The damage has been done though. I don't even know how to describe the problem. One day China says something positive, the other day it says something insane.
May be it is a bit too harsh but I could summarize it with Chinese diplomatic corpus not being reformed/up-to-standard or lacking ideas or lacking implementation allowance for those ideas. Don't know but we do care though since it kinda screws up our policy towards China and makes EU move to the US side. Something which we choose not to do before all this. Would have been so much easier if XI or whoever is responsible just to take EU side on Ukraine but that didn't happen.
I do not think that any nation is hopeless to change; however, I think that some nations do require a lot more effort than others to become changed. - Verv
