Everyone knows that there was no collusion between Trump or his campaign and the government of Russia. There is no evidence that any Russian interference--running facebook ads, etc.--changed a single vote. There is plenty of evidence that Hillary Clinton's campaign manufactured a "Trump collusion" scandal to use as a political cudgel. Nobody is dismissing that or laughing it away. You are obsessed with Donald Trump's character, and his off-putting personality. Yet, you seem to have very little criticism for someone who spent his entire adult life in politics.

Trump won because of two issues--illegal immigration and trade. The establishment decided not to be introspective about either of those two issues. They doubled down on them--even offering free health care to illegal aliens. Instead, they decided to wage scandal attacks on Trump, which had some people's interest for a year or so. Now, everybody thinks it's bullshit.

Boring. Some people might fall for this, but anyone who followed either report knows that neither of them found collusion with Russia. The president is the head of the executive branch. He is the chief law enforcement officer. He cannot obstruct the use of his own power. It's all nonsense. Federal prosecutors cannot indict the president as a matter of policy.

It's been federal policy not to indict a president for a crime while he's still in office but that's policy not law.

During the presidency of Bill Clinton and afterward, the Department of Justice ordered research about whether a president could be charged with a crime against his will and while still in office. They concluded that while it is perfectly lawful to indict a sitting president it would be best to save face, spare embarrassment, and not.
