Redrawing the Map of the Moscow´s empire : Partitioning Muscovy, Brzezinski

he Polish-American intellectual Zbigniew Brzezinski, who was US President Jimmy Carter’s national security advisor and an architect behind the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, has actually advocated for thedestruction of Russia through gradual disintegration and devolution. He has stipulated that «a more decentralized Russia would be less susceptible to imperial mobilization».[1] In other words, if the US divides Russia up, Moscow would not be able to challenge Washington. In this context, he states the following: «A loosely confederated Russia—composed of a European Russia, a Siberian Republic, and a Far Eastern Republic—would find it easier to cultivate closer economic regulations with Europe, with the new states of Central Asia, and with [East Asia], which would thereby accelerate Russia’s own development».

yeah this was western imperialistic dream since napoleon, but in every attempt they failed! tho this is ex-yu-scenario alike that should be achieved by nationalistic virology [1] what after Chechniya is over ... but not just that this scenario is dead but also their direct western space for maneuver is over i.e. their anaconda doctrine also felt apart when west has lost Crimea [1] I cant find where was stated but berzezinsky crucial point in this respect was who controls Crimea he controls the Black Sea, so the southern border is secured altho always was [1] now even more through the recent ties with Turkey ...

actually now west can dream only for its compactness if their financial gambling house burst ahead, and how will secure support for any ww3 scenario, aside that is far behind with its hypersonic missiles, so by no means this fantasy of brzezinski can become anytime soon reality nor directly nor indirectly, pointing to it now is like bragging about 19th century scenarios ...

Kinda a lie. During the later days of the USSR many European countries and even the US wanted to keep the USSR intact. They didn't really want the USSR to collapse due to the instability it would cause which it did in the end. A reformed USSR would have been the perfect outcome, a sort of loose unity within the CIS framework within the liberal democratic framework. But that never happened so we got what we got. The propagandist explanations after the fact are just stupid people trying to rationalise why the USSR fell apart by no fault of the USSR. The USSR didn't collapse because of the US, the USSR collapsed due to the whole system being ineffective and oppressive which was not workable long term. So once the USSR started opening up then the whole national and local problems started surfacing that previously were supressed by violence and terror.
