Every Saturday night in China, millions gather around their televisions to watch Interviews Before Execution, an extraordinary talk show which interviews prisoners on death row.
In the weeks, days or even minutes before they are executed, presenter Ding Yu goes into prisons and talks to those condemned to die. I'm still watching this, but thanks for posting this. It seems like an interesting show, and from the appearance of the documentary, it doesn't seem like she's presenting it in the same way as a reality TV show in America. It seems to take a sobering look at these people about to be put to death. It is a morbid curiosity but she seems to approach this in a respectful manner.
