Republicans started romancing racists in the 1960s.

It took a generation to complete, but they are in the Republican party now.

A Dem that did what some Republicans are doing would get kicked out of the party.

Lets start with the obvious. That sort of nonsense propaganda video might hold a tiny bit of weight on morons that don't know shred of history, that are easily persuaded by propaganda or by those republican duds that just want to feel a little bit about theselves.
You are not going to change any minds here with this sort of propaganda, so start with a bit of intellectually sincerity.
The people that started the Civil war and were predominant KKK were southerners and secessionists...
Today, it is the republican party more associated with all these ideas. It is the republican party who for decades were defending confederacy. It is the republican president that do not disavows the KKK and it is the republican president that calls "both sides good people". It is the republican congress that has members that are flat out racists like Steve King.

You want to hold a vote in 1860? Fine, screw democrats, lets get a time machine and go vote against them... But we are in 2020 and either party only shares a name with their former self.

It is not unlike saying that Germany is worse than NK because they were the bad guys during WWII... and perhaps that would be true in then 1930's and 1940's but its been almost a century of change. As far as republican and democratic change, not different than Democrat/Republican shit.

How convenient that the 'Republicans started romancing racists in the 1960s', whereas the extensive ties between the Democratic party and racial segregationists suddenly disappeared. By the way, Biden appears to have an extensive history with Democratic segregationists from the South.
