If so, then just nominate the black woman and say she's a qualified candidate, and because she actually is a qualified candidate and not another reason.

wat0n wrote:Why? For starters, because in pretty much any other context it's illegal to hire to fulfill quotas of some sort.
But more importantly, because saying so from the get go will forever leave her as a diversity justice and implies she'd not be named justice had her not being black or a "her".

That appointments are political are not something new at all - after all, they are nominated and confirmed by politicians -, but the above is something that's widely expected by the public.

Because obviously that's the truth and everybody with half a brain knows it.
wat0n wrote:First you say you'll pick one of the 1000, actually, then you pick her without making any reference to her identity classes and instead justify it based on her career so when in the future she's accused of being a diversity justice she'll be able to say that's not why the POTUS her.
Rugoz wrote:Which is a lie.
wat0n wrote:Not really. Unless you believe Biden will pick a black woman who also happens to be a conservative like Clarence Thomas.
Rugoz wrote:You mean she's not only a diversity justice but a diversity justice AND a political justice.

That's much better.
