Biden is going down in flames. Like Hillary Clinton, he's guilty. He will never be convicted of a crime though.

Taking a look at mail-in ballots returned and early in-person voting in some battleground states by party breakdown, and how the total compares to 2016:

  • Ohio: R 48% (+1), I 13% (+1), D 39% (-2), +104% (-39)
  • Michigan: R 41%, I 20%, D 39%, +206% (-60)
  • Texas: R 53%, I 10%, D 37%, +194%
  • Wisconsin: R 42% (+4), I 22%, D 36% (-4), +276% (-78)

Here's the latest from RealClearPolitics:

Over the past week, Biden's lead in the RCP's average betting odds has regained over half of the ground he lost last week, increasing to Biden +30.5 (D+6.4).

RCP National Average: Biden 50.8 Trump 42.7 Spread Biden +8.1 (R+0.9)
Battleground States Average: Biden 47.8 Trump 46.4 Spread Biden +1.4 (R+0.8 ) (Texas and Wisconsin have both moved back onto my Battleground list)

    Electoral College Map: Biden 262 (-10) Trump 126 (-38) Toss Ups (spread <= +5) 150 (+48)
Electoral College No Toss Ups: Biden 355 Trump 183
Electoral College No Toss Ups (<=Biden+3): Biden 278 Trump 260 (R+11)

    Battlegrounds
    Arizona: Biden 48.8 Trump 46.4 Spread Biden +2.4 (R+0.8 )
    Florida: Biden 48.6 Trump 47.1 Spread Biden +1.5 (D+0.1)
    Georgia: Biden 47.2 Trump 46.4 Spread Biden +0.8 (R+0.4)
    Iowa: Biden 46.8 Trump 45.8 Spread Biden +1.0 (R+1.5)
    Maine CD2: Biden 44.0 Trump 46.0 Spread Trump +2.0
    Nevada: Biden 48.0 Trump 44.0 Spread Biden +4.0 (R+0.7)
North Carolina: Biden 49.2 Trump 47.7 Spread Biden +1.5 (R+1.2)
Texas: Biden 45.5 Trump 49.0 Spread Trump +3.5
    Ohio: Biden 47.0 Trump 47.3 Spread Trump +0.3 (D+0.4)
Wisconsin: Biden 49.3 Trump 44.7 Spread Biden +4.6

    2020 vs. 2016
    Top Battlegrounds: 2020 D+3.8 2016 D+3.8 Spread Trump +0.0 (D+0.7)
    RCP National Average: 2020 D+8.1 2016 D+3.8 Spread Biden +4.3 (D+0.6)
    Favorability Ratings: 2020 D+17.7 2016 D+13.8 Spread Biden +3.9 (D+1.4)

For the Senate, as per the Cook Report, this week there are no shifts. Giving each party 2/3 of their leaners, 1/2 of the toss-ups, and 1/3 of the opposite party's leaners, this would give the Democrats 51.8 and the Republicans 48.2:

  • No election Democrat (35)
  • Safe Democrat (10): Delaware (D), Illinois (D), Massachusetts (D), Minnesota (D), New Hampshire (D), New Jersey (D), New Mexico (D), Oregon (D), Rhode Island (D), Virginia (D)
  • Leans Democrat (3): Arizona (R), Colorado (R), Michigan (D)
  • Toss-Ups (7): Georgia (R), Georgia (R), Iowa (R), Maine (R), Montana (R), North Carolina (R), South Carolina (R)
  • Leans Republican (4): Alaska (R), Alabama (D), Kansas (R), Texas (R)
  • Likely Republican (1): Kentucky (R)
  • Safe Republican (10): Arkansas (R), Idaho (R), Louisiana (R), Mississippi (R), Nebraska (R), Oklahoma (R), South Dakota (R), Tennessee (R), West Virginia (R), Wyoming (R)
  • No election Republican (30)

And for the House, again per the Cook Report, there are some changes this week, all in the Democrats' direction. Giving each party 2/3 of their leaners, 1/2 of the toss-ups, and 1/3 of the opposite party's leaners, that gives us Democrats 239.7 (+2.2), Republicans 195.3. So again absent a wave that's a small Democratic increase from 2018's 235 D / 199 R:

  • Safe Democrat: 191 (+1)
  • Likely Democrat: 18
  • Leans Democrat: 19 (+1)
  • Toss-Ups: 26 (+1)
  • Leans Republican: 15
  • Likely Republican: 13 (-3)
  • Safe Republican: 153

There are eleven governors up for election, and once again no change from last week. This would give us a slight shift to Democrats 23.5, Republicans 26.5—maybe the Republicans will net a +1:

  • No election Democrat (20)
  • Safe Democrat (2): Delaware (D), Washington (D)
  • Leans Democrat (1): North Carolina (D)
  • Toss-Up (1): Montana (D)
  • Leans Republican (1): Missouri (R)
  • Safe Republican (6, +1): Indiana (R), New Hampshire (R), North Dakota (R), Utah (R), Vermont (R), West Virginia (R)
  • No election Republican (19)

Well, if you want to get together, give me a call.

I'm not riding as much now, but I will wind up tripling my mileage from last year.

I think this is going to be a tough winter for Florida..

I went down on the cement on Congress street like I was shot. Lay there writhing in pain. Two days later I was injected with VERY powerful drugs and had 3 screws inserted. All I want to do is sleep. this will take awhile.

To stay on topic, I am enjoying watching Fat Donald flailing about in desperation. It is said he had a good debate ……. I suspect this is because he managed to refrain from endlessly screaming nonsense

He probably understood that interrupting everyone all the time in a presidential debate isn't approved of by the public, plus the moderator was like an experienced elementary school principal who could even handle Eric Cartman perhaps.

The Trump campaign is desperately trying to make the election a referendum on Hunter Biden, a man who is objectively cool and gets sweet do nothing dollars while fucking and partying, because the White House doesn't want you to think about about its bungling of Covid.

In short, they're trying to recreate the "But her emails!" scandal from the 2016 election but they fail to recognize the following:

1) Hillary had roughly 30 years of cottage industry Clinton Murder Conspiracy cranks making a living on casting her and Bill as evil incarnate, whereas Biden was just VP and nobody outside of Delaware knew who he was before 2008. The average voter's understanding of Biden prior to 2016 was "Obama's VP" and maybe some Onion articles about Biden washing his Thunderbird in the White House driveway while crushing cans of Miller Lite.

2) Attacking the nominee's son for not being perfect doesn't land outside of people who live in the moneyed class like Trump, who send off their failsons and hide them from the public eye. Regular people can relate to the idea of a relative or friend who didn't live up to their potential due to addiction. In fact, people tend to like a person more when someone insults their child and they say, "I know he's not perfect but he's my son and I love him." That is a relatable and normal experience for a large number of Americans.

3) They just have no idea what they're doing in general, nor do they understand how they won in 2016. So they're tossing shit at the walls and praying any of it will stick. They are desperate for ideas, and even if the ideas don't land they at least keep the conversation off of the president's disastrous track record with Covid.

Like I can't imagine how much of a dumbass you have to be to think Trump paying a porn star to watch Shark Week with him while cranking his yank, which Stormy Daniels described as "mushroom shaped," is fine but Hunter basically being a private citizen who recorded himself having sex once is A Step Too Far.

In short, the dumbest people to walk the Earth, Trump supporters, are hoping that personal attacks on someone who isn't running for President and will not be involved in the new administration will somehow move people to not vote Biden. If you genuinely believe attacks on Hunter's character will move the needle then you are stupid person who spends too much time online.

Maybe they attack Hunter Biden so much because he should be the Biden running for president, he's like a movie star. 'Lock him up! Lock him up!'

Pretty much. It kinda looks pathetic that Trump and co have to spread news about Hunter Biden. Is Papa Biden that clean or something? They sure make it look that way.

Thus far, from what I can see, even Foxnews hasn't bothered to report on this crap.

These people are eating it up hard, just like Trump wants them.

There are die hard on both sides. The die hards eating it up doesn't change anything. They already were not going to vote for Biden or Trump anyways.

True, I do wonder how many of these Trumpsters really exist, as well as the AOC types too. Just because they are the loudest, doesn't mean they are the majority.

Elections are usually decided by non die-hards.

Meanwhile, die-hards not coming out to vote is enough for their side to lose. 2016 anyone?

It just broke yesterday.... Got to give a day or two to circulate and have media outlets go over it to try and see if it's legit (which it obviously is, but with Deepfakes you never know these days).

First major media outlet to report on it legit just dropped right then:

Do you mean some key voters in key states didn't turn out to vote as if they were told not to while the Russians could do whatever they wanted to in American cyberspace? Well, it seems a bit different now, doesn't it? ;)
