Haplotypes are just a genealogical marker, they are not really related to race per se. The most known ones are those from the Y-chromosome (for paternal ancestry) and mitochondrial DNA (for maternal ancestry) but you could find others by using statistical analysis. These haplotypes usually do not really code anything, they're just part of our junk DNA.
