These Gunmakers in the US do not want to lose profits because Mexico has a law against selling guns to the public.

They sell to the Drug Cartels that are creating issues in Mexico. It is illegal for them to get guns that are military weapons in Mexico. But the US sells it to them. Sells it to Drug dealers.

They are the ones who violate Mexican law.

They do not want to be sued for it. Sorry fuck these people! They can't even stop within the US gun crimes and crazies getting a hold of guns. Even their Prez can get shot in his campaign trail because every Tom, Dick and Harry has a right to buy a gun without background checks in a lot of the redneck red states.

They are shitting bricks over Mexico. Because if Mexico wins? It means illegal gun sales are going to bankrupt their asses. Do I cry? NO.

Do you think it is correct and moral to sell guns to a nation that outlaws selling military grade weapons to the public. That has strict gun laws. And you are selling it to known terroristic criminal elements?

That is in violation of international law. Period. Pay the price. And realize, do not sell to Drug Dealers. Do not sell in Mexico or going to Mexico. Mexico has laws that are not the same laws as in the USA. Respect the decision of the Mexican government. They do not want guns in the hands of normal people. Drug dealers need to be confronted by the National Guard, and the military. Not the public.

Criminals are not about ciitzen rights.

You have a right to own a gun or rifle in Mexico. But you have to go to only one shop. In Mexico City. Register. And pass strict background checks like mental health, and safety standards and no criminal background. And it is for hunting and sport and never for stopping a thief. You shoot and kill someone who steals a chicken or a cow from your farm you are going to jail. That is Mexican law. Property is not more valuable than human life.

They do not have the death penalty in Mexico.

Get over it USA. Respect their laws about guns.

So many dumbass Texans writing in about where can I store my 20 guns in Mexico? I am moving to Mexico for retirement and I want to bring my machine gun, and glock, etc. No you can't- Laws change regarding gun shit all over the world. Look it up. Do not assume.

It should be pointed out that the cartels also have plenty of military guns that are illegal in the U.S.

And there is corruption in the Mexican military forces, and especially widespread in the local police forces, so it is not difficult for the cartels to get guns from them.

@Tainari88

Let's hope Mexico wins its case.

Give it a few years and respected quality US gun companies going bankrupt will likely raise the price my wife will get for my 'American' collection when she sells it.

Not that I will benefit, I'll be dead.

Unthinking Majority wrote:American firearms are illegally immigrating into Mexico. Just build a wall.

The wall does not stop shit at all.

AMLO on the wall issue in 60 minutes.

https://youtube.com/shorts/osIgqKvsk_E? ... j0dMAHMCBE

he then talks about how he talked briefly with Trump about the wall and then said, there is an underground tunnel from Tijuana to Los Angeles almost and San Diego. It literally is under the US Customs office. Then Trump laughed over the phone and said to him, 'I can't win with you.' End quote.

It is all bullshit his followers think is true. He is used to duping people with bullshit. Another lie that people believe like lemmings coming from Trump. Mexico did not pay for the wall. Obama was not born outside of Hawaii. It is all bullshit. To manipulate people.

All or most of Mexico's firearms are US American made. There are no factories that make firearms for general sales around the world that are made in Mexico for sale all over the world. International arms dealing is restricted to a few nations. And Mexico is not one of them. That does not exist Puffer Fish.

If you want a gun? You have to go to Mexico City or go to the USA--and stay there. If you try to bring in a firearm to Mexico from the USA? You will have it confiscated at the border. Look at this sign.

Signs warning that it is illegal to carry firearms or ammunition into Mexico are available for purchase, such as the "Warning Illegal To Carry Firearms Ammunition Into Mexico" metal tin sign from Peter's Wholesale Marketplace.
Mexico has strict laws regarding weapons, and travelers are generally prohibited from carrying any type of weapon, including firearms, knives, daggers, brass knuckles, and ammunition. The penalties for entering Mexico with a firearm or ammunition can be severe, including up to five years in prison.
Some exceptions to these laws include:
People who are eligible to purchase a firearm in the United States and reside in Mexico are allowed to import the weapon.
The bearer has explicit authorization from the Secretariat of National Defense.
Permits for bringing firearms into Mexico must be obtained in advance and cannot be obtained at Mexican customs and immigration. U.S.-issued permits for carrying weapons are not valid in Mexico.

And trying to get the Secretariat of National Defense to give you a certificate Puffer Fish is very very hard.

Sorry for the flippant response in my last post but we have seen how this plays out.

The SIG Sauer Saga ...

Spring 2009

Sig Sauer secured a contract worth up to $306 million to provide Colombian law enforcement with nearly 100,000 SP2022 pistols. Under German law, it's illegal to export arms to Latin America.

They send the pistols to their US subsidiary with false end-user certificates, and SIG Sauer USA sends them to Columbia without even opening the boxes.

July 2014

Sig Sauer is charged with illegal sales of pistols to Columbia.

The German government bans the company from exporting any more weapons.

August 2015

Some of these pistols end up in Mexico and Sig Sauer is facing criminal charges over Mexican drug killings.

2019

After a ten-year investigation, the CEO of N.H. gun maker (SIG Sauer USA) is facing five years in a German prison for the Columbian arms deal

The SIG Sauer USA CEO avoids jail time for his role in the illegal arms shipment

Late 2020

SIG Sauer closes its German weapons factory and expands production in the US.

Nothing has changed except there is a premium to be paid when buying triple-marked German-proofed SIGs in the USA.

The NRA wants to experiment with arms sales in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico had and has strict gun laws. They want to change that. Almost all the weapons that are found in the wrong hands are brought in from the USA.

The USA makes a lot of money selling arms.
