President Biden has issued an order that all federal workers have to be vaccinated or they will lose their jobs.
But at the same time federal workers are not being required to wear masks indoors.
(mask wearing will only be required in certain parts of the country with high infection rates)
What does this tell us? Does the Biden Administration really care about trying to stop the disease, or is this more about forcing people to "get with the program"?
"What works for me should work for you"?
For a short time there was an exemption where federal workers could get weekly testing as an alternative to being required to be vaccinated, but this exemption was eliminated last week:

The actual studies seem to suggest that the vaccine is only moderately effective.
Covid hospital patients, for example, are actually statistically more likely to die if they had received the vaccine. There are several areas in the world where more than half the Covid hospital patients were vaccinated. In the UK, 40% of Covid hospital patients were vaccinated.
Numerous studies have suggested the vaccine might not be that great at preventing the spread of the virus, and rather its major benefit is in reducing how sick an individual gets if infected. Some believe masks are more effective at stopping the spread of the virus than the vaccine.

Is forcing all federal workers to be injected with the vaccine really justified?
Let's remember there are 2 million federal employees in the US, and that's not even counting the military, and these vaccines have been known in rare instances to cause severe medical complications with lifelong debilitating effects, sometimes necessitating heart surgery procedures.
I happen to find this new requirement to be outrageous. One single elected official should not be able to have the power to require this.
The fact these workers are not even being required to wear masks illustrates the hypocrisy.
