Gender studies is a new category in sociology, and much of sociology is already pseudoscience.

There are two sexes/genders: Male and female. Men are adult human males and women are adult human females. If you think you are a man or woman but do not fit this, then you have a mental illness or are suffering from a medical condition(e.i. intersex).

the male sex or the female sex, especially when considered with reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones, or one of a range of other identities that do not correspond to established ideas of male and female.
