There will be no detour, I have bookmarked two dozen Kpop videos just for Gletkin.

No, what Ambrosie said.

Never again, fuser, never again...

One step back for two steps forward, comrade.

Bookmarking is not enough. You must make purchases or the Korean people will not be satisfied.

If Korean revenge flicks are anything to go by, I must do whatever Korean people demands me to.

But now I think its all Gletkin's fault, everyone is confused about his identity including Demos, he/she/it might as well be our one true reptilian overlord for all we know who is purposefully hiding his true identity.

What would the benefits be of joining this group?

Being able to discuss issues that are only relevant to atheists and agnostics.

To discuss religion without having religious people complain at us.

To complain about religious people and our annoyances with them.

To discuss various arguments against religion.

Etc. Etc.

Is this like a couchsurfing thing?

RT beat me to it by several pages and explained it better, but I agree making a group for atheists makes it a religion.

A group of stamp collectors is also a religion, as are all political parties, charitable organizations, and corporations under that logic.

I would even be willing to argue that might be true, but they have a difference from atheism.
You are creating a group based upon the 'belief' that no God exists.
This basically means man assumes the role of God.
You are worshiping 'Man'.
Creating a group for this purpose becomes an organized religion.

That basically renders the meaning of religion so broad as to be meaningless.

You are creating a group based upon the 'belief' that no God exists.

Why belief is in quotes I don't know, but essentially yes.

This basically means man assumes the role of God.

What? Why? What does that even mean?

You are worshiping 'Man'.

If your going to make the definition of worship so broad that it is rendered meaningless to, sure. Just like stamp collectors "worship" stamps.

Creating a group for this purpose becomes an organized religion.

Only for absurd definitions of religion.

Just expressing my opinion.
I have no interest in attempting to alter yours.
I have a problem with organizations of all types.
They tend to ultimately demand agreement to a consensus of compromise that do not reflect the real beliefs of anyone in the group.
You are then required to adhere to this consensus or be ostracized.
