Both parties, I emphasise that both parties, Republicans and Democrats gain from America's absurd electoral, Constitutional, governmental system. The United States only survived as a unitary state because of the stupidty, the cretinism of the Confederates in withdrawing from the Union before they had fully created the Confederacy.

Hence I argue for a zero tolerance policy to those that support the American Constitution, but whine about its unfairness, whine about people breaking the rules. There are four principle groups of whiners:

1 The Republican establishment
2 The Republican Right
3 The Democratic establishment
4 The Democratic left

All 4 groups whine but all 4 groups have an interest in the current system.

The Republican right a decided minority of the electorate with no hope of taking control under proportional representation, hope to gain control over the Republican party and then take over the government.

Similarly the Democratic Party Left a decided minority of the electorate with no hope of taking control under proportional representation, hope to gain control over the Democratic party and then take over the government.

The system works very similarly in Britain here we have the 4 groups:

The Conservative establishment
The Conservative Right
The Labour Party establishment
The Labour Party Left

Again all 4 disparate groups support the system, all 4 groups have an interest in the continuance of the system, but whine constantly about the unfairness of the system, whine constantly that the other groups are breaking the rules and whine constantly that democracy is under threat and about to disappear.

 Fantastic, absolutely fantastic. What joy it is to see first past the post supporters getting screwed over like this. The American Constitutional system is first past the post with cherries on. No political system will be perfect. There will always be cheating, lying and dissimulation in politics. No political system will be ideal, but first past the post (especially with with cherries on) maximises the incentives for cheating, lying and dissimulation in politics and minimises the incentives for honesty, integrity and intelligent thought out development and explanation of policy.

Hence its always brings me great joy to see the supporters of first past the post (with or without cherries on) losing out big time. And hence my policy of absolute zero tolerance for those that support first past the post, but then whine about cheating or unfairness. I followed this same zero tolerance policy to all the whining about Lance Armstrong. The Tour de France is a first post past the post system on steroids, no apologies for the pun. Look retards if you set up a rewards system like the Tour de France, people are going to cheat, what is so hard for you to understand about that?

No guys there's other people going by the name Wulfschilde out there. Very common name really.

Anyways, after months of denying any association with looting, riots etc., with mixed success, pretty much every blue checkmark on Twitter today is calling for people to "burn it down." I wonder, will they be shocked and offended when people associate them with violence or will they just be shocked that most people don't respect their decision?

RBG was pretty hot, not gonna lie.

As for whatever happens in the courts. The supreme court consists of pretty smart people even if they are biased. There has been tons of cases recently when Conservative candidates understand this and rule fairly of sorts. Not sure about the newer ones. So i don't think that it is that much of a problem if Trump appoints someone. It will be immoral and pretty much against everything that common law legal systems stand, but hey its Trump. He will have no trouble shitting at the common law legal systems and their principles.

Are there any other scenarios to consider?

At this point, I can’t even guess which way Trump will jump. One consideration I haven’t seen anyone mention is that the prospective nominee needs to be willing to have their name put forward during the election, any number of names on Trump’s list might refuse under these conditions.

One scenario you didn’t mention is Trump putting out a name now, but the Senate vote—maybe even the hearings—not happening until a lame duck session after the election.

Supreme Court cases, October term 2020-2021

Different set of goons, though there may be some crossover.

I'm about society as a whole protecting every human person from conception to end of natural life, especially those most vulnerable and helpless. I know that when the Rich speak of abortion and contraception and sterilization, they are speaking of eugenics and killing people they deem lesser than themselves because the poor constitute both a possible threat and a reproach to the way of life of the wealthy.

As for Ginsburg, perhaps forgotten in all this political rhetoric, may the Lord have mercy upon her as with us all.

Another possibility is that Trump puts up a moderate despite what the party might like. He might do this to curry favor with independents and take the political value away from the Democrats.

If he tries to appoint someone who is not a strict constitutionalist the Tea Party senators might stall or even vote HER down. One think is certain. Whether Trump wins or loses they will appoint Ginsburg's successor before inauguration day.

Sen McSally from Arizona, of course, has already said she would vote for whoever Trump puts up. She would. If she wins election (she is a senator who has not won election but lost the last time only to have our governor appoint her to McCain's seat) we are going to all chip in and buy her an even bigger Trump button.

You're thinking about this way harder than the POTUS ever will.

His aides, whose chief job is to make sure he is calm enough not to tweet out n-word, will put a Denny's children's place mat in front of him with cartoon drawings of the potential nominees and gently guide him toward a dominionist sociopath who thinks free markets make free-er people and not explain to him why said nominee gleefully wants to burn the world so the rapture can happen.

I’ve been doing some thinking, and at this point (early, I know) I think Trump is going to announce his choice quickly, and it’ll be someone on his list—there is no way he could pick someone not on the list without having his re-election chances crater—but the actual vote could be held off until after the election.

That last will depend on how McConnell counts the vote, while the Republicans have 53 Senators some of them are squishy on the question of Originalists. If McConnell think they will lose less than four votes, then we can expect a vote before the election, of someone that was vetted by the Senate for a lower position fairly recently—that way, McConnell can argue for an expedited process of someone that’s already been vetted. McConnell won’t want to put off the vote until after the election unless he has to, because that undercuts his figleaf of “the People have already spoken,” especially since there’s a real chance that Republicans will lose control of the Senate come Election Day.

Can you call up the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and ask them to send me my file? From the time you called them to report an own on the internet?

For those who are unaware: Doug65 literally called the police on one of my posts and just lmfao at this delicate man.

Lets all listen to the soft Canadian man's opinions on American politics. Also, he lusts for the rapture and how, like the RCMP, God will own his enemies for him.

BTW I'm stll fighting with my HOA over the cleaning bill for how your dumbass Dudley Dooright cops horse stomped horse shit into the carpet of our hallways.
