America is once again trying to provoke the Middle East by starting a cyber war. The situation in the region is still remain tense due to the attack on refineries in Saudi Arabia (Iran`s involvement has not been proved by the way), while Trump continues to add more fuel to the fire, tightening sanctions against Iran and announcing plans to send additional troops to the Middle East. I think Trump is just showing off, being not a politician, but an ordinary showman and trying to look rough, strict or cool. However, this look more like the impulsive decisions of a teenager than a politician.

You keep making assertions that can't be defended.

Which is why you don't waste any time trying to defend them.

The instability of the region has grown since Obama left office. There are other causes, of course, but Trump has implicitly acknowledged the problem by trying to cut a new deal with Iran. Killing the JCPOA was a massive mistake, one that set off an escalating series of events. Like the recent attack on Saudi oil fields.

Trump decided to send an Army Patriot missile defense battery and four Sentinel RADAR units to defend Saudi Arabia against drone attacks, which would include 200 support personnel. An investigation found the weapons used to target Saudi oil fields had been made in and launched from Iran. Earlier, the THAAD missile defence system could not be delivered to Saudi Arabia because the Senate blocked the arms sales, owning to Saudi Arabia's support for a terrorist group in Yemen.

The Pentagon has settled on sending an Army Patriot missile defense battery and four Sentinel RADAR units to defend Saudi Arabia against attacks, following airstrikes on oil fields earlier this month.

That would include 200 support personnel, according to a Thursday statement from Defense Department spokesman Jonathan Hoffman.

“It is important to note these steps are a demonstration of our commitment to regional partners, and the security and stability in the Middle East,” Hoffman said.

Trump is letting the tail wag the dog because it enriches him and his family. (Can you say 666?)

What we need to do is tug the leash on MBS.

Not doing that is nuts.

This is a misunderstanding by a lot of people.

There has been a world wide cyber war for easily the last 20-30 years.
