Here's the truth, he was the chief of the Public Integrity department. He went after plenty of Democrats.

He could have had a cushy job making serious money after he retired. Instead he worked at the Hague for a small fraction of what he could have made.

He's got integrity coming out the wazoo.

Unlike Garland, he likes to get on with it. Expect things to move quickly ( by JD standards).

What I don't know is whether he does the usual, which is to go for the slam dunk of a conviction over the theft of govt. documents, or to offer up a buffet of criminal charges that attempts to truly hold Trump accountable.

His name is Smith, and by now someone will have told Trump that his ass is grass..

2) Smith took out VA Gov. Bob McDonnell as a potential GOP presidential candidate–on bogus corruption charges. Supreme Court reversed, 9-0.

It tells us that Republican hacks abused their authority, 201(c) organisations are not supposed to be political, and they were.

He did go after Dems, and he did lose that case. You could have argued that his case should have been overturned. But you can't argue that Republicans weren't abusing 201(C) and then trying to shield them from scrutiny.
