Today nearly everybody has a home computer, with internet connection. With internet you can keep yourself updated on the latest happenings around the world, it can keep you entertained, and makes you meet new people. Thus ths use of a TV is being replaced by the computer. Will TVs be gone in the future?

I think that eventually all the things like television, radio, internet, games, etc. will simply be available from one unit (a beefed-up computer of sorts). Hell, the average person can already easily get television and radio on their computer right now anyway. We're pretty much already there.

I doubt so. The TV is one of greatest inventions of the world. Maybe a TV/Computer might be the replacement, but, for now, TV's will stay the same.

I use my television as a computer monitor.

So, in my house, computer and television are the same.

What, like OMNIBOX? Hell, what a name, I'd better patent that.

It will happen. We'll be able to order a pizza from our wristwatch.

Just thought I'd say that.

OmniBox?

Many people use flat-television screens for their monitors.

(I use a Zenith screen and a Sony computer)
