I can remember posting about it when business in Space hit $1B/yr.

All this is happening despite the drastic reduction in support NASA has been getting. We could do a lot more. One of those things is to develop a better way to get into Space. The design requirements would be to lower costs, increase safety, and make daily (or more than daily) launches possible. It's just engineering, but the cost is beyond what the private sector can handle.

Once we do that, we can get out of low orbit, and start working on developing the next generation of space tech, manufacturing and mining.
