Salon has been the furthest to the left, probably, of the major internet news sites. They've advocated for pedophilia, called for white genocide, etc. Never the less many people have treated them like a reputable MSM news site. They're now selling for about $550k in cash and a promissory note, which may not be paid depending on future revenues if the venture doesn't start bringing in more profits.
The original company is also behind on financial disclosure requirements and is scheduled to be de-listed as a publicly tradable stock.
One of the things that stands out to me about this is that the purchaser has created an apparent new/shell company also called Salon. This suggests to me that the new owner(s) don't want to be publicly affiliated with the thing they're buying... very curious!
