Oh please. This is the Shia Muslim government we're talking about here. The Shia religious establishment supported the overthrow of Mossadegh. The West did not have the power to shove a dictator down the throats of the Iranian people. Western support may have tipped the balance, but you talk like Iran was some fully established stable democracy that could have been the Norway of the Middle East if it hadn't been for the evil West and few evil collaborators.
