PBS' Frontline has an excellent show about AI. Not the pie in the sky variety, more the kind that's in your face right now.
It's disturbing, but not in the usual semi-fictional way. It's about how there are much more sophisticated tools than the ones Cambridge Analytica used in the Russian attack. About how China is using it to suppress dissent. About how an AI Cold War could effectively split the world into 2 different camps using different systems. About how 20 years ago computers and the internet were going to liberate the world, and now the threat to freedom by technology extends far beyond China.
