I saw this when I woke up - it was a real shock. Sad

I'm too young to remember seeing him in his prime, but the guy was a monster. Imagine him - 6ft5, 18st7 - running towards you at top speed. Fuck that. Laugh out loud

He hit international rugby like a locomotive, no one had seen his like before and probably never will again. The word 'icon' is bandied around far too freely imo, but in this instance it's the perfect description for Jonah Lomu who was, and remains a rugby icon.
