The degree of vituperation in our political comments, notably among those in government, has reached a new milepost. The following is a quote.
“Anybody who thinks the election went well, like that idiot Krebs who used to be the head of cybersecurity that guy is a class A moron. He should be drawn and quartered. Taken out at dawn and shot.”
That statement was made by a man who is, among other things, a former US Attorney. He is apparently presently part of the legal team of President of the United States of America Donald Trump. His name is Mr. Joseph diGenova. The terrible unforgivable thing which Mr. Christopher Krebs did was not treason, an action which can result in a death penalty. Rather, Mr. Krebs said that this 2020 election “... was the most secure in American history.”
And so it goes in this nation, once a beacon for the world.
Regards, stay safe 'n well. Remember the prophylactic Big 3: masks, hand washing and physical distancing.
Reminder. I try to respond to all who quote my posts. If you do not get a response from me, it may be that you've made it onto my 'Ignore' list.
