There hasn't been any polls that I have seen about Texas after the debate. By the looks of it the debate cascaded down to congressional and senate polls also in other states.

It is not a choice, you are representative of your electorate and if you propagated your electorate to go crazy for the last 10? 15? years then do not expect them to be sane. In January it will be a different world one way or the other if Trump wins or if Trump looses. If Trump looses obviously Republicans will go in to a civil war and the smaller the margin of the loss for Trump and Co, the more painful the civil war will be inside the Republicans.

That’s possible, but it’s also possible that the traditional Republicans — being survivalists— will do a head count, conclude they don’t have the votes, and fear getting primary in their next reelection campaign? In that case, only guys like Romney will put up a token fight that quickly fizzles. I see this scenario as plausible as the civil war.

I'm not following polls that closely. The only poll that matters is the one that's taken in the first Tuesday of November.
