I picked up a copy of Reamde, by Neal Stephenson, thinking it was science fiction. It's not, (unless my understanding of role playing computer games is way off), but it's a great read.

The sequel is pretty sci-fi.

I am currently reading Termination Shock, also by Stephenson. It is a near future novel about dealing with the rise in sea level.

If you don't think it's bad yet, you might be in for the long haul. I met a guy years ago whose gf had the whole series of 15-odd books, well dog-eared. Whoa.

<Spoiler alert> Google "Houseplants of Gor" if you want to lose any respect for those books that you might have had.

I found them on an online site. Some people have uploaded them online. You can also buy them from Amazon.

Found a copy of Termination Shock at my local public library. Just finished it. Thoroughly enjoyable read.

I mostly see Stephenson as a poor man's William Gibson, maybe I need to give him another try.

I am currently reading Isabel Allende's novel El Viento Conoce Mi Nombre. I am enjoying it. It is an emotional story.
