I accidentally know how this number was calculated. The number of Germans who gave a birth in 1945-1946 and said the father was a Russian. Multiplied by the whole female population of Germany from 16 to 60. The answer is around 2,000,000. Well, anything can be proven in this way, because it's not research, it's propaganda. Maybe it's a good idea for the rest of the world to know how statistics works. The Bayes' theorem?
