A Serbian friend of mine got a free week end trip for his hole family to Serbia (sponsored by the town major) to vote for him.

Who invests money in vote buying if he can not make much much more in the future by corruption.

In Bosnia is the voter turn out about 20%. Votes are either buyed or state employees who fear to loose their job (if they vote for the opposition).

In a democracy is voting secret this is a guarantee by the OECD, but the people do not know this. We have just +/- 25 Years experience in Democracy but it lacks education in the schools how it works.

When is anyone going to see a "League of Nations" again? I mean whats everybody think about when they hear Woodrow Wilson's League of Nations? And when do you hear about a League of Nations anywhere? Now all anybody has is Bill Clinton in Kosovo.

The ‘Wilsonian Moment’ was a time in the wake of the First World War in which many of those in the colonised world hoped that the time had come for the pre-war world order, which placed the Western powers at the top and marginalised the majority of the rest of the world, to be demolished and non-European nations would be given their rightful place.[13][14] Erez Manela is a key historian of the Wilsonian Moment, having produced work on the topic which include case studies on the Wilsonian Moment in Egypt,[15] Korea,[16] China and India.[13] He aimed to address the fact that the significance of Wilsonianism in Asia and Africa had received little attention from scholars.[15] The reaction in the colonised world was largely the result of Woodrow Wilson’s ‘Fourteen Points’ speech on 8 January 1918,[17] in which Wilson advocated the formation of a ‘general association of nations’ ‘for the purpose of affording mutual guarantees of political independence and territorial integrity to great and small states alike’.[18] He declared in a subsequent speech to Congress on February 8, 1918, that in the post-war peace settlement, ‘national aspirations must be respected’ and people could only be governed ‘by their own consent’. Self-determination ‘not a mere phrase’ but an ‘imperative principle of action’.[15]

Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, heir presumptive to the Austro-Hungarian throne, and his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg, were assassinated on 28 June 1914 by Bosnian Serb student Gavrilo Princip, shot at close range while being driven through Sarajevo, the provincial capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina, formally annexed by Austria-Hungary in 1908.
Wilson’s words launched an atmosphere of intense optimism and hope amongst marginalised peoples in all corners of the globe and Erez Manela claims that by December 1918, shortly before the Paris Peace Conference, Wilson was ‘a man of almost transcendent significance’.[13] Wilson’s rhetoric certainly had an impact in Asian nations...and the March First movement in Korea.

XI. Romania, Serbia, and Montenegro should be evacuated; occupied territories restored; Serbia accorded free and secure access to the sea; and the relations of the several Balkan states to one another determined by friendly counsel along historically established lines of allegiance and nationality; and international guarantees of the political and economic independence and territorial integrity of the several Balkan states should be entered into.

XII. The Turkish portion of the present Ottoman Empire should be assured a secure sovereignty, but the other nationalities which are now under Ottoman rule should be assured an undoubted security of life and an absolutely unmolested opportunity of autonomous development, and the Dardanelles should be permanently opened as a free passage to the ships and commerce of all nations under international guarantees.

XIII. An independent Polish state should be erected which should include the territories inhabited by indisputably Polish populations, which should be assured a free and secure access to the sea, and whose political and economic independence and territorial integrity should be guaranteed by international covenant.

XIV. A general association of nations must be formed under specific covenants for the purpose of affording mutual guarantees of political independence and territorial integrity to great and small states alike.

But, dude, you are the secessionist who destroyed Yugoslavia! You Muslims, Croats and Slovenians. Not only you destroyed it politically, but you have chosen to do it through violent secession.

You Muslims, Ottoman collaborators, are the reason why the Balkans is the most corrupted place in Europe.
It is all Ottoman legacy. That's the way you ruled for centuries, by corruption and terror.
Do you know why the West had dark middle age and Inquisition, and the South East had Ottomans?
The West had made first choice!

Ottoman occupation prevented the south East of Europe to go through Renaissance/Baroque/enlightenment , that was opportunity for Balkan societies to evolve in democratic societies.
But instead of that - we got our common legacy the Ottoman genocidal occupation which is the reason why the Balkans is the most corrupted and least developed region in Europe.

The level of underdevelopment is directly proportional to the length of Turkish occupation.

So, you are complaining about direct consequences of basically what you Ottoman collaborators and Yugoslav secessionists caused.

You are, my dear fanatic - a typical arsonists who like to act as a firefighter.

Never. We tried to preserve Yugoslavia, but the USA and NATO supported secessionists and terrorists. That battle is lost. The Balkans is now a collection of weak puppet states.
Those under direct rule of Washington harbor terrorists, ISIL cannon fodder , smuggle drugs...

We just want to be left alone and to live long and prosper

@Independent_Srpska Milosevic destroyed Yugoslavia!!!

We were 6 equal republics, but Milosevic wanted to transform Yugoslavia in Great-Serbia.

Lies You are allies of the Turks. As Husein Kapetan Gradascevic rose up against the Turks, The Serbs fought on their side.

Did you not cheer for the Taliban???

Yeah, right. In your secessionist's dreams.
It is your excuse to whitewash violent secession you started and committed initial crimes.
There is, even, on YouTube the moment in Parliament when Uber Croat Ustasha and a secessionist admits:"I fulfilled my assignment, Yugoslavia is no more."
Right?
Of course it is.
And you know very well secessionist movememts of Croats and Slovenians are way older than Milošević career, so do not play naive.
We were 6 equal republics, but Milosevic wanted to transform Yugoslavia in Great-Serbia.

Even, anti-Serb court in the Hague dropped that idiocy from indictment.
So, what is your logic?
Milošević started wars to reduce territory, because he didn't want the greatest Serbia, he wanted war to help Slovenians leave Yugoslavia, so he could have smaller Great Serbia?
That's really insane ... from you.

Lies You are allies of the Turks. As Husein Kapetan Gradascevic rose up against the Turks, The Serbs fought on their side.

Husein Gradaščević was a filthy Turkish collaborator who opposed sultan's rule (in 1831) only when Sultan ordered improvement of status of enslaved autochthonous Serbs in Bosnia.
(Not that Sultan Mahmud 2nd was a good person, but Turkey suffered defeat against Russians, and improvement of position of enslaved Christians in Turkish empire was a part of the Adrianople Treaty (1829))
Fucking Husein was a fighter for slavery, he was , basically American South 30 years earlier.

Did you not cheer for the Taliban???

Why would I cheer for Talibans?!
They are fucking filthy murderers and goat-wrangler who were brought by your kind to kill my people in my country!
Six of them, who were killing and decapitating in Bosnia, landed on the WTC on 9/11, basically thanks to you and your kind.

You spread lies like those about Ukraine.

Bosnian Army was in Afghanistan and Iraq (Republika Srpska was against this engagement)

Your Dodik kills businessman, and his son overtakes the companies.

David Dragicevic a Hacktivist got raped and killed, by Srpska Police.

I heard from several cases where people in Republika Srpska died through starvation, we have welfare (although small but we did not even in war die by starvation).

You deserve such a government.
#15242261
Total crap.

You complain about misery and corruption you caused...ffs why did you cause it in the first place????
Your crapping on your previous crap doesn't negate it!
It makes it double. And it stinks twice more.

The last time I will answer you, blind fanatic like all Bosnian-Serbs.

1st Russian farmers were slaves in this time too! Lenin freed them, Stalin made them slaves again.

2nd

The Turks wanted to make all to make Turks, and the Serb fought on turkish side. The uprising was because the Turks ended the Bosnian autonomy.

You are a pathetic pathological liar.

From Britannica:

In 1831 a charismatic young kapetan called Husein seized power in Bosnia, imprisoning the vizier in Travnik. With an army of 25,000 men, Husein then marched into Kosovo to negotiate with the Ottoman grand vizier, demanding local autonomy for Bosnia and an end to the reform process there.

But the grand vizier stirred up a rivalry between Husein and the leading kapetan of Herzegovina, Ali-aga Rizvanbegović, and in the following year Husein’s support melted away when a large Ottoman army entered Bosnia. Rizvanbegović’s reward was that Herzegovina was separated from the Bosnian eyalet as a distinct territory under his rule.

Further reforms announced by Sultan Abdülmecid I, involving new rights for Christian subjects, a new basis for army conscription, and an end to the much-hated system of tax-farming, were either resisted or ignored by the powerful Bosnian landowners.

You, dishonorable traitors and Ottoman's servants fought for continuation of Christian enslavement in Bosnia.

Dude, your national hero is a fighter for slavery, could you get lower than that?

Of course you could.

You are the only people in the world who celebrate the occupier (Turkish Sultan El Fatih) , destroyer of your country and killer of your king.

Your national Hero and your Avatar is Gavrilo Princip, the worst terrorist of all times, he caused WW1 which lead to WW2.

He shot the pregnant Sophie Chotek, in the stomach, then he killed prince Ferdinand.

Oh, geez, every single one of you little Zelenskys would kill Putin if he would drive through Kiev slowly, in an open car on the big Ukrainian national holiday, right?
And you would be happy and proud to do it, right?

You occupiers' servant, you simply can't understand an urge for freedom. Gavrilo killed the occupier of Gavrilo's country. Gavrilo killed an occupier in the Gavrilo's country.

What your kind do with occupiers? You worship occupiers, you worshiped Turks, you worshiped Austrians, you worshiped Hitler...you even today celebrate them...

August 2022...Bosnian Muslims celebrate sultan Mehmet El Fatih, who himself slaughtered the last King of Bosnia in 1463, destroyed Bosnia and enslaved citizens.
