim Ark back in 1898, at a time when capitalists were using Chinese labor to undercut the cost of Irish labor. It was a long period of time from the building of the transcontinental railroad up to the early 20th century. The Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 was introduced by Horace Page and signed into law by Chester Arthur, for an example of Republican racist legislation. Page prevented Chinese women from emigrating to the United States previously, probably to stop the Chinese labor immigrants from breeding. It was made permanent by the Geary Act of in 1902. Geary was a Democrat, and Geary Street in San Francisco is named for him. US immigration laws were explicitly racist, because a lack of social cohesion undermined domestic tranquility among other reasons.

Shall I elaborate? Now why would the saintly Republicans do such a thing (sorry, I have to tweak you back), it's because of other nasty events like the Rock Springs Massacre. So what happened there? "White people" attacked Chinese people, because they didn't like the epicanthic fold of their eyes. Ok. That's not really true. The "white people" were largely Irish and were working in the coal mines for the railroad, and they were trying to form a labor union (white privilege). So the railroads tried breaking strikes and the union by bringing in Chinese laborers, AND giving Chinese workers PREFERENTIAL hiring treatment over whites if the agreed to work for lower wages. Racism in hiring against whites... It led to violence--the lack of domestic tranquility. Who was the outspoken "racist" group in this case? The Knights of Labor. Like the Democrats, the Knights of Labor were never specifically linked to or arrested for the riots. Since the Republicans were a pro-business party, the highly racist union organizers became Democrats.

Oh... I think I may know a little bit more about racial history in the United States than perhaps you think? Or do you want to pretend that labor unions (and their violent methods) had nothing to do with this, or that white people never experienced racial discrimination in hiring? It's just been "white privilege" the whole time?

Tainari88 wrote:No, BJ, the Republican party is full of elitist neoconservatives and neoliberals. They have betrayed your average American worker voter a lot.

Many Republicans figured this out. Why do you think I didn't cast a vote for president in 2008? I couldn't vote for McCain. I couldn't stand the guy. I couldn't stand Romney either, but I voted for him because of Obama scuttling at Benghazi, letting his own ambassador get killed. That's what it took for me to vote for Mitt Romney.

Tainari88 wrote:Trump doesn't qualify. Lol. I find him a dud.

You already diagnosed him properly: he is not an ideologue. That makes him interesting in an age of polarized political parties. He's not an academic, certainly not. That doesn't mean he's stupid though. That's where people get into trouble underestimating people, or as George W. Bush put it comically "they misunderestimated me."

Tainari88 wrote:You like a lot of military history BJ. I noted that on your profile too. I studied some military campaigns mostly famous ones. But not a lot of in-depth things. You never mentioned if you joined the military. I don't think you did BJ.

Yes. I like Bernard Cornwall's Sharpe series as well. The TV series is good too, starring a young Sean Bean back in the 1990s.

Tainari88 wrote:It is no mistake that Mattis doesn't like Trump.

Mattis doesn't like Trump for probably two reasons: one, Trump isn't well-read in law, politics or military history. That's different from stupid, but among higher ranking US military officers it is considered a serious deficiency; two, Mattis is in with the neoconservative/neoliberal cabal, and they are into kicking ass with the military. Unfortunately for them, they threw out the Powell Doctrine, and now war is not popular. They should have taken Colin Powell a bit more seriously.

Tainari88 wrote:He has a very thick Spanish accent on both his English and his Mandarin.

If I hang out with my Russian friends, I can get into their accent and speak the few hundred words of Russian I know with no accent. It freaks Russians out when they first meet me.

Today, we have machines that can do the work of thousands of men, and that is what has left rural parts of the country much poorer. I can do math, but nowhere near as fast as a computer. We can marvel at the accountants of yore, but they would be mesmerized by what we consider a mundane spreadsheet. The truth of the matter is if we knew what life was like as a rich person 200 years ago and had the opportunity to switch to that standard of living, most of us--those of us in our right mind anyway--wouldn't do it in a million years.

Indeed; one only has to read the diaries of Samuel Pepys to realise the truth of that. However, you are missing (or trying to evade) the point @Tainari88 is making: that huge numbers of human beings were being deprived of their liberty and worked to death in order for a tiny hereditary elite to have more resources than they could possibly have any use for. For example, William Beckford was one of the wealthiest men in England, and he spent most of his wealth building follies, including the (in)famous "Beckford's Tower", which eventually collapsed into a pile of rubble. There are three beliefs in modern Capitalism that affirm it's grip on the human mind even today;

1. ''trickle down economics''; if we free the Rich to do whatever they want, those poorer then themselves will have jobs and be employed, getting at least something from the Rich's administration of their labor.

2. The ''Alger Hiss'' stories; in this system, while so many aren't doing so well even for basic survival, with enough intelligence, hard work, thrift, and a keen eye for opportunities and networking, absolutely anybody could become one of the Rich.

3. If you are suspicious of the truth of those first two beliefs, the third belief is that you must be evil/insane for suggesting that there might possibly be a better way, congruent with human nature.

However, in keeping with the spirit of this thread, the issue of ''Race'' perhaps has something more to do with matters than a Marxist critique. If one fails at realizing belief #2 in one's life, perhaps there is a biological inferiority at work, the Social Darwinists and Eugenicists might say.
