Rancid wrote:I see. The Psyop part makes sense.

Whenever the Russians do something that doesn’t seem to make any objective sense, it’s usually a Psyop directed at their own people. Interpreting it usually requires an in-depth knowledge of Russian history and culture. I get the armoured trains thing, but a lot of what is going on goes straight over my head. An outsider with only a sketchy awareness of Russian history or culture would find almost everything they do incomprehensible. As Churchill put it, “a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma”.

Well the train can't be everywhere at once, couldn't a small special ops team, or even just a band of partisans just sort of damage rail lines here and there? Wait until you know the train is far away, and just mess up some rail ties. Of course, a rail line is easy to repair, but it's still a nuisance for Russia. A small group of people with a minimal amount of training and minimal amount of materiel can do.

In other words, armoured trains are militarily useless and hopelessly outmoded. They worked during the Russian Civil War because of the peculiar conditions of the time and place - little to no mobile armoured vehicles, impassable roads, a good rail network, and (most importantly) primitive aircraft. On a modern battlefield, they would all be destroyed or immobilised within hours or days at the most.

It might be still worth protecting the train's cargo... Honestly, it isn't all that crazy in my book.

On top of the signal it sends to the Russian public regarding the special military operation, too.

Of course China is imperialistic and would jump at an opening to take land from Russia. Any one that believes both of these nations are not stuck in the past are basically dummies. There is no other reason for Xi to align with a fucking asshat like Putin. Then again, Xi is a genocider, and Putin is a wanted war criminal... Birds of a feather.

Putin on his way to becoming a Xi client and dick sucker.

US intel thinks China might back a cease fire plan that leaves Russian troops in occupied parts of Ukraine. If true, what a shithole nation Xi is running in that case. Given that the CCP holds "territorial integrity" paramount.

My impression that not making an enemy out of one another meant neither had to divert as much resources and attention to a shared border and could both focus at their own focal points. Russia is obviously at war with Ukraine and China is suring up its sea borders or likely going to with its massive navy.

The PRC’s counter intervention strategy aims to restrict the United States from having a presence in China’s immediate periphery and limited U.S. access in the broader Indo-Pacific region.
- page 14

Basically, it doesn’t seem to the advantage to either to fuck around in those areas. And it seems the that it is heavily interested in securing resources through infrastructure to their west.
The PRC aims to improve stability and diminish threats, for example, by investing in projects along its western and southern periphery.
- page 45
Basically, build relationships and secure infrastructure for its own energy and supplies which aren’t as threatened by the US or its allies. Shortly after the above it suggests that it is investing in host country military defense and counter terrorism to protects these interests. So the more west it gets, the more it will be entangled in nations where its own interests may result in conflict locally if it threatens these projects like the Belt Road Initiative.

Nope, all eyes are in the South East with Taiwan and such, but they’re heading west primarily. And I don’t see any reason to suspect them going north.

The Wagner Group's head Yevgeny Prigozhin (a former convict himself) has explained this distinction and established a separate "cock division" within Wagner for convicts who can't interact with other convicts.

Importantly, "cock" status is treated as being contagious. They are literally untouchable: interacting with "cocks", sharing their food, touching them or their possessions (unless you are raping them) is regarded as being enough to make you a "cock" as well.

Moscow army is reportedly coercing convicts to join the Moscow army by threatening them with being incarcerated alongside men who are available to be raped, regarded as untouchables in Moscow prison culture.

Moscow accepted the satellite status in relation with the commie hans. Many KGB , Army generals, Siberian elites hate it , I am 120 % that Hans are too smart for such error , the entire hans´empire is build on export in EU/US , once we cut the hans off our market the china is finished and they know it. + China hate Moscow empire
