Honestly, 4 years in and I still don't know how the fuck this guy got through the primaries let alone the election. I am still speachless.
How is this non-religious, 3 wives, porn star cheater that hung with sex offenders/pedo (and who knows what else) gains the favor of "evangelicals".
How is this New York socialite con "artists" (and I put it in quotation because there is nothing artistic about this guy) won the favor of rural voters.
How this supposed billionaire that is afraid to show actual proof that he is a billionaire won the support of his voters.
Four years in, and it makes as little sense as it did back then, I wonder if I am about to wake up at some point and find out that this was the silliest virtual-reality-dream sickest april's fool practical joke ever imagined.

Who wants to take a picture with Biden? A lot of people want to take a picture with Donald Trump, even before he was President.

You seem to be assuming that reality itself cannot be the silliest virtual-reality-dream sickest April Fool practical joke ever imagined. In fact, so far as I can make out, reality has always been the silliest virtual-reality-dream sickest April Fool practical joke ever imagined. When Trump won the Presidency, it did not surprise me one iota. After all, worse people than him have gained even greater power throughout history. This idea that "sanity" is the usual state of affairs and "craziness" is completely separate and on the fringes is just not correct. As John Cleese once pointed out, "when I was young, I thought the world was basically sane with patches of insanity. And now I know it's exactly the other way around." Lol.

Just typical response when they feel some post is against their belief.

I agree that Member Hindsite's habit of doing this is so despicable, that even I sometimes think he needs to be "shut up" ...

Worse people? Sure. Worse people that are this incompetent? Probably under some monarchy system, I cannot think of elected.

So you apparently believe conservatives should not have freedom of speech.

@Hindsite doesn't understand what Freedom of Speech entails in the USA, and that the 1st Amendment is there to prevent the government from censoring freedom of speech, and doesn't apply to any and all cases.

That says rather more about the American electorate than it does about Donald Trump, I think. :)

Of course. The electorate that acts in this tribalistic manner and the media that manipulates and exploits this.

In general, everyone, include myself, would abuse our freedom of speech some of the times, and would better shut up than have talked. It is very different from arbitrarily deciding someone "does not deserve freedom of speech", although I do hold such views against some people, just not conservatives (which I sometimes align myself to)
