Today is Ñ/ñ Day on which we celebrate the letter of the alphabet which is used primaraly in Spanish as well as some other languages. During the early days of the European Economic Community the business class attempted to overrule a regulation in Spain which required all keyboards marketed in Spain to include the eñe. Manufacturers claimed that the regulation interfered with free enterprise. They were either too arrogant or lazy to include the eñe as if it were unimportant. There are many Spanish words which include the eñe including the name of the country itself, España. Well, today is eñe Day to be celebrated with pride.
